The Divine Presence meditations are to cultivate a sense of stillness and presence within.
A journey back home.
To our essential self,
Our natural state of well-being.
Peace,
Joy,
Love.
That we all Have with us.
And all can.
Access.
And these meditations have been running for the last few years,
Every week.
Almost every week.
I'm grateful to be facilitating this.
With you.
As we welcome them.
Our great friends.
Who join us regularly.
Soleyman,
Welcome.
Nice to see you back.
Donna,
Welcome.
And so grateful to be in this space with you.
To return ourselves back home.
To the divine presence that is pervading and permeating.
Every breath we take.
Whether we're present or not.
The infinite is always there for us.
But our conscious intentional presence reconnects us back home to the infinite source of life.
That is continuously and consistently holding space for us at every moment of life.
And all it takes is one conscious breath.
So we use the breath.
And the body to anchor ourselves back home.
Excuse me.
And of course.
.
.
With it.
We carry our human limitations.
Thank you.
So generally I don't sneeze during the meditation,
But if it happens,
It happens.
It's involuntary,
So.
Thank you.
Thank you,
Igor Donovan.
Thank you.
All right,
So let's begin to,
Before we begin,
Please as much as possible remove distractions such as mobile phones or to turn it off,
To put it on silence.
Um.
.
.
And.
.
.
So that we don't have as much distraction.
But if distractions do arise during a meditation,
Please welcome them.
So let's begin.
So gently bringing your attention onto the breath,
Whether you're seated,
Lying down,
So it's just making yourself comfortable.
And gently bringing your attention onto your breathing,
Just noticing the sensation of the breath.
As you're breathing,
Notice the coolness of the air as it flows into the nostrils.
Paying attention to the breath brings you.
.
.
Into Presence.
A formless breath.
That is always with you,
With us,
At every moment.
So gently bringing your attention.
Onto the breath and noticing the sensation of the breath as you breathe in and breathe out.
Notice the coolness as it flows into the nostrils and the warmth as it flows out.
And gently allowing that attention to rest.
In the body.
On the body.
Following the breath into the body,
Noticing the gentle movement of the breath through the body,
The gentle rising and falling of the chest and belly.
The gentle rising and falling of the chest and belly as you breathe in and breathe out.
Notice that.
The gentle movements,
The subtle movement of the breath.
And expanding your presence.
Into your arms.
Feeling the weight of the arms rested.
Wherever it's rested.
Whether it's on the armchair,
On your lap.
Or wherever it is.
Feel it,
Feel the arms rested.
Feel the hands,
Fingers.
Notice any sensations around the palms of your hands.
Any tingling,
Any throbbing,
Any.
.
.
Subtle vibrations around your fingers and palm,
Back of the hand,
Wrist.
Arms.
Expanding your presence into your shoulders and back.
Notice any pressures.
Any tensions.
Softening the body while allowing it to be.
Letting go.
Allowing the body to be still.
And expanding your presence into the lower part of the body towards the tailbone and groin area and expanding your presence into that area.
Expanding into every cell,
Every atom.
Sensing.
Allowing.
Bleh.
Expanding into your thighs.
Knees,
Calves.
And as you do notice any sensations.
Notice any pressures.
Notice any comfort or discomfort.
Pain,
Pleasure,
Anything.
It matters not.
What it is,
As long as you allow it to be.
Whether it's pleasant or unpleasant,
Just letting it be as it is.
Letting everything be as it is,
Letting go.
Letting go of resistance.
As you align and tune into the present moment.
As you align with the truth of this moment allowing reality.
To unfold.
And letting your presence to pervade and permeate every cell and every atom as you move towards your feet and toes.
And sensing this moment.
In whatever shape or form it takes.
Noticing any emotions arising and passing.
Noticing.
Any thoughts?
Arising,
Passing,
Coming and going.
Coming and going.
And so let your presence to pervade this moment.
Completely embodied from head to toe.
Notice sensations around your face.
Nick Job.
Relaxing,
Letting go.
Tuning into this moment.
