This guided talkdown is designed to gently settle you back into rest if you’ve woken during the night. You’ll be comforted with soothing reassurance, a brief body relaxation, and dreamlike imagery of a golden hammock by the ocean, slowly wrapping into a cocoon of light. Gentle ocean sounds flow in the background, blending with the words to calm your mind and deepen your sense of safety. The meditation is warm, calming, and deeply comforting, created to quiet the mind and ease the body into peace. By the end, you’ll feel safe, held, and ready to drift naturally back into deep, restorative sleep.

Hello,

My dear friend.

If you've found yourself awake right now,

That's okay.

Sometimes we drift to the surface of the night for a reason.

An intense dream may carry you upward,

And the body pauses before drifting deeper again.

At times,

It's the body's wisdom,

Adjusting its rhythm or releasing what it no longer needs.

Other times,

It's the mind still holding traces of the day or something quieter,

Unseen,

Moving gently through you.

Whatever the reason,

There's nothing wrong.

You are safe,

And you are being cared for in this moment.

And just as naturally as the tide flows back to the shore,

You too will drift back into rest.

The night is still here to hold you,

And sleep will return as softly as a breeze through an open window.

For now,

Let this moment be enough.

You have done enough.

Truly,

It is enough.

Your body,

Mind,

And spirit,

They all know how to rest.

How to return to the quiet rhythm of sleep.

All that's asked of you now is to soften into the gentle reassurance of this truth.

I'm here with you,

And together,

We'll let the night carry you back into the safety of rest.

Now,

Let's let the body soften.

You don't need to follow every word.

Just allow the sound of my voice to guide you deeper into rest.

Bring your attention to your face and head.

Feel the small muscles release as though your skin is softening in the moonlight.

A gentle breath in and out,

Letting go.

Down to your shoulders and chest.

Notice any weight you've been carrying there,

And imagine it melting,

Flowing away like water returning to the sea.

Your arms grow heavy,

Peaceful,

And at ease.

To your belly and hips.

With every breath,

The center loosens,

Widening into comfort.

There's no holding on,

Only release.

Down your legs,

Your knees,

Your feet.

Allow them to sink,

Heavy and warm,

As though the earth itself is holding you.

And now,

Your whole body resting as one.

Soft,

Safe,

And quiet.

Each breath guiding you further into the embrace of sleep.

Imagine yourself resting in a hammock woven from golden threads.

Each strand shimmers faintly as though touched by starlight,

Strong enough to hold you.

Yet soft as silk against your skin.

The hammock sways gently in the night,

Moving with the same timeless rhythm that has always lulled the world into sleep.

Just beyond you,

The ocean whispers.

Her waves roll onto the shore in slow,

Steady breaths.

A rise,

A fall,

A pause.

Each swell is like the rocking of the hammock.

Each retreat is like an exhale dissolving into stillness.

The sea and the hammock move together,

Cradling you as one.

The air is warm,

Carrying a soft saltiness that rests against your skin.

Now and then,

The breeze gathers,

Carrying the hush of distant waves curling and unfolding,

Then fades back into stillness.

It feels as if the whole beach breathes with you,

The entire night keeping time with your rest.

As you lie in this golden hammock,

You feel completely safe.

Weightless and at ease.

Every sway deepens your calm,

Carrying you closer to the edge of dreams.

And then,

A presence arrives.

A being of love and light,

Gentle as moonlight,

Radiates beside you.

Without words,

They begin weaving a cocoon around you,

Spinning threads of luminous silk that glow with gold and silver hues.

Each thread closes the world out a little more.

Until all that remains is the tender sanctuary,

Wrapped snugly around you.

The hammock continues to sway,

And now the cocoon sways with it.

A womb of light within a cradle of golden threads.

Each wave that touches the shore rocks you deeper.

Each breath of the ocean becomes your breath,

Steady and soft.

You are protected here,

Surrounded by love.

The sea sings,

The night rocks you,

And the cocoon holds you in perfect safety.

Thoughts may rise,

But they dissolve into the rhythm of the waves,

Melting back into the endless tide.

There's nowhere else you need to be.

Nothing left to hold.

Only this rocking,

This warmth,

This tender cocoon of love,

Carrying you deeper into the quiet where sleep blooms.

You are held.

You are loved.

You are safe.

And as the hammock sways and the ocean breathes,

The cocoon draws you further into rest.

Guiding you gently into the heart of the night.

Now everything is quiet.

Your body is resting,

Wrapped in light,

Rocked by the rhythm of the night.

And as you drift here,

Let these words settle softly into you.

You are cared for,

More deeply than you may realize.

Even when the world feels heavy,

There is a current of love holding you,

Carrying you,

Always guiding you back to peace.

You are part of something vast,

Something wise.

The same intelligence that guides the tides and turns the stars is moving through you,

Even now.

You don't need to control it.

It's already working for your good.

Your heart is stronger than you know.

It has weathered storms and still beats with quiet courage.

Each beat is a promise that you belong here,

That your life has meaning,

That you are enough just as you are.

Whatever waits for you in the days to come,

You will meet it with the same strength that has carried you this far.

You're never alone in it.

You're supported,

Seen,

And loved.

The hammock sways,

The cocoon holds you.

The ocean whispers her steady song,

Reminding you that everything in life rises and falls.

The ocean whispers her steady song,

Reminding you that everything in life rises and falls,

And always returns to calm.

You are safe.

You are loved.

You are guided,

Always.

These truths live within you,

Steady as the tide,

Constant as the stars.

They will hold you through the night and carry you gently into tomorrow.

Rest now,

Dear one.

Rest and let go.

Sleep is here,

Wrapping you,

Guiding you,

Drawing you into its endless peace.

Good night,

My friend.

Good night.

I am grateful to have this to add to my sleep help. I love the background sound, and the fact that it goes on well past when the soothing voice has ended. It is effective! thank you.

I'm struggling with a cough since early Nov 25 and last evening was particularly bad (no idea what causes this). I'd gone to sleep around 10:30pm but woke at just on 5am today. After a quick cuppa, I tried to sleep again but the cough began again. Luckily it didn't last long. But it felt like sleep would desert me. Then I recalled Jacob's track. Whilst I heard more of it than I usually do, it worked as I woke again at nearly 9am. Thankfully nothing to rush for, and I was feeling better. Thank you Jacob for your work in creating your tracks and for sharing them with the Earth Family. Blessings to you 🙏🏻✨🙉
