Welcome to this moment of grounding.
Whether you are at the top of your day.
Somewhere in the middle of your day or perhaps you are creating the container to wash the day away.
I'm so grateful that you are here.
Taking the moment to come back home to yourself.
I invite you to position yourself for maximum comfort.
Knowing that nothing else matters but this present moment of coming home to yourself.
Begin to connect with your breath.
Maybe you notice the rise and the fall of your chest or your belly as it expands like a balloon.
Breathe at a normal pace.
One that offers your body permission to soften.
It's through that softening that we are reminded that we are safe.
And that is coming home to ourselves.
Maybe you notice the temperature or the texture of the air.
As it passes through your nose or maybe even your lips.
Notice the muscles in your face begin to soften.
Your jaws begin to unclench a bit more.
Notice that space between your shoulders and your ears grow a bit larger with your next breath out.
As you give your body permission to rest,
Just for this brief moment,
You are not only affirming that you are safe.
But you are affirming that everything you need,
Every answer you're looking for is within yourself.
And taking this moment to come home to yourself grants you the opportunity for spaciousness,
To hear,
To see,
To sense the clarity.
That you're seeking.
You And so I invite you now to shift your awareness within your physical body.
And I want you to locate your center.
Otherwise known as the seat of your home.
This is your internal point of safety.
And this is where you come to observe everything else without attachment.
And without judgment.
And so we are going to take this practice.
To observe all that's floating around us,
Within us,
And through us.
Without attaching to it or judging it.
So now I invite you to notice the sounds outside of your physical body.
You're just observing them,
Not attaching to what's going on or who's doing the sound.
Just notice what you hear.
Remain rooted in that connection to your breath.
It anchors you into your center.
And now I want you to notice.
The textures that are touching your skin.
Maybe you can feel the air as it grazes the hairs along your skin.
Maybe you notice the sensation of the fabrics that you're wearing.
Perhaps you notice that connection point.
Between your physical vessel.
And the seat,
The bed,
The ground,
The floor that's holding you gently in this moment.
Give yourself permission to root down just a bit further into this moment of safety.
Releasing any tension you notice in your arms.
Your abdominal area,
Maybe even your lower belly.
You Perhaps your next breath out you allow your back muscles to soften just a bit more.
Allow your sit bones,
Your hips,
Your legs to grow a bit more weighted.
Allowing the tension to wash away in this moment.
You are worthy of rest.
You're worthy of this moment of coming home to yourself.
And as we root down just a bit further into our center,
Our home.
I want you to notice the thoughts.
Thoughts of your mind that might be passing by like cars on a freeway.
Or maybe you notice them as leaves.
Floating along the riverbank.
We are observing them without attaching.
Just noticing what's present with us.
Maybe you begin to notice patterns.
Emotions that are rising and falling.
Maybe you'd even locate where they are living in your body.
Again,
Without attachment or judgment,
Simply awareness.
And on your next breath in,
I want you to take a very deep,
Intentional breath,
Allowing your belly to expand like a balloon.
Allowing that air to travel up and into your lungs,
Your chest,
Your throat.
Let's hold it there for just a moment.
Allowing the remainder of the tension to release from your body.
And when you're ready,
I invite you to slowly release that air like you are blowing through a straw.
And notice your body become fully relaxed in this moment.
Notice yourself.
Completely at home with you.
And as we begin to wrap up this mindful moment,
I want you to ask yourself,
What will support my next moment?
Whatever answer rises,
Allow that to be your truth and allow that to support you in the very next step.
That could be a male.
Water.
A hot shower or bath.
A gentle walk.
Or movement of the body.
Some breath work or journaling.
Maybe dancing.
Painting,
Cooking.
Or co-regulation with a trusted friend.
Partner,
Colleague.
You know what you need,
What you desire.
And I trust that this moment of coming back to yourself allowed you to hear.
To release to surrender to the moment.
If you are settling in for the night,
Perhaps you will remain.
In your restful position.
And if not,
I invite you to.
.
.
Begin to come back into your environment,
Maybe by noticing the sounds around your physical body.
Bringing some gentle movement into your physical vessel.
And sending gratitude to yourself for choosing this moment of practice.
I invite you to return here with me anytime you need or desire a moment of pause and a moment to come back home to yourself.
I send you love.
I wish you wholeness.
And I look forward to sharing this space with you again.
