Find a comfortable position,

Take a slow breath in through your nose and let it go with a soft audible sigh through your mouth.

Breathe in and sigh it all out.
Let your jaw soften.
Let your shoulders drop.
One more time,
Breathe in deeply and release.
On this exhale,
Give yourself permission to let go.
Bring your awareness to your body,
Not to fix anything,
Just to notice.
Is there somewhere you've been holding on?
A tightness in your chest,
A heaviness in your belly,
A tension you've carried so long you've forgotten it's even there.
You don't need to name it.
You don't need to understand it.
You only need to acknowledge it and know that it's not who you are.
You are not your wounds.
You are not your history.
You're not the weight you've been carrying.
Imagine now a warm golden light gathering just above the crown of your head.
This is not just your light.
It's the energy of something far greater than you,
Flowing in with love,
With grace,
With perfect knowing.
With each breath in,
Feel this light slowly moving through you,
Down through your head,
Your throat,
Your chest,
Your belly,
Your hips,
All the way to the soles of your feet.
And with each breath out,
That old energy begins to loosen,
Like sediment lifting from still water,
Like leaves releasing from a branch.
The pain that lived here,
It served a purpose once.
It protected you.
It taught you.
And now,
Gently,
You are saying,
Thank you,
And I release you.
Breathe in the light.
Breathe out what no longer belongs to you.
Feel how much space is opening inside you.
This is not emptiness.
This is freedom.
This is the truest version of you beginning to breathe.
You're not starting over.
You're starting from a new place.
You're someone who has chosen to be free.
And that person,
The one emerging right now,
They're whole.
They're ready.
They have always been here.
