This song is about deep love and loss. a mantra of sorts for me to heal and work with the pain of losing something/someone very near and dear to the heart. a one-of-one being in the universe - transformed from pain, into love, into music.

Ahhh Lily was beautiful. Such a lovely tribute to her. I asked a friend to write a song for me when I lost my soul-kitty Scrunt in 1993 but he couldn’t do it. No words could ever express my shattered heart when I lost my soul- dog, Cameo. Now I’ve lost my other soul kitty Snoopy and my heart is still broken. 💔but we do go on, don’t we?