Allow your attention to rest on your eyes and forehead and scalp.
Noticing any sensation.
Pressures.
On the surface of the skin and deeper within.
Scanning towards the back of the neck.
Back of the head.
And just expand your presence to pervade every cell and every atom throughout the body from head to toe.
Resting within,
Resting in.
Within the body.
And allowing your body to be.
Feeling the sense of ease and peace that arises at the depth of your being by being with the body and breath.
The body and the breath,
The temple that you carry with you everywhere.
Your temple.
That you can enter anytime,
Anywhere,
No matter where you are,
What you're doing.
The sacred temple.
That connects you back home.
To the infinite source of life.
That is always there for you at every moment of life.
The divine presence that is always there for you.
With every breath at every moment.
To allow to align,
To surrender to this moment.
With the breath and body.
And allow it to be as it is.
Allow thoughts,
Emotions,
Sensations,
Pain,
Pleasure to come and go in your presence.
And in the presence of the infinite source of life that allows life to be.
So we mirror back.
Life.
As life allows life to unfold.
Our presence allows life to unfold.
In whatever shape or form it takes.
To mirror the universe,
To mirror life.
And rest in presence.
To rest in God.
The infinite source of life.
No mind-made creation or belief system can capture that infinite light that pervades and permeates all time and space beyond birth and death,
Beyond arising and passing.
The cradle of life.
And feel that loving presence that is the innate nature of that light,
That infinite presence.
Allowing you to be as you are at this moment and at any moment.
And surrender the mind into that space,
The mind.
That seeks or avoids.
Surrender the mind.
Surrender the body.
Surrender this moment into that space.
That infinite space,
That loving space.
That loving space.
Returning ourselves to that natural state of ease and peace and love which is all of us,
All of us.
There,
That sense of ease.
Peace and connection with all of life with each other,
With ourselves,
With others,
With nature,
With.
.
.
Planet.
The earth,
The sky,
The oceans.
That deep sense of connection with life.
Becomes apparent.
Reveals itself within you.
Not because you believe in something or you don't believe in something but because Your stillness allows you to reconnect with the essence of life.
There's nothing to believe in or not believe in here.
You let go of the mind,
You let go of belief systems.
And return home.
To presence.
To stillness.
To peace.
To love.
Connection.
To wholeness.
All of which is who you truly are.
Return home.
And know that you have access to this at any time and anywhere.
And all it takes is one.
Conscious breath.
To gently return to the breath and body again.
To return to presence,
To return to love.
That infinite space,
That loving space that is always there for you.
Has always been and will always be there for you.
No matter what situation you find yourself,
No matter what you've done or haven't done,
No matter who you are or who you are not.
That infinite loving space.
Is always there for you.
Awaiting your presence.
And only your presence has access to that space.
To gently return yourself to the breath and body to this moment,
To notice whatever is as it is.
To surrender into this moment.
To allow this moment.
To align with this moment.
To work with this moment.
To work with reality.
Not against it.
To work with life,
Not against life.
To let go of all resistance to life.
To let go of the mind's constant seeking of pleasure and pleasure.
Avoidance of pain,
And simply embracing whatever shape or form life takes at every moment.
To bring that loving.
Healing energy into every space,
At every place,
At every moment.
Let it flood your body from head to toe.
Let it flood your heart,
Your mind.
Let it flood every cell and every atom.
Let it flood every space,
Every place,
Every breath,
Every moment.
This space where the mind cannot touch.
But you can,
Your presence,
Your simple presence allows you to return home.
And recognize a realm beyond the mind.
Beyond thought,
Beyond belief.
A realm.
Timeless infinite Spacious.
Loving.
Kind.
A space that allows you to recognize that nothing else is needed but this moment.
Nothing else is needed.
But this moment.
Nothing else is needed but God.
The Infinite,
The Source of all things.
Nothing is needed but God that is always with you at every moment,
With every breath.
So feel that love.
Pervading every breath you take.
Every cell.
Rest in presence.
Resist nothing.
