The Present Moment
Every time we find ourselves moving away from what is important, when we are distracted, feeling anxious - or any other uncomfortable state - we can return to the present moment to experience calm and contentment. In this meditation discover the perfection of being witness the present moment; to experience 'now' and to know what you need and what is 'right' and 'best' for you, right now. Musis is 'The Games We Play' City of Dawn.

Welcome.
This is Dorothy Ratusni.
Thank you for joining me in this meditation,
The Present Moment.
One of the beautiful things that meditation allows us is to experience the beauty of the present moment.
And every time we find ourselves moving away from what's important.
When we notice ourselves feeling distracted,
Coming undone,
Feeling anxious,
Or any other uncomfortable state we can remember that we can easily return to the present moment.
And in the present moment,
There is simply beingness,
Calm,
Contentment.
Please join me in this meditation of the present moment.
Begin in a comfortable posture.
Wherever you are,
This could even be standing and find stillness in your body.
As you close your eyes,
Begin to experience what it feels like to focus inward.
When you focus inward,
The idea is to become aware of your current state in this moment.
The beauty of that is so that you become better at knowing how you feel,
What your needs are,
What you want.
And it allows you to be better at choosing what is right and best for you based on how you currently are.
Take some time here to simply be aware,
To notice without judging right or wrong,
Good or bad in this present moment.
And the next,
And the next.
For a time,
Simply be aware of how you feel within your body.
Bring your awareness back into your body,
Into the present,
Each time you need to return to the now.
We return to the present moment whenever we stop whatever we're doing and simply focus,
As you hold attention of the present moment.
Notice how you feel.
Notice without judgment.
Be attentive to everything that is part of your experience.
Practice this,
Returning to the present moment daily,
Often.
Notice the power,
The control that you feel as you are able to bring yourself easily into the now,
Whenever you choose.
Namaste.
