The mystery of the path to be an artist.
The mystery of the artist's path has not yet been revealed.
There are those who say that it is the most beautiful and illuminated path that ever existed in the universe.
And there are those who believe it's not worth venturing down this road.
What is true is that each artist is a world unto themselves and there is no single way of being an artist.
There are as many ways as there are people on earth and each one will choose to live it according to their own truth,
According to their own music and voice and natural rhythm.
The road has ups and downs.
It offers joy and sadness,
Love and disenchantment.
And it has much light to give.
In this ebb and flow of contrasts there are two forces working within you.
One reluctant to venture into new light and the one which wants to flow in this life to surrender to a new dimension.
Both seek to achieve a constant balance to integrate themselves within you.
It is your choice how to transit this duality.
You can do so trusting in your process,
Understanding that each challenge is an opportunity to evolve.
Or you can live in sadness,
In resistance and in fragmentation.
You choose the duality between being and having to be.
Living your life as you breathe with your inner voice or living other people's lives.
Choosing to be an artist or not.
Experiencing your vocation or staying in a safe job that gives you stability.
Listening to your heart or confining yourself to the walls of your imprisoned mind.
The duality between two loyalties.
Loyalty to the model that tells you this is not the path for you,
That you are not enough,
That being a singer is for other people,
That you shouldn't even try.
Or loyalty to your inner core,
Whispering from the depths of your innermost being,
Telling you to believe,
To flow and don't give up.
Loyalty to your old self,
That part of you where the vestiges of the past still holds sway.
Or loyalty to this new energy which blooms inside you in your rebirth as an artist.
In the intangible world of your inner journey,
You flounder in the unpredictable,
Losing yourself in the gaze of others and in your own gaze.
So then you fall back,
Becoming invisible as you wait for some sign to rescue you,
But find no answer.
And in the face of such overwhelming solitude,
You lose the connection with your purpose as an artist and flee into the embrace of a safe haven.
So then,
In a bid to be loved,
You merge unthinking indiscriminately into the desire of the other,
Offering up your very skin.
You hide,
Shrink and literally disappear in your desire to be loved.
You follow the model to the letter and forget your own model,
The life you so wanted,
And thus you renounce your most authentic desire.
Your feelings of anger,
Frustration and envy towards other singers for achieving and building what you have not yet done,
Lead you to disappointment as you shut yourself away.
Such feelings take you far from your essence,
Far from your soul,
And you begin to lose your way.
Close your eyes.
Turn your focus inwards.
Breathe deeply in and out.
Make a stop on your path and return to your center,
The center of your being,
The center of your voice.
Breathe.
Return to that moment when you experienced singing for the first time and decided to express yourself through this art.
Return to your roots,
Your origins,
To that feeling which gave rise to a new way of connecting with life,
A path of no return,
For there is a before and after being an artist.
Now you will hear a melody you could sing,
And as you sing it,
You will feel yourself rising in an infinite vibration for your prayers to be heard.
Feel how that singing fills your entire body as you immerse yourself in music.
Feel how singing transports you to a new place.
Sing from the depths of your being,
Your essence.
Sing from your love and from your pain.
Sing to break through barriers,
To unblock yourself.
To transcend in mystic sound.
To fill yourself with certainty and imbue yourself with strength.
Sing to heal.
Sing to recover your power.
Sing to free your soul.
Sing to return to your home.
From that healing energy which can transcend all frontiers,
Return to your daily existence.
To your feelings and thoughts and beliefs.
And heal yourself.
Heal what must be healed.
Liberate,
Recover and release it.
Being reborn.
Return to yourself.
Return to your essence.
Now begin the path of detachment as you align yourself with divine inspiration and take flight.
Yes,
Take flight.
Spread your wings and shine as an artist.
Vibrate in this new intensity,
In this new awareness.
Return to your joy,
To your peace and fullness of being.
At times when uncertainty takes hold,
Sing.
To find the light and your own meaning.
At times when sorrow raises its head,
Sing.
To live a magical presence of fulfillment.
At times when chaos emerges,
Sing.
To transcend frontiers in a cosmic bubble of luminous protection.
Singing is where you will find yourself.
Where you become visible for yourself and for humanity.
Beyond duality and circumstances.
Beyond limitations and contradiction.
Doubt and uncertainty.
Beyond time and space.
You exist with your essence.
You exist with your soul.
You exist with your life choice.
You exist with your talent and creativity.
You exist as an artist.
Understand.
No one can hear what you hear.
No one can see what you see.
No one can replace you on this journey.
Because it is unique and unrepeatable.
Because it is your hidden treasure.
Because it is the temple to which only you have access.
You can expand its secrets,
Dance in its seas and experience its inspiration.
Only with you will this story have meaning and come to life.
Only then will the mystery of your path as an artist be revealed.
