Welcome to this guided meditation with me Gail from Sober Bliss.
For the next 20 minutes or so you are going to use the power of affirmation to gently shift your mindset and help you to see what a wonderful,
Amazing,
Strong and beautiful person you are.
We are going to reframe your thoughts and set you up so you begin to experience more positivity,
Joy and happiness in your new alcohol free life through the power of positive affirmations.
We are what we think,
All that we are arises with our thoughts.
With our thoughts we make the world.
I love this quote by Buddha because it demonstrates just how powerful our minds are.
So often we get stuck focusing on the things we don't want,
Can't have or can't do.
When we focus on the negative,
Unfortunately we feel and experience negative things.
But when we switch things up and repeat positive messages to ourselves,
Things really do begin to change.
Affirmations are like planting seeds in our subconscious.
First they germinate,
Then the roots begin to sprout and then they poke their tender little shoots up through the surface.
Before long you have a fully grown plant,
Full of strength,
Beauty and possibility.
This is you.
In a moment I am going to repeat some positive powerful affirmations that will help to reframe your thoughts.
But first we are going to get really comfortable and relaxed so please don't listen to this meditation while driving or operating machinery.
Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down,
Relax,
Surrender to the experience and let your mind absorb the powerful messages coming your way.
Close your eyes,
Take a deep breath in,
Release and bring your attention to your heart center.
Breathe in to the count of four,
Hold to the count of four and release to the count of four.
And another breath in to the count of four,
Holding to the count of four and breathe out to the count of four.
One more time,
A deep breath in,
Holding and releasing all to the count of four and allow your body to calm.
Begin now breathing deeply and easily and with every out breath release any tension from your body.
Every time you breathe out feel yourself relaxing deeper,
Feel your muscles soften as you sink deeper and deeper into a blissful state of relaxation.
Relaxation in,
Tension out,
Let your bones feel heavy as all your doubts,
Worries and concerns just melt away.
Now I want you to come back to zero from ten and with every count allow yourself to drift off to a place of safety,
Support,
Love and complete relaxation.
.
Allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm,
Let go of the stories of the past and focus on the words that are coming to you now.
Allow the messages to sink in and repeat them with me either out loud or in your head.
Really connect to the feelings that these words bring.
I am becoming the best version of myself.
I forgive myself and set myself free.
A sober life is full of joy,
Balance and success.
I deserve this.
I am grateful to be in sobriety and recovering from my addiction.
I can and will succeed in all I do.
I am proud of who I am and all I have overcome.
The power to live a sober life is within me.
I am in complete control of my thoughts,
Feelings and actions.
I am strong,
Resilient,
Brave and capable.
This is my time.
Every day I am growing stronger and improving.
I am deserving of love and support.
