Welcome to my Therapeutic Sounds music series. The intention of this series is to inform, introduce, and celebrate a host of classical, contemporary, and traditional sounds that have become well-loved in the fields of sound therapy and sound healing. The RAV drum is an offshoot of the original hand pan drum but is classified as a steel tongue drum. Made by Andrey Remyannikov in Russia, the RAV Drum has become one of my favorite new instruments to play. At once uplifting, peaceful, enchanting, and meditative. You will see me bringing my RAV drum out more and more as I get to know it. This track can be used for enjoyment, healing, creative writing, yoga, mood-lifting or getting into the flow state as well as many other ideas. Let me know your favorite way you like to use it!
