It's a road that many have walked before you and one that you will now experience uniquely and for yourself.
The focus of this meditation is to set positive intentions during your pregnancy.
Take a moment to find a quiet place to sit where you won't be interrupted.
We'll be sitting for some time so make any adjustments to ensure you are comfortable.
You may wish to use a cushion or a blanket for additional comfort.
I invite you to close your eyes if that feels natural or keep them open with a soft gaze.
Let your hands rest gently on your lap or by your sides.
In a moment we will start by taking three deep breaths.
I'll let you know when to start.
You are going to breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Breathing in for a count of four and breathing out for a count of six.
I will guide you.
Finish exhaling your current breath and we will begin now.

As you continue to breathe feel your body relaxing with each exhale.
Now let your breath return to its natural rhythm.
Feel your body soften with each exhale releasing tension like leaves falling gently from a tree.
Allow your jaw to release and your shoulders to drop.
You're here exactly as you are.
There's no need to be any different right now.
Imagine planting a seed in rich soil.
You may not see it sprout right away but you trust in its potential to grow.
This pregnancy is like that seed tiny and full of possibilities.
By setting your intentions today you are nourishing that seed with care and love giving it the best chance to flourish.
Think of intentions as guiding stars for your journey.
They light the path even on days when the road becomes rocky or feels uncertain.
Ask yourself what do I want to cultivate during this pregnancy?
It might be health,
Patience,
Connection or joy.
Picture these intentions as soft glowing orbs in your hands.
Hold them close knowing that they will guide you on your journey of pregnancy.
Let's affirm the intentions you are creating.
Silently or aloud repeat the following affirmations letting them settle deep within you like seeds planted in fertile soil.

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes and bring your awareness back to your surroundings.
