Transcript

Let's begin by getting comfortable.

Close your eyes,

Relax and take a big deep breath.

As you breathe,

Feel the tension in your neck,

Shoulders and body begin to let go.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Imagine yourself in your favourite place in nature.

Feel the energy of where you are and take note of all of the sensations and feelings around you.

Perhaps the sun is shining on your face,

The wind blowing gently.

Feel the warmth or the cold,

Take note of every feeling,

Every sensation.

What do you see,

What do you hear,

What do you smell and what can you feel?

Now as you see yourself there,

Connect with the energy of your heart.

Feel the warmth within your chest,

Bring your awareness to this energy in the centre of your chest and connect deeply with it.

See this heart energy slowly moving down your body,

Down through your legs,

Knees,

Calves and out of the base of your feet like roots.

These roots making their way into the ground and the earth below you,

Connecting you to the beautiful,

Calm and stable energy of the earth.

Your roots firmly grounding and anchoring you in,

Feel their strength,

Feel their support.

Slowly and gently begin to draw energy up from the earth.

Draw this up through the roots,

Into your feet,

Your legs and your body.

This energy gently moving through your body,

Through all muscles,

Tendons,

Bones,

Relaxing you,

Holding you and supporting you.

Bring your awareness back to your heart here in your physical body,

Feel the warmth in the centre of your chest,

Feel the love and the connection that exists there.

You are now firmly grounded,

Supported and connected to the earth.

Take some time to sit in this energy if you like,

Take some deep breaths and relax.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.
