There is a moment in the morning before anything is asked of you. Before the day gathers your attention, and before you begin responding to everything that will soon reach you, there is a threshold where you can simply exist. In this meditation, you are invited to pause right there. Rather than forcing yourself into a calm state or trying to outrun a racing mind, this practice guides you to notice how quickly your attention moves outward... and gently, without force, to gather yourself back into your own skin. Through a slow, receptive breath, you are led into a quieter place within your own presence where things begin to feel more spacious and settled. This is a return to your own center, letting the breath become a soft place to land so you can begin your day from a deeply connected space before anything else is required of you. You are allowed to arrive exactly as you are for this new day.
