Let's begin by taking a deep inhale through the nose and releasing it audibly through the mouth.

Begin to surrender all the tension that you've accumulated throughout the day.

Tension in your thoughts and tension in the body.

Allow it to melt away as best you can.

Imagine you are on vacation.

You're lying on the beach.

And there's absolutely nothing to worry about.

You're warm.

There's nowhere to be.

You could drift off,

But it's not important.

It's okay as well just to lie and relax on the beach.

Any perceived wants,

Coulds,

Shoulds gently start to drift away.

Judgments,

Expectations,

Concepts,

Knowledge,

Opinions are all released.

You're not really doing anything at all.

You just stop doing everything except observing and noticing.

But observing is not even something you need to do because the observer is present all the time anyways.

You begin to open to the clear sky of awareness that is present beyond your thoughts.

So while things may come up in the mind,

They are noticed with the ease of witnessing clouds floating through the summer sky.

This open awareness is not something you create.

It just arises naturally when you allow yourself to become open,

Unhurried,

Receptive.

We're now going to take our awareness into our body.

Doing so will allow us to more deeply relax and more deeply connect with our true essence.

We begin with the hands.

We begin with the right hand.

Just rest your awareness on each body part as it's named.

Thumb,

Index,

Middle finger,

Ring,

Little finger,

Pinky finger.

Become aware of the space between the fingers.

Notice the tactile sensation of the palm of the hand.

Notice the back of the hand.

Feel the whole hand.

There may be a tingling,

A warmth.

Imagine your hand dissolving into the surrounding space.

On the left hand,

Notice the thumb,

Index,

Middle,

Ring,

And pinky fingers.

Notice the space between them.

Bring your awareness to the palm of the hand,

The back of the hand,

And the whole hand.

Feel both hands simultaneously.

Now feeling both arms together,

Bring your attention to your wrists,

Forearms,

Upper arms.

Imagine a golden liquid being poured over your arms.

Allow any sensations to express themselves,

To unfold completely.

You are there as the allowing.

Bring your awareness to both shoulders and allow them to melt into your mattress.

Allow your arms to fall away as if they don't belong to you.

Bring awareness to the right foot.

Bring awareness to your right toes,

The sole of your foot,

The top of your foot,

The whole foot.

Imagine it dissolving into the surrounding space.

Now your left foot.

Bring awareness to the toes,

The sole of the foot,

The top of the foot,

Now the whole foot.

Now,

Feel both legs together,

The ankles,

Calves,

Knees,

Thighs,

Hips.

Now the whole leg,

Now both legs.

Imagine a golden liquid being poured over your legs.

Now bring your attention to your lower back.

Allow it to radiate and spread across your mattress.

Now your upper back.

Allow it to melt and blend with the mattress.

Now bring your attention to your chest and face.

Imagine they're covered with a thick layer of wax that holds all the tension there.

Then the wax is melting and as it melts,

All your tension is released.

Notice the gentle feeling of gratitude and joy that naturally arises as you release your tension.

Feel this.

Now bring awareness to your whole body.

Notice how the same energy pervades your entire body.

Notice how the borders between the surrounding space and the felt sensation of your body are fuzzy.

Remember to say where the space ends and where the feeling of your body begins.

Now imagine that you are offering your body to the space in deep surrender.

Allowing your body to dissolve as if it were sugar in water.

And as you release into the space,

Feel your energy expanding,

Filling your room and moving beyond the borders of your room out to infinity.

Now,

Remember to say where the space ends and where the feeling of your body begins.

Now,

Remember to say where the space ends and where the feeling of your body begins.

Now,

Remember to say where the space ends and where the feeling of your body begins.

Now,

Remember to say where the space ends and where the feeling of your body begins.

Now,

Remember to say where the space ends and where the feeling of your body begins.

Now,

Remember to say where the space ends and where the feeling of your body begins.
