Good morning.
This is Holly,
And I'm so glad you're here waking up with me today.
Let's begin your day with gratitude.
You can begin by sitting upright or laying down if that feels better for you,
Creating a little energy in your body.
Gently stretch to wake up the body and the mind.
Bringing a little movement to your fingers and into your hands.
Allowing movement in your toes up to your ankles.
You can bring your hands to rest in your lap or by your side with palms toward the sky,
Open and ready to receive the abundance of this day.
And if you haven't already,
Go ahead and soften your gaze,
Or if you prefer,
Gently close your eyes.
As you settle into this moment,
Allow the fog of early morning to gently lift.
Allow my words to guide you.
As you allow your body to find a little more movement here or there.
With each breath and every word,
Your mind and body grow more awake,
More alive,
More present.
Beginning your day with gratitude cultivates an attitude of abundance that flows throughout your entire day.
Letting your creativity guide you,
Go ahead and see before you five things that you're grateful for this morning.
They can be anything.
Your favorite person.
Beloved pet.
Even your breath in whatever way it moves in and moves out.
Take a moment and sit with them and savor each one.
Gently imagine holding what you're grateful for close to your heart and feel the warmth expand from within.
Soft radiant glow that spreads outwards.
And fills your being from head to toe.
Whenever you're ready,
You can begin to gently refocus your gaze or open your eyes,
Feeling alert and refreshed.
Give yourself a good stretch and welcome this new day fully into your body and mind.
Thank you for practicing with me today.
I'm Holly.
If you enjoyed this brief meditation,
Remember to save it so you can practice with me again each morning.
