So just take a moment to allow your eyes to close and allow yourself to Begin to relax.
And as you begin to comfortably drift to sleep I'm just going to tell this bedtime story in the background As I tell this bedtime story,
I don't know if you'll relax faster to the sound of my voice or whether it'll be to the spaces between my words.
And as you comfortably drift to sleep and find yourself.
Lying on the most beautiful beach.
Rounds.
In a fuzzy,
Comfortable blanket.
And this fuzzy blanket is a magic kind of blanket.
It's fuzzy.
Because it literally fuzzes.
Almost like tiny massages across your body.
Like a million little soft touches.
Relaxing your body.
Like the most gentle.
Acupressure happening.
Wherever that blanket is touching.
Carefully softening your muscles.
Passing relaxation.
In through those muscles.
As you breathe out.
Any stress or tension.
And you're just resting on this beach.
Under that blanket.
Feeling comfortably relaxed and sleepy.
While listening to the sound.
Of the water lapping so gently onto the seashore.
Rolling softly.
Up the beach.
Before pulling back out again into the sea.
The way light just about catches the tips.
Of the waves as they roll in.
And the white horses occasionally curling over.
As they gallop to the seashore.
And the scent.
Of the salty air.
And the gentle sea breeze.
And breathing in that air.
Fills you with this deep sense of healing and well-being.
It's always been said that a trip to the beach where you breathe in that sea air is deeply healing.
People often travel to the seashore for that reason.
And up the beach a little way for some sand dunes.
And some thick.
Grass is among those sand dunes.
That almost rustle in the breeze.
And the distant sound of seagulls.
As they fly.
And then land on the beach.
And sometimes land in the water.
Making sure that they land just the other side of where waves begin to curl over.
So that as the waves approach the shore they just gently bob up and down.
While the wave rolls underneath them.
And while lying there feeling so deeply relaxed.
It's so easy and effortless to begin to drift asleep.
And while you close your eyes and begin to drift asleep.
You start to notice.
The sound of loose particles of sand blowing across the seashore,
Almost like your hearing,
Really hones in on the finest elements of every sound.
And that's sand.
Carefully blowing across the seashore.
Starts to form into the sands of time.
As if each particle of sand is a moment in time.
And as those particles gather up,
Knock into each other and move around.
So time moves along.
And in your mind's eye.
We start to get this representation of those sands of time.
Having a sense of walking through sand dunes.
Watching the way the sand is moving down those dunes.
The way the dunes move like the ocean.
Where those sand dunes are just like giant waves of sand.
Carefully moving over time.
With sand blown at the back,
Rising up the back and the sand at the front,
Carefully moving down the front face of the dune.
And as time goes on.
Those sand dunes gradually.
Move slowly.
And then you realize that these sand dunes you're walking on are contained within a vast glass structure.
And that these truly are the sands of time.
As well as moving along the surface.
They're sinking down and moving down through that sand.
And somewhere way below you,
Out of sight.
The sand is moving from one universe.
Through a portal into another universe.
Like a giant hourglass.
Where the sand is falling from one universe through that portal.
And filling that other universe.
Does all that matter?
It doesn't matter that matter disappears from here.
Because that matter continues to exist.
In its new home.
And you begin to realize that.
Once that other universe is full.
And the sands of time for this universe.
Have reached an end.
It's not truly the end.
Because with the last grain of sand.
The universal hourglass flips over.
That becomes the first grain of sand in a new universe.
Forming and building up that universe.
Creating something entirely new.
In an old space.
With those old grains that are timeless.
That existed here,
Then there.
And have been everywhere.
And have been in every different combination,
Every different arrangement.
And that there's this universal cyclical swing.
And it's almost like just a blink of an eye.
Between being in one universe.
And the new universe forming again.
And there's a level of randomness to the way the sand moves and flows from one universe to the other.
The way it branches out.
And the sand doesn't always just flow from point A through to point B.
Sometimes it weaves its path.
Maybe missing the gap to the other universe at first.
And circling around.
And as you continue to explore these dunes.
You see the strangest thing.
That coming down the dune.
Is a small glass rabbit.
This rabbit stops at your feet and tells you They're made with the sands of time.
At the sand within them.
Has been compressed.
To such an extent.
That you can now see through that sand.
And because you can see through that sand.
You can see through time,
And they can see through time.
And they tell you that the way to do this is to follow them.
As they travel across the dunes.
And they'll branch out into a different place and a different time.
And all you have to do is copy what they do as you follow.
They slide down a dune and so you slide down the dune.
And that they cartwheel.
Over what looks almost like a whirlpool where the sand is passing to the new universe.
And so you cart will.
Over that whirlpool.
You head up the other side,
Following a dune.
And slide down another dune.
And then they place a hat on their head and they throw a hat over their shoulder.
