Take a moment to just settle in.

We're going to take five minutes to gently disconnect,
Recharge,
And find a sense of calm.
Begin by finding a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
And if it is safe to do so,
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Allow your body to settle,
Releasing any tension that you might be holding.
Now bring your awareness to your breath.
Notice the natural rhythm of your inhale and your exhale.
There's no need to change anything.
Simply observe.
Now let's take three deep breaths together.
Inhale deeply through your nose,
Filling your lungs completely,
And exhale slowly through your mouth,
Releasing any lingering stress.
Again,
Inhale deeply and exhale slowly.
One more time.
Inhale fully and exhale completely.
Now return to your natural breath,
Allowing it to flow effortlessly.
Imagine your mind as clear blue sky.
Imagine the constant stream of notifications and posts,
Information from social media as passing clouds.
Some clouds are light and fluffy,
Others are dark and stormy.
Just observe those clouds passing through your mind,
Your mental sky,
Without judgment.
You don't need to engage with them,
Analyze them,
Or hold on to them.
Simply acknowledge their presence and let them drift by.
Picture each notification,
Each scroll,
Each like as a small cloud gently floating away.
Allow the digital noise to dissipate,
Creating space for clarity and peace.
With each exhale,
Release any lingering tension or mental clutter associated with social media.
Let go of the need to respond,
To compare,
Or to stay connected.
Just breathe and release.
Now imagine a warm golden light filling your heart center.
This light represents your inner peace and your natural state of calm.
As you inhale,
Imagine this golden light expanding,
Filling your entire chest,
Your shoulders,
Your neck,
Your head.
With each exhale,
Allow the light to radiate outwards,
Softening any remaining tension in your body.
Feel the gentle warmth of this light as it soothes your body and your mind.
Allow it to recharge your energy,
Restoring your sense of balance and tranquility.
Know that this inner peace is always available to you,
A safe haven within.
You can return to this feeling of calm whenever you need to,
Simply by focusing on your breath in this golden light.
Take a few more deep gentle breaths,
Allowing the sense of peace to settle within you.
Begin to gently wiggle your fingers and your toes,
Bringing awareness back to your physical body.
When you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes,
Carrying this sense of calm with you.
Before you return to your day,
Set an attention for this moment.
Perhaps it's to be more mindful of your social media usage,
Or to prioritize moments of stillness and connection within yourself.
