I enjoyed this, though my brain was a bit confused for a good chunk of the beginning. π No dings on the practice itself; it's just that the background music selected for this practice (very complementary to it, I might add π) is the same background music used in some of my favorite and regularly used sleep meditative practices. My mind wanted to both hear the affirmations and drift off to sleep at the same time, which made my choice to listen to this upon awakening after a shorter-than-normal night of sleep even more of a twist to the mix. π
Soothing voice, spoken with soft but clear authority. Great affirmations as well, and I deeply appreciate the support of personal agency implicit behind them all. (Though I do wonder if "alchemize" could be changed up here and there in the future - maybe use "transmute" or "convert" or "transform" or "change" instead in some instances? "Alchemize" is an unusual enough word in daily speech that it really stands out with frequent repetition and got slightly distracting.)
I'm bookmarking and saving this one in one of my Playlists. I'm just not sure if I'll try it out as a sleep track since the background is already primed for that in my mind, or if I'll try it in full daylight in my morning practice as a wonderful way to set my state of mind towards being in my own power as I move into my day. Whether I do it that way or at night where it will reinforce my ability to handle and resolve the day's adventures now over, I am grateful that you shared this track with us here.
I see you and the light within you. Be well. π€²π»ππ€²π»
