There comes a point in healing when you realize how exhausting it is to constantly explain yourself.
To explain your choices,
Your growth,
Your boundaries,
Your path,
Your truth?
And sometimes we don't even realize we're doing it.
It can show up through over explaining,
Over posting.
Trying to curate how people perceive us.
Trying to make people understand our intentions.
Trying to make sure nobody sees us the wrong way.
But the deeper question is.
.
.
Why do we feel the need to convince people of who we are in the first place?
A lot of the time it comes from fear.
Fear of rejection,
Fear of being misunderstood,
Fear of not being accepted.
Fear that if someone sees us incorrectly,
Somehow that becomes our identity.
But someone else's perception of you is not your truth.
And the more secure you become within yourself,
The less energy you feel called to spend proving yourself to other people.
Because your life is not meant to be lived through the lens of everyone else's approval.
Your life is meant to be experienced through your own alignment,
Your own peace,
Your own truth,
And your own fulfillment.
Not everyone is going to understand your decisions.
Not everyone is going to resonate with your path.
Not everyone is going to see the vision you see for yourself.
And that's okay.
People can only meet you from the level of awareness,
Experience,
And perception that they currently hold.
Their perception is not your responsibility.
What drains us emotionally is when we abandon ourselves trying to manage how everyone else feels about us.
Trying to control perception is exhausting.
Because no matter how good your intentions are,
No matter how kind you are.
No matter how much you explain yourself.
Some people will still misunderstand you.
And healing is learning that you can survive that.
You do not need universal approval to live a meaningful life.
You do not need everyone to agree with your choices in order for your choices to be valid.
Success is not based on how convincing you are.
Success is based on how aligned you feel within yourself.
Does your life feel authentic to you?
Does your path feel true to you?
Does your spirit feel expanded by the choices you're making?
That matters more than perception.
And this is where the let them energy becomes powerful.
Let people think what they want.
Let people project.
Let people misunderstand.
Let people create stories.
Because at the end of the day,
Your piece is too valuable to sacrifice trying to control narratives that were never yours to hold.
You know your heart.
You know your intentions.
You know the work you've done to become who you are.
And the people who are truly aligned with you will feel that naturally.
You won't have to force understanding.
You won't have to overperform your goodness.
You won't have to constantly prove your worth.
Real alignment speaks for itself.
So instead of centering other people's opinions,
Come back to yourself.
How do you feel within your life?
How do you feel within your decisions?
How do you feel within your body when you stop trying to perform for acceptance?
Because there is so much freedom in allowing yourself to simply be.
To be seen as natural.
To be misunderstood sometimes.
To be human.
To evolve publicly.
To trust yourself without needing permission.
Your energy is sacred.
And the more you stop pouring it into convincing people who you are,
The more energy you have available to actually become who you are.
Namaste everyone.
