Hello and thank you for joining today.
My name is Jacqueline Urban Luna with Urban Luna Coaching.
And today is part one of our seven part series extracted from my book,
Your Body and Its Natural Eros.
Did you know that your body,
Your being,
Has seven intelligence centers?
That are expressions of your natural eros.
These seven intelligence centers pick up messages of wisdom,
Innate wisdom that support you to hear your soul's voice,
To generate power,
Pleasure,
And intimacy,
To manifest your desires,
Express your truth,
And connect you to the cosmos.
Now I know what you may be thinking,
She's talking about the seven chakras.
Duh,
Ben Dare knew that.
Well this is not your mama's guide to the seven chakras.
Though you will certainly find similarities,
This map of your intelligence centers and how it relates to your natural eros is electrifying.
For those who don't know me,
I am a somatic coach,
Embodiment facilitator,
Shamanic healer,
And relationship mentor at Urban Luna Coaching.
This seven part series is curated particularly for those who would describe themselves to be ambitious,
Yet soulful,
And have been noticing power struggles,
Meaning power leaks,
Power imbalances in your relationships,
Particularly in your relationships to money,
And in your relationship in your romantic or love life.
You may notice that you struggle to admit what you really,
Really want,
Especially when what you desire seems to be too risky,
Or contradictory to reality,
Or you've been burned before.
And you may also notice challenges in maintaining an open heart along with pristine boundaries.
Some people would call this co-dependence,
Where there's specific power leaks in your relationship,
Often in the context of your romantic relationship,
But also in your relationship with money.
Your relationship with money and love is quite parallel.
Well,
If you are like,
Check,
Check,
Check,
I recognize myself,
She is talking to me,
And Jacqueline's talking to me,
Then you are in the right spot.
Now is the time for you to learn about your seven intelligence centers and your natural Eros.
So you can tune into the wisdom of your body,
Your being,
And experience a complete transformation in your relationship to yourself and to your power,
And this will up-level your finances,
The state of your finances,
Wherever it may be,
And this will up-level your love life,
The state of what you're experiencing in the romance department,
Whatever that may be.
Today we are focusing on the root chakra,
Located at the base of your tailbone,
Your pelvic bowl,
And this center of intelligence is related to your wisdom that connects to your desire,
With a capital D,
And when I talk about desire I mean your truth,
Your deepest truth,
What you are here to experience and contribute as a soulful human being.
And sometimes we get confused about what our truth is or what our desires are because their desires,
The ones that we can identify,
Are often compensating for what we think we can have or what's reasonable or what we feel like is safe and doesn't rock the boat too much in our lives or won't cost us too much,
Right?
And so connecting to your root chakra and its intelligence is crucial for living a life that's aligned with who you are.
Tapping into this wisdom center,
You'll have an actual visceral experience of what truth feels like in your body,
What your deepest desires feel like in your body,
Even if they seem unreasonable or risky.
Your root chakra,
In addition to being connected to your truth,
Your deepest desires,
Is also connected to your sense of survival,
Your instinct for belonging and taking up space.
Let me tell you a little bit more about why it's important.
If it's not already clear to you the importance of this intelligence center,
What is at risk if you don't know how to listen and engage artfully with your root chakra is you are leaving yourself vulnerable to some,
You know,
Potentially scary situations where you're compromising your safety so that you can experience some sense of belonging,
Right?
Or you experience dissatisfaction in your intimate relating because you don't speak what your deepest desires are and what you want to experience in intimate relating.
You may be leaving yourself vulnerable to receiving less than preferable or completely unwanted advances or attention more regularly than you'd like to admit.
You may be sending mixed signals that confuse the heck out of your partner or whoever you're relating with intimately.
You're confusing yourself as well.
Without connecting to your root chakra,
Your deepest desires,
Truth,
And your sense of safety and survival,
You will remain confused about what actually lights you up,
What has you feel alive,
And you will settle for less than that.
You will generally not feel safe in your own skin and have a hard time taking up space with confidence.
You may find that you think good trustworthy people are hard,
If not impossible to find.
You may find yourself skeptical and not trusting in life or people because your experience isn't one of safety.
And you know,
You might have a hard time trusting others or yourself for that matter.
And so I'd like to quickly acknowledge that certainly we move through life and there are traumatic experiences that will impact us.
And this is in no way.

My intention is to empower you to develop this innate intelligence of your root chakra,
To connect to your truth,
Your deepest desires,
Your sense of belonging and safety and how to create that for yourself.