You catch that hat and place it on your head.
And you watch them spin the propeller.
On their hat.
They spin that propeller three times.
To make it spin and keep spinning.
And it sounds almost like.
.
.
An old aeroplane engine starting up.
Worrying to life.
And you see them rising from the dunes.
And see you spin the propeller three times on your hat.
And you feel yourself rising up from the dunes and you hold that hat onto your head.
As the hat lifts you up from the sand.
And you follow them up as they circle around and you gaze down looking back at the dunes.
Watching the way the sand is moving.
And they fly all the way up to the top of this glass structure.
And as they near the top of the glass structure.
They wave a paw in front of them.
And a portal seems to open.
In the glass.
And they fly through that portal.
And you follow them.
And find yourself outside of time.
Surrounded by blackness looking back at that hourglass floating in nothingness.
In an area where there's no up,
Nor down,
No back,
Nor forth,
No left,
Nor right.
No past,
No future,
Just now.
And there's a stillness here.
And then that rabbit pulls out a magic wand.
They spin that magic wand around before them.
And the space around them.
Begins to fizz.
And crackled.
And in that fizzing and crackling.
It's almost like in the darkness.
Light begins to form.
And in that light.
A land begins to open out before you.
And that land begins to envelop you.
And you feel yourself.
Resting.
In a meadow.
And you see that rabbit go from glass to fur.
And they tell you.
But this.
Is the magical meadow.
It's a place between universes and time.
A place of imagination where anything goes.
It's the place you go when you sleep and dream.
Where anything you can think of can happen here.
And you look around in this meadow.
And you can see.
Trees.
Growing upside down.
You see bushes full of marshmallows.
You see one tree.
That smells of coffee.
And stood beside the trunk of the tree.
Is a very friendly.
Looking mouse.
Wearing a fedora hat.
Holding a large cup.
Which is filling with something flowing out of that tree.
And the rabbit tells you.
That the sap within that tree.
Is the most incredible coffee.
And whenever you find those trees.
You can puncture the side of the tree.
And the coffee will just flow out of that puncture.
And gradually that puncture will heal itself and the flow will stop.
And that coffee comes out already hot.
Warmed by the heart of the tree.
And you see something passing you by.
That seems to be as far as you can see to the left and the right and you can't work out what it is.
The rabbit tells you that's the impossibly long hair.
And hares,
Don't you know?
Are very similar to rabbits.
But they look a bit different.
They stand a bit taller.
But that specific one is impossibly long.
No one's ever seen either end of it.
But sometimes they hear it talk to them.
And when it talks,
It just says I go from hair to hair.
And apparently their front reaches their back.
That nobody's ever seen.
All the way round to find those parts of that hair.
And the strange thing is,
The hair is a normal height.
It just happens to be impossibly long.
And you begin to explore this unusual land.
Following that rabbit.
And the rabbit pulls out a pocket watch.
And that pocket watch.
Doesn't tell time.
It measures events.
And there's a certain distinction between telling time and telling events.
And the rabbit tries to explain that to you.
That a part of you is still distracted.
By seeing that impossibly long hair.
And while exploring,
You have to step over that long hair.
There's no way round it.
And the rabbit says that,
As you'll notice,
Over on the left.
Is the magic who would.
And you look over to the left and you can't see anything there.
It just looks like more meadow and hills.
And the rabbit explains that that magical word is invisible.
You're walking with the rabbit towards the magical woods.
And eventually bump into something.
And the rabbit says,
Mine the tree.
As you feel around.
And you can feel the texture of the bark.
You can hear the rustling leaves overhead.
You can see birds seemingly perched.
And nothing.
Hovering in space,
Singing.
Among this invisible wood.
You can see circles.
Of grass.
That seem like.
They're around the base of trees.
And what looks almost like helixes of vines.
Just standing in the air.
That are obviously wrapped around those invisible trees.
And so you walk slowly and carefully through this invisible wood and the rabbit seems to be able to find themselves through here with ease.
And they wander deeper and deeper into the wood and you follow.
And they tell you that.
In a moment you're going to experience an exercise in patience.
And you wonder what that means.
And they guide you through the woods.
And you see a cabin in the distance,
The most inviting cabin,
The gentle glow in the windows.
A slight wisp of smoke rising from the chimney.
Normally this kind of cabin would be embedded in the most beautiful woodland,
But here,
If you didn't know there were invisible trees around,
You'd think it's just a cabin on a hill.
In an unusual meadow.
And the rabbit says,
We're heading to the cabin.
And so you follow them all the way to that cabin.
They know.
On the door of the cabin.
And after a brief wait.
Dizzy the Emerald Caterpillar answers the door.
And Dizzy says her real name's Lizzy but she always keeps busy so she's known better as Dizzy.
