Welcome,
I'm so glad you're joining me today.
You can do this grounding meditation either standing up or sitting down.
So we're just gonna first take a moment,
Find a comfortable seat or stand,
And then start off with feeling into your body.
How does it feel?
Feel how your muscles are working hard to keep you upstanding or sitting down.
You can feel the connection with the ground beneath you and how your body is strongly supported by the ground.
Now,
We're just gonna take a few deep breaths in and out of your tummy.
We're gonna start off breathing in,
And do that again,
Breathing in.
Make sure you breathe deep,
Deep into your tummy,
Breathing in.
We're gonna start with visualizing roots that grow out of the sole of our feet,
They grow into the earth,
Deep,
They are strong roots going through all the layers of the earth,
Aiming for the center of the earth.
And once you're there,
I want you to anchor your deep roots,
Strong roots into the center of the earth.
Now feel this beautiful,
Strong connection you've just created with mother earth,
And from the center of the earth,
We're gonna imagine white light traveling up through our roots,
Through the layers of the earth,
Entering at the sole of our feet,
And then,
And now this light travels up through our legs,
Pelvis area,
Further up your stomach,
Your chest,
Your arms and shoulders,
And we're gonna keep traveling up the neck,
And send the white light into the head,
And now just for a moment,
Feel how this light is filling up your whole body,
Making you feel warm and relaxed,
Peaceful.
And when you're ready,
You're gonna send the white light further up through the top of your head,
Up into the skies,
And once again,
Just feel,
Now you've created this strong connection with the earth beneath you,
And the skies above you,
And now we're gonna imagine this white light coming down from the skies,
Entering at the top of our head,
Flushing down through our body,
All the way down into our legs,
Feet,
And out the sole of our feet and into the earth again.
This white light coming from the skies is cleansing you,
Relaxes you more and more.
I want you to stay with that feeling for as long as you need to,
And once you're ready,
You can start to move your shoulders,
Arms and legs,
Take a big deep breath in and out,
And come back to the moment here and now.
