Prayer to Saint Michael.
Saint Michael,
The Archangel,
Defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him,
We humbly pray.
And do thou,
O Prince of the Heavenly Hosts,
By the power of God,
Thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Glorious Chief and Champion of the Heavenly Hosts,
Guardian of the souls of men,
Conqueror of the rebel angels,
Steward of the Palace of God under Jesus Christ our worthy Leader,
Endowed with superhuman excellence and virtue,
Vouchsafe to free us all from every ill who with full confidence have recourse to thee.
Obtain for us the favour we ask in this novena,
And by thy protection enable us to make progress every day in the faithful service of our God.

O God,
The Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
We call upon your holy name,
And as supplicants we implore your clemency,
That by the intercession of Mary,
Ever Virgin Immaculate,
And our Mother,
And of the glorious Saint Michael,
The Archangel,
You would deign to help us against Satan and all the other unclean spirits who wander about the world for the injury of the human race and the ruin of souls.

Glorious Prince,
Chief and Champion of the Heavenly Hosts,
Guardian of the souls of men,
Conqueror of the rebel angels,
Steward of the Palace of God under Jesus Christ,
Our worthy leader,
Endowed with superhuman excellence and virtue,
Grant to free us all from every ill who with full confidence have recourse to you,
And by your incomparable protection enable us to make progress every day in the faithful service of our God.
Saint Michael the Archangel,
Invincible Prince of the Angelic Hosts,
And Glorious Protector of the Universal Church,
I greet thee and praise thee for that splendor with which God has adorned thee so richly.
I thank God for the great graces he has bestowed upon thee,
Especially to remain faithful when Lucifer and his followers rebelled,
And to battle victoriously for the honour of God and the divinity of the Son of Man.
Saint Michael,
I consecrate to thee my soul and body.
I choose thee as my patron and protector and entrust the salvation of my soul to thy care.
Be the guardian of my obligation as a child of God and of the Catholic Church as again I renounce Satan,
His work and pomps.
Assist me by thy powerful intercession in the fulfilment of these sacred promises,
So that imitating thy courage and loyalty to God and entrusting thy kind help and protection,
I may be victorious over the enemies of my soul and be united with God in heaven forever.

Who did render blessed Michael,
Your archangel,
Victorious over the proud Lucifer and all the wicked spirits,
We implore you that combating under the cross and ever adopting his motto,
Who is like God,
We may be victorious over all our enemies and delivered from all impediments.
Regulate our lives according to your will and commandments through Jesus Christ,
Our Lord.

Come to the assistance of his followers against whom the powers of hell are unchained.

Help us achieve the happiness of beholding God face to face for all eternity.

Obtain for me a favourable outcome in the matter,
I recommend to you.
Mighty Prince of the heavenly hosts and victor over rebellious spirits,
Remember me for I am weak and sinful and also prone to pride and ambition.

I ask my powerful aid in temptation and cruelty and above all do not forsake me in my time of struggle with the powers of evil.