Because she finds herself constantly tizzy and in a spin.
Doing this and that,
Trying to do a million things at once.
Because she knows that one day she's going to get a certain itch.
And Lizzie,
Keeping busy,
Feeling dizzy,
Getting that itch,
Will want to stop and rest.
And she knows when a caterpillar stops and rests.
They stop being a caterpillar for good.
And so the whole time she's got the chance to be a caterpillar.
She's okay getting dizzy.
Being busy.
Because she wants to do as much as she can.
Before she stops and rests.
And you follow dizzy.
Into her cabin.
She makes you the most.
Comfortable drink.
Directs you to sit in a chair as soft as marshmallows.
That smells just as sweet.
And she tells you.
That she owns a magical picture.
And she says it's not so much that the picture itself.
.
.
Is magical.
It's more that the picture's magical because of the frame that it's in.
The how you frame things changes the experience of what you framed.
If you frame something with the most friendly,
Kind frame.
What makes that thing seem more friendly and kind?
If you frame something with a darker,
More unpleasant frame.
It darkens the image.
So the magic in the picture comes from the frame.
And you sit and talk with Dizzy for a while.
And she suggests.
You trace that picture.
And see what you can learn about the picture.
You place.
Some paper over the picture.
You carefully begin to trace the picture.
And once you've traced that picture which takes a lot of patience.
She asks you to colour that traced picture in.
And do your best.
Colour that picture in the same.
As the picture you've just traced.
And so you take your time to try and really carefully colour in that picture.
Making sure to do the job properly She then says,
Add in the finer details.
Take a very close look at the picture.
Find all the fine detail that you missed the first time.
And draw that onto the picture.
And so you go through the picture.
Almost with a fine tooth comb trying to really pick out every fine detail you previously missed.
You add all that to your image and it feels like you've been doing this for hours and hours and hours.
And dizzy is beginning to get itchy.
And restless.
And once you've finished.
Takes that picture from you.
Looks at it.
Makes a few noises as if interested in what she's looking at.
Before crumpling it out and throwing it in a fire.
And you watch this picture you spent ages working on.
Gradually melting down and burning in the fire.
The smoke rising up the chimney.
And she says it's all about learning something you don't yet know.
And says it's time for her now to go and it's your time to approach the picture in that frame.
And the rabbit stands and watches.
And dizzy.
Wraps herself.
In the most comfortable fuzzy blanket.
Hangs herself from the ceiling.
To wrap herself even tighter in that blanket.
Settling down for her night.
Which will be a long night.
And the rabbit says.
.
.
This is time for her transformation.
You'll see her again.
But not as you've seen her now.
And you head to that picture Take a deep breath as you walk.
Up to it and touch it with a hand.
And you can feel that picture.
Fizzing beneath the palm of your hand.
Tickling the palm of your hand.
The gentle texture of that picture.
As the hand passes through it.
And you follow.
Instead.
Into the world of that picture and the rabbit hops through after you.
And in this world.
The ground is soft and squishy.
The air is sweet.
And you can see the most beautiful lake.
Peering at you.
Through the trees.
And you walk through those trees coming out.
By the lake.
The ground still soft and squishy,
The air still sweet.
You then see as you stand at the edge of the lake.
And carefully rising from the water.
Holding a sword.
The rabbit tells you.
To get into the boat and head out to the centre of the lake.
To take that sword.
As you climb into a rowboat.
You row carefully out towards that hand rising from the water.
You hear the sound of almost like.
.
.
Tubular bells ringing from the heart of the lake.
As you reach the heart of the lake,
You reach over and you take hold of the sword.
You feel a warmth pass through your body.
Starting at your hand,
Passing up your arms.
Up into your head and then down through your body to the tips of your toes like the most comfortable warm blanket enveloping you.
Bringing a deep sense of peace and calm to your mind and body.
You notice the sword glowing in your hand.
You feel yourself relaxing back into the boat The sword begins to feel heavy.
And begins to.
Transmit.
History to you.
History of the sword,
Where it came from,
Whose hands it's been in,
How it was forged,
And not just the journey of its past.
But the journey of its future.
And you carry that sword back to the bank of the river.
The sword still feeling heavy.
You sit down on the bank of the river,
The rabbit sitting watching.
The sword still getting heavier and heavier.
The rabbit says that it's getting heavier.
Because it contains.
The weight.
Of responsibility.
And that it only gets lighter.
When you begin to understand.
How to handle that responsibility.
And share the weight of that responsibility with the sword.
To help to form a chain of responsibility between when that sword was forged and when that sword will finally go to rest.
And so you rest the sword on your lap.
Still feeling its weight.
But while it's resting on your lap.
And you're holding that sword and you can feel it pulsing with energy.
And you can feel its history passing through you and its future woven within you you begin to focus on breathing comfortably and relaxing yourself into the experience.