And know that you have access to this at any time.
At anywhere.
So gently return yourself home again and again with every breath.
In every situation.
Whether you're by yourself or with others,
Working,
Resting.
Sitting,
Walking,
Sleeping,
Returning yourself home.
And feeling that depth of peace and ease and love.
That is always there for you.
For all of us.
So allow your presence to pervade every breath and every cell and every atom of your body throughout the rest of your day and night and week,
Rest of life.
To always be so close to the infinite.
To always be so close to God with every breath.
At every moment.
To be so embodied.
So present.
And so close.
To the Divine.
At every moment to be guided.
To be nourished.
To be held.
At every moment of life.
To feel that deep love that is always there for you at every moment.
Ever present,
Infinite.
And let it carry you into every moment.
Let it carry you into life at every moment,
Moment by moment.
Letting go of the mind.
And using the mind.
Times where it's required but not being done.
Carried away by the mind.
Your presence dominates your presence.
Is in the foreground and thought in the background.
You notice thoughts coming and going.
Much of which are useless,
Repetitive thoughts.
And you notice with loving presence,
Not with criticism or judgment or resistance,
But just with loving presence,
Thoughts come and go.
You accept the insanity of the human mind that we all carry with us,
Each and every one of us,
The insane mind.
And yet you hold it in loving presence.
Loving presence,
Loving presence.
And all judgment begins to fade.
Judgments of self other situations.
As we continue to align.
With truth,
Which is whatever is.
Divine will.
Which is whatever is.
Reality which is what there is,
Nothing else but what is,
Aligning with this moment again and again.
And working with life,
Not against it.
And so you bring peace into every moment.
And so you bring peace into your relationships,
Your conversations,
Your interactions with others,
With nature,
With life.
Not because you're trying anything,
But because that is your natural state.
Natural state.
No real achievement other than embracing this moment.
So there's no pride or ownership,
But simply letting go of the ego,
Of the mind,
And simply allowing yourself to be nourished by life again.
By aligning and surrendering into every moment.
Allowing your natural state of peace to arise.
Effortless.
There is no effort in surrender,
For surrender is simply aligning with what is.
And working with it.
And all actions that arise from a place of presence are in alignment with truth,
With reality,
With the well-being of yourself,
With others,
With life.
So continue.
The practice of presence.
And this practice that brings kindness into every moment.
That observes all phenomena with kindness.
Whole phenomenon.
The agony,
The ecstasy,
The pain,
The pleasure.
The dark thoughts,
The joys and pleasures coming and going,
All phenomena rising and passing.
And there you are in presence,
In loving presence.
Constant presence,
Constant presence.
The innate nature of that presence is loving presence.
Loving presence is the natural state of who you are.
When you let go and return home.
.
.
We all have access to that.
And requires nothing of this world.
For nothing of this world can bring and take away.
Your loving presence.
Where it comes from an infinite place.
Unconditioned,
Unconditional.
Ever present.
And independent.
Of the circumstances of life.
In its form.
Or form is imperfect.
And loving presence is able to hold space for that imperfection.
For loving presence is that perfection that allows imperfection to be.
And so you unite.
All aspects of creation.
Collapsed in this moment.
You recognize the perfection of every moment.
Through loving presence.
And there's no need to try to make sense of that intellectually because it will not make sense to the mind,
But it makes sense to your presence.
Your essential self.
So continue to practice presence into every moment by bringing attention gently back home.
To this moment,
To the breath,
To the body,
Inhabiting the body,
Getting into the habit of inhabiting the body by being with your breath and body continuously,
Recognizing the power of this practice.
Recognising that this is primary and everything else is secondary.
Everything else becomes secondary when you make presence your primary practice.
The most important practice of life.
But to recognize it.
Within you,
Not because I say it,
But because you recognize it.
At the depth of your being.
And the commitment comes from the depth of your being that this is the most important practice of life.
The most essential part of.
Life.
To gently return home.
So that from there you can interact.
And engage.
With life in whatever shape or form it takes.
