Her Summer

Track 8 from my album Listening. The title comes from a phrase I heard someone say once: "she spent her summer with me!" and the two words "her summer" really stuck out to me and inspired this song. It's amazing how those little things can spark some bigger inspiration. Those two words matched how I felt about my wife when we first met and I was writing this song and how feeling this way about someone can feel like the best parts of summer.

It features acoustic guitar and vocals. Also features an acoustic guitar solo, which was fun for me to do. Ideal for when you want to relax to a coffeehouse-like singer/songwriter acoustic sound. Also released elsewhere as Matt Bingham instead of In the Flow.