On noticing relaxation.
Entering your body with each in-breath and any stress or tension leaving your body with every out-breath.
Your ears picking up all the sounds around you,
Pinpointing exactly where each sound is.
With the next in-breath.
Feeling relaxation passing and the muscles around the face begin to relax and around the top of the head and around the ears.
And around the eyes.
The muscles around your nose and your mouth.
And around your jaw,
Relaxing deeper.
And deeper.
As that relaxation begins too Hush down your net.
Down your shoulders.
Across the top of your back.
Down into your arms.
All the way down to the tips of your fingers.
And while you continue to breathe in that way,
Where each out breath begins to become longer than each in breath the relaxation starts to move around your sides around your chest.
Moving down to your lower back.
Around your stomach.
Healing,
Softening.
And relaxing deep within you.
Of that relaxation.
Moving down.
Your buttocks.
And passing down into your legs,
Making those legs feel heavier and heavier.
Deeper and deeper relaxed.
Until the relaxation goes all the way down to your feet.
And you feel yourself almost synchronizing with that sword.
As if the frequencies of yourself and your being match the frequencies of the sword,
You begin to find your place on that sword's journey.
And as you find your place on that sword's journey.
Where your mind begins to settle on your role that you take.
The sword begins to feel lighter,
Until it's almost like it's not there at all.
It's only when it stops feeling like it's even there.
Your eyes automatically begin to open,
But as they open,
So you remain in this state.
Remain in this focused state of mind where you're one with the soul.
And you see the world around you through this lens.
Understanding your role here.
And you walk through the landscape.
And it's like a map.
Forms in your mind.
With different paths to take.
Understanding the route you need to take to where you're going.
And you find your way all the way to the edge of a cliff,
Where you look out over a rough sea crashing onto the shore.
A lighthouse along that cliff.
Like a sentinel standing tall.
It's I.
Looking out.
For any boats approaching the shore.
A storm.
Beginning to approach that shore.
The rain getting heavier and heavier.
Large drops,
Almost hanging in the air as they fall.
Warping with the wind.
Exploding on impact with the ground.
The grass,
Waving with the breeze.
As you head around that lighthouse.
Walk into that lighthouse.
And begin to ascend the steps to the top of the lighthouse.
And at the very top of the lighthouse.
Is a stone.
With the light at the top of the lighthouse circling around that stone.
And in the heart of that stone.
Is a slit.
Just wide enough for the sword.
And you have to time it just right as the light passes you.
You lean forward and plunge that sword into the slit.
Placing the sword in the stone.
And with that,
An explosion of bright white light bursts out from the lighthouse,
From that stone,
In all directions.
Storm clouds in the sky evaporate away as the light passes across them.
The ocean becomes calm.
Everything becomes so still.
And out the window.
From the lighthouse.
You see a glowing being.
Hovering in the sky.
Wings stretched out.
Glowing a yellowy white.
With sparkling light around them.
Looking like the most beautiful butterfly.
And in an almost psychic voice projected into your mind.
With a slight echo.
That seems to be coming from everywhere at once.
Explain that.
They're dizzy.
Reborn.
In the next stage of their life.
And they needed your help to achieve this.
And from in front of them forms a small stone.
An emerald that moves towards you.
And passes.
Through the glass.
Of the lighthouse.
And settles in the palm of your hand.
And as it settles in the palm of your hand and you wrap your hand closed around it So you feel yourself.
Drifting back.
To awareness under that fuzzy blanket.
Sound.
Of the water lapping on the shore.
Noticing the sounds of seagulls that calm down.
Feeling deeper relaxed than you've ever felt before.
Your eyes.
Gradually creeping back to life.
Carefully opening up.
And noticing that within your hands.
You seem to be holding something.
You don't remember holding anything before.
And you pull your hand out from underneath that fuzzy blanket.
You open your fingers.
And you see that emerald stone.
And it has a sweet.
Scent like popcorn.
And you notice a butterfly flying past you.
And you always have that sense.
As if it's the butterfly from your dream.
And as it's getting late.
You set off back home.
And once home,
You have something to eat.
You relax for a while with a book in front of a fire.
Listening to that crackling fire and the dancing.
Light.
Before your eyes get so heavy.
You want to drift asleep.
So you head to bed.
You relax down in bed.
And you imagine yourself.
Walking.
Down a path into the most beautiful garden.
Pretend.
Seven.
Six.
Five.
Foolish.
Three.
Too.
One walking.
Through the garden.
Resting down on a bench.
Onto the bench of D.
Sleep.
You gaze up at the sky.
In this garden.
You watch as the clouds float by and for just a moment they form the words.
And as that fades away in the sky,
And a smile comes to mind.
You drift and float.
So relax.
So peacefully asleep into slumberland.
