Everything in your world is energy,
Including your heart's greatest desires.
When we think about what we want to manifest,
We think about something,
Most of the time,
And most likely,
That's not already present in our lives.
And if we think about it from that perspective,
It feels that we're actually energetically pulling ourselves further away from it,
Because we're reminding ourselves that we don't yet feel the way we want to feel.
But gratitude does the opposite.
It helps us feel good now,
Which raises our vibration so that we're an energetic match to the thing that we want to manifest.
Because ultimately,
If we don't feel good in the present,
No matter how wonderful the things we manifest in the future are,
They won't change how we feel at the core level.
Nothing in the outer world can make you feel the way you want to feel.
All of your power is how you feel internally.
And it's very ironic that so often we chase something in the outer world,
Thinking that that will bring us the feelings we want to experience,
When it's actually feeling the way first that we want to feel that will then bring that manifestation,
That physical manifestation,
To us.
So I know it doesn't always feel this way to our egos,
Where if we practice gratitude,
We're actually getting closer to our heart's desires.
Usually it feels like taking more action will get us closer to what we want.
But action,
When it comes from a place of lack or scarcity within,
Does more harm than good.
And when we focus on gratitude,
We get ourselves in a beautiful energetic state,
So then we can take divinely inspired action,
Where we're not moving from fear,
We're moving from peace.
And when we feel good internally,
Then the actions it takes to manifest what we desire becomes fun,
It feels easy,
Even if it requires hard work,
There's this feeling of flow involved,
And ultimately you realize it's much easier to attract and manifest these things than you may have previously thought because you were born to have them.
That desire exists within you for a reason.
It's not random.
And it's because you have all the necessary gifts,
Knowledge,
And wisdom to manifest it.
And then,
Of course,
If you don't want to focus too much on manifesting anything specific and you already feel very happy with your life,
Very at peace,
It never hurts to practice gratitude more to expand and grow those good feelings because there's no limit to the goodness that we can receive within.
And the universe loves us infinitely,
So there's never a reason not to receive that love.
So let's start with our eyes closed and make sure you're seated in a comfortable seated position and take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
And one last time together.
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
And now continue breathing in your own rhythm and timing and just stretch those breaths a little bit so they're a little bit longer than your typical breathing and that'll get us into a more relaxed state.
And as you continue focusing on your own breathing in your own rhythm and time,
I'll occasionally say some words and also return to stillness and silence.
If it helps,
You can place your hand on your heart,
Which focuses your attention there.
And most of us,
Most of the time,
Predominantly live in the head.
So when we place our hands on our heart and set the intention to focus on our heart,
You'll notice your sense of self begins to go downwards and you can visualize yourself going down an elevator where you're temporarily leaving the mind and existing primarily at your heart.
And although we've set the intention for this meditation,
Which is gratitude,
We have no goal here,
No expectation of what's going to happen at the end of this meditation.
For this short period of time,
You are completely open to what wants to happen.
And you can just temporarily put aside your responsibilities and your worries.
You've already made the decision to set this time out for yourself and you can be fully present and enjoy it.
And those things will be waiting for you when you're finished,
So don't worry.
You won't lose them or forget them.
And the first thing we can appreciate is our breath.
It feels so good to breathe.
It gives us life.
It nurtures life.
It's also our body's intelligence in action.
We don't have to do anything to breathe.
Breathing happens on its own.
Gratitude also happens on its own.
We don't have to force ourselves to be grateful or make gratitude come from nothing.
Just like we naturally breathe without trying to,
We also become grateful without trying to.
Sometimes when our lives get busy,
We forget that it's a miracle to be alive.
It's a miracle to be a human,
To have this temporary human experience,
And to feel emotion,
Whether it's positive or negative.
All of it is incredibly rare and unique.
And the next thing I want you to appreciate is your personality,
Your energy,
Everything that makes you you.
Sometimes our minds can make us think that we have to grow,
We have to change,
We have to become someone.
But who you already are is so beautiful and perfect in its own imperfect way sometimes.
In the universe's eyes,
You are always perfect.
And of course,
We have things we can grow and change about ourselves.
It's great to have the will to become a more evolved,
Healthy person in many different aspects of life.
But two things can coexist at the same time.
You can love yourself unconditionally exactly as you are and see yourself through the same lens that the universe sees you as already perfect.
And also recognize that we are imperfect and we can continue to grow.
And for the purpose of this meditation,
We're focusing on appreciating the beauty of your energy,
The beauty that you already are,
Not the beauty that you will become or the potential you have that you hope to realize,
But who you are exactly at this present moment.
And now,
Tune into your heart.
Whatever it is that your heart most deeply desires,
Express gratitude to yourself that you have a desire that is that motivating to you.
To desire is to be alive.
And instead of believing that you need to satisfy the desire to manifest that thing as soon as possible,
Enjoy the feeling of wanting to pursue something,
Having something that excites you,
Something to look forward to in your future.
And when you're focused on your heart,
You can feel that there is no time.
It may not make sense to your ego or mind,
But your heart knows the truth that time is an illusion and everything that your heart desires already exists now at this present moment.
And it'll enter your life,
That's inevitable,
So you don't have to worry about whether or not it's coming.
Now we're just focusing on appreciating the desire as it is,
Knowing that we can be excited for its arrival in divine timing and that it already exists.
Next up,
It's time to be grateful for one particular person in your life,
Whoever they may be.
You may be very close with them or you may have just had a brief encounter with someone that had a lasting impact on you.
But either way,
Someone that is a light in your life or has been a light if it was a brief interaction,
Anything where you felt the warmth of love of someone else,
Where you felt seen,
Loved,
Heard,
And possibly inspired.
Feel the love in your heart grow and the gratitude knowing that this person exists in the world.
And now focus on gratitude for your environment,
Wherever you are.
Be grateful for the space that you're temporarily existing in right now.
We always are occupying space while being alive here as a human.
Space is potential.
Magical things can happen in the room you're in or wherever you are.
Space is where our life unfolds,
Where the stories play out.
And wherever you are,
If you hear something,
You can be grateful for your ability to hear for the variety of sounds that we experience in our life.
And notice how your body is feeling in the environment you're in.
We can be grateful for our ability to feel.
So this brings us to the end of our weekly meditation.
There are so many things to be grateful for.
If you look for them,
You will find them in every single moment of your life.
When we focus so much on what we look forward to have happen in our lives,
Or to come into our lives in the future,
It can be both very inspiring,
But also if we lean too far in that direction,
Prevent us from seeing the beauty of the gifts that are already here.
And it's very likely that a younger version of you would be so proud to see you living a life you're living already right now.
So as I mentioned before,
It's the same with gratitude.
We can be excited for growth,
For change,
For what's coming,
And at the same time,
Be in love with the life we're currently living.
It doesn't mean we're denying the things that we want to change,
But we're just appreciating it as it is,
While also knowing everything in life is changing all the time.
Two things happening at the same time.
Thank you.
