Life, at times, can be difficult and it often feels easier to deny, avoid, or fear the issue. What we resist persists. Acceptance is not about liking a situation, it is just recognition and acknowledging: this is how things are right now. It allows us to see opportunities. It is an agreement with ourselves to appreciate, validate, accept, and support who we are at this moment. It is an agreement to love ourselves, regardless of what else is happening in our life.
