Hi my friend,
Arrive here slowly.
Maybe you'd like to lay down.
Do something that would help you feel more comfortable,
More supported.
More help.
Allow your eyes to feel heavy Take that first deep breath to settle in.
Inhale through your nose.
Exhale let it all go Maybe notice a buzzing,
A swirling.
Noticing how your body has been responding to the difficult season you are in for the first time maybe hold yourself here Allow yourself to feel.
Noticing what feelings are simply asking to be felt Breath in.
Breath out During times of darkness and difficulty,
We need ourselves more.
This is not a time for self-abandonment With every breath here,
Show yourself.
That you care remind yourself that you're here.
My friend,
Every storm eventually passes Can you feel this steady grounded energy within you?
You are rooted even when everything feels chaotic.
Really become aware of the parts of your body that are connected to the earth.
Your feet.
Your legs,
Your hips.
Maybe your back body.
Feel gravity pull you down.
Feel how earth is holding you You've made it through all of your difficult times.
All the very very challenging seasons in your life Let every breath you take remind you that you are making it.
You are navigating this better than you think.
Inhale Exhale be present here.
Can't you feel how in this very moment you are safe,
You are okay?
Open your heart to these words by Brianna Wiest.
One day the mountain that is in front of you will be so far behind you it will barely be visible in the distance.
The person you become learning to get over it will stay with you forever.
That is the point of the mountain.
The hard truth is that we are often softened and deepened by the moments life doesn't turn out the way we anticipated the way we hoped.
The way we planned.
The truth is that we learn more from what we do not receive than what we do.
The truth is that the contrasts make us more whole than we were before.
The heaviness sensitizes us in such a way that we come to comprehend the light.
The valleys in our lives can either be a waiting room,
A suffering,
Or a preparation period.
We get to choose what we do with the defeat We get to decide whether or not what hurts us will simply burden and then jade us or if it will catalyze us.
We will alchemize a sometimes brutal reality into an appreciation of our temporary,
Gorgeous,
Fleeting,
Surreal,
Confusing,
Perfect,
Chaotic,
Ecstatic time alive What ails us gives us a chance to better understand and empathize with what it really means to be human.
And though none of us will ever meet a day in which the pain is dissolved forever,
We can arrive at one where the ease arises more often.
Where we channel what hurts into what heals where we become more of who we intend to be and not less where we are not dissuaded by what has not gone our way,
But inspired by the spirit inside us still fighting,
Still nudging,
Still pushing us to realize there is so much more than this.
There is so much more to see What a gift it is to be here.
To experience this life wholeheartedly.
Breath in Let it all go.
Just sit here for a minute or so allow whatever stood out from those words to sink into your heart a little more.
One day the mountain that is in front of you will be so far behind you it will barely be visible in the distance what you are going through my friend is actually building you up not breaking you down.
Let it take time for you to see this.
Trust in the temporariness of this difficult time.
And hold yourself through it.
Steady breath in.
Deep breath in and out.
What is something you need to hear right now?
Tell yourself the comforting words that you long to hear.
If it feels right to you,
Wrap your arms around yourself.
Give yourself a squeeze,
A hug.
You will come out stronger.
You will be more resilient You will navigate this.
You are navigating this I'm sending you so much love and light.
Breathe it in.
Let it all go.
Take your sweet time to find some intuitive movement in the body.
Feel your heart open.
Maybe notice a little bit of a lighter energy flowing through you.
Even if it's subtle one breath at a time.
From my heart to yours.
