Hello,

Welcome to our new meditation.

Today we will be focusing on something real important in our path,

The concept of forgiveness.

Not the idea of forgiving the other one,

But our own forgiveness.

The idea,

The belief that things could have gone differently.

My name is Larry Cole and I will be your guide in this journey.

Let's start by breathing deeply,

Followed by the mantra OM that connects us deeply with our divine essence,

I AM.

So let's breathe deeply and as you exhale,

Whisper the mantra OM,

Emptying your lungs completely.

Now I would like you to picture yourself entering a path in the woods,

Surrounded by nature,

Very tall and ancient trees that have been there for decades,

Even centuries.

Trees that have seen others like you walking through that path.

The beginning of this path starts this journey that reflects your life.

As you walk,

Memories from the past come to mind.

Memories that trigger emotions,

Happy memories,

Painful moments,

Certainties and confusion.

I would like you to put your right hand in your chest,

Right over your heart and let go of the memories and stay with the strongest of the emotions,

The one that connects you to those memories.

Feel with your hand,

Your heart beating and the emotion going through your chest all the way to your hand.

What is that emotion?

Give it a name,

It's a joy,

Pain,

Guilt,

Gratitude.

No matter what the emotion is,

Give it space,

Embrace it.

With your hands start caressing that emotion,

Feel love for her.

In this moment,

The most important thing is for that emotion to feel it.

Observe that emotion now,

Make the distinction between you and her.

You're giving her love and understanding as you would to a baby who has just been born and cries confused.

As you continue to walk in the woods,

Allow this emotion to walk next to you.

As you look at each other,

You both know that you're not the same.

You always be grateful for her,

You always give her to do attention and care.

If as you walk,

Another memory comes to mind,

Again bring to your heart the emotion that comes with it and with your hand caress it with your hands.

Breathe deeply,

Filling your body with even more energy.

Let that energy fill your heart so it helps you giving even more love to that emotion.

Now allow this new emotion to walk next to you in your journey.

As you travel together,

You and your emotions recognize that even though your path crossed in your life,

You and your emotions are not the same.

They were important in your journey,

But they are not your journey.

You still are the divine perfect energy that came to experience those emotions.

A curious soul distancing itself from the source without forgetting its origin.

Open a gentle smile and feel the pure joy,

The joy of someone who has just had a big insight.

The belief that your thoughts,

Your emotions and you were the same was just a big misunderstanding.

As your emotions walk next to you,

It becomes clear that the thought that things could have been different makes no sense,

Especially for a soul who came here to live experiences and emotions.

As you feel in your heart that you are neither your thoughts nor your emotions,

Forgive yourself for the confusion.

From now on,

As you feel a new emotion,

Remember to give it love,

Care.

Allow it to walk next to you.

In your journey,

There will be emotions that you're so keen to experience,

What you call today good or bad.

Start observing instead colors,

Like every emotion is a color,

Blue,

Green,

Red,

Blue.

Those are the colors that paint the path that we call life.

Still with a smile on your face,

Say goodbye to those emotions.

Not to get rid of them,

But to let them know how important they were,

How significant they were in your journey and that you will keep going after new colors and if possible,

The whole rainbow.

With the deepest of gratitude,

Say goodbye.

Breathe ever so gently and slowly start opening your eyes and integrate yet another emotion,

The one that came with this meditation and added to your rainbow.
