Sound Bath Sessions 273: Se-Yuen Wong
Se-yuen played her metal singing bowls for both of her sessions. Her style is slow, repeating the same sequences in a mesmerizing composition. She intimately knows her bowls and plays with the harmonics and their unique modulations that can be found between them. She plays slowly to make sure we can hear every nuance of every hit. She filled a bowl with water and added some trickling water sounds with her hand which was a nice touch. Clarice played along with soft natural sounds of seed shakers to balance the droning metal bowls.