Now,
Of course we can be victims,
Unfortunately,
To others and violence and traumatic circumstances.
This is not to negate that or invalidate that.
What I'm simply speaking to here is how to focus your beautiful energy and attention on developing your capacity to remain connected to your truth,
Your deepest desires and your sense of belonging and safety so that you can navigate life in a way that leaves you with the most peace and power possible in any circumstance.
If you don't know how to listen and engage artfully with your root chakra,
You are missing out.
You are missing out on that juicy fulfillment,
That nourishing yumminess of honoring your deepest desires.
You are missing a lifestyle that feels juicy,
Nourishing,
Experiencing intimate relating that it may not be perfect but it feels reverential to who you are and what you want to experience and what's true for you and what has you feeling safe.
This is just a very powerful place to create from.
You may be missing out on juicy collaborations with other human beings.
Who knows where those juicy collaborations could lead?
Whether it's in romantic partnerships or otherwise or with how you create wealth with your money and your finances without connecting to your truth and your deepest desires,
Your sense of safety and belonging.
We miss out.
We miss out on opportunities.
We're not available.
We don't see it because we're not connected to who we are and what we want.
We might often feel ourselves off our center or not feeling safe enough to take risks or try out new opportunities.
You might be missing out on once in a lifetime adventures and that permeating sense of safety and belonging in your own skin.
Your root chakra is mostly interested in connecting you to who you truly are and through that truth bringing you so much joy.
The thing about joy is joy in my perspective has this beautiful alive quality that encompasses all sorts of experiences,
Sensations,
Emotional textures ranging from bliss to grief,
Pleasure and pain.
There's a joy intermingled with that because there's a way that you are remaining true to who you are.
When you get connected to your root chakra and you learn how to tune into its wisdom,
When you respond to life towards opportunities or when you wake up and what do I want to create with my day?
Who do I want to be?
What do I want to experience?
What do I want to contribute?
You can check in with the wisdom of your root chakra and as you develop this skill you'll actually feel what feels like a big fat yes buzzing electrifying feeling.
It might contradict what your mind thinks is logical or reasonable or it might even trigger a little bit of your heart's sensitivity towards or focus on connection.
Your heart might start to think,
Oh no can I have connection if I admit that this is what I want to create today?
And the answer is yes.
When the heart is really grounded the heart knows that following your truth will only lead to more love and connection.
But sometimes the heart in its more underdeveloped or egoic concerns might question what the root chakra yes is expressing.
You might notice that your root chakra feels like a no.
There's no movement or energy or life force zipping through there.
It feels flat.
Not just neutral but flat or you might even have a feeling of backing away or maybe even getting smaller.
Not in an emotional way but just not yay that makes me feel alive and open.
It just turns you off kind of feeling.
Or you might experience a little bit of a tug of war in your root chakra.
I think I'm a yes but I'm not sure.
Sometimes we just need to spend a little more time with whatever the inquiry is.
What is my deepest truth here?
What is the deeper thing that I really want to create and experience?
If there are concerns around safety or belonging we can address those.
We can feel into any concerns that we might have and have a dialogue,
An inner dialogue so to speak with these voices that are piping up.
For example if you're feeling a yes but there's concerns,
Shame or judgments coming up from other parts of your being that are concerned about connection or safety.
What can you do to feel safe enough to dissolve the shame and the judgments?
What can you do to feel safe enough to create safety?
What do you need to request?
Where do you need to move your body?
What do you need to ask for?
What do you need to give yourself?
So that you can free up the desire that wants to be met.
So you can surrender,
Express and receive your desires.
That's where the joy is.
And if you are a no,
A no that actually feels like there's a threat.
There's no that's just,
I'm a no,
That doesn't feel good for me and I want to back away from that.
And that from a place of judgment it just doesn't feel aligned.
That's one thing.
But then there's also a no that feels like I need to get out of here,
I am not safe.
So if you are experiencing that from your root chakra,
So wise,
What must you do to protect yourself and feel safe?
Like they exit the situation.

Are you connected to your deepest truth?
What does it sound like?
What does it feel like as a yes,
As a no,
As a yes,
But with concerns?
What does belonging and safety feel like and how can you create it?
And where do you notice that you outsource this intelligence?
Waiting for someone else to show you what you want or what's acceptable or waiting for someone else to make you feel safe or convince you that you belong?
