Becoming mindful of our own biases and judgments is a critical step toward equity. While our urge may be to lash out at those we see as intolerant or oppressive, without taking clear-eyed stock of our own conditioned beliefs, we inevitably ripen more seeds of separateness. In this meditation, we compassionately attend to those judgments that disconnect us from those who are different from us, so that we may be more impactful in our work to confront oppression and injustice.
