Just take a moment to allow your eyes to close and allow yourself to begin to relax.
And as you begin to comfortably drift asleep,
I'm just going to tell this sleep meditation in the background.
And I don't know whether you'll find yourself drifting deeper to the sound of my voice or perhaps to the spaces between my words.
And as you begin to drift comfortably asleep you can have a sense of walking through a forest and you're walking through a forest higher in the arctic circle.
And while you walk,
You're shouted from the wind.
You're wrapped up warm.
And cosy.
And you can hear the sound of the wind.
You can hear the rustling of the branches of the trees.
Noticing some snow occasionally falling down from those branches as they move.
The crunching sound of each footstep.
And you're walking trying to find a clearing somewhere that you can see the northern lights.
And you can feel your warm breath with each out breath you take.
And you push on through this forest.
Noticing how white the forest is.
Noticing it's almost like a black and white photo with just the occasional glint of green from the trees.
And as you continue to push through the forest so you can begin to notice some sparkling moonlight off in the distance.
Noticing that you're gradually approaching a clearing.
And then as you arrive at that clearing.
And walk out into that clearing.
You gaze up and see the most beautiful dancing colours in the sky.
And you watch those colours as they move and dance and you sit down on the snow.
Crunching down onto that snow.
Just watching and enjoying the light show overhead.
You set up a camera.
You take some photos.
Of the dancing,
Moving lights in the sky.
And after taking some photos.
You continue to just sit and relax.
Noticing the way the moon lights.
Seems to give a slight blue tinge to the surface of the snow.
And then as you gaze out.
Towards some snowy hills.
You notice that there's a polar bear and a polar bear cub.
Walking up and over one of those hills.
Illuminated by the gentle light of the moon.
And you see that adult polar bear slide slightly in the snow.
While walking along that hill.
And then walking to the peak.
Of the hill.
And then you notice the strangest thing.
That the polar bear seems to sit down in the snow.
The cub sits down in the snow.
And then that light showing the sky.
Begins to change,
The lights begin to feel more of the sky,
Almost like they're lowering down to the ground.
The light becomes more intense.
And appears more energetic.
And while watching that.
You notice that it looks like the light is coming down towards that polar bear.
Then you pick up your camera,
Zoom in on the polar bear to get a closer look.
And while zoomed in on the polar bear you notice its fur standing up on end.
Almost like it's got static electricity flowing through it.
And you can see the light jumping down,
Almost like.
.
.
Little sparks.
Little zaps of electricity jumping out the sky.
Onto that polar bear.
And you notice how the fur on the polar bear begins to change colour.
And starts to have colours cycling around.
Almost like a light show.
Within the fur of that polar bear.
As if somehow that polar bear is channeling the energy from the sky.
Down into itself.
And somehow storing all that within its own fur.
And you watch as patterns of light move from head to tail.
Pulsate,
Spread around.
And start making different patterns.
Almost like there's rhythm or music playing.
Within that polar bear.
And you watch with intrigue as you then see that adult polar bear.
Turn its nose.
Toward the polar bear cub.
Reach its head forward and touch the nose of the polar bear cub.
It's almost like a spark of static electricity jumps to that polar bear cub.
And the light show starts spreading through the cub,
Dancing around on the fur of the cub.
And you take some photos knowing that later you won't believe your eyes.
You'll think back on the experience and imagine that you must have imagined it.
And so you want something concrete,
Something you can rely on you also want to try and understand what this is and after a while of watching those polar bears flash with different light watching the way the light reflects off the snow around the polar bears.
The aurora begins to rise back up into the sky.
Appears less energetic.
Goes back to normal.
And yet those polar bears still have dancing light.
Pulsating through them.
And the polar bears stand up.
And continue walking along the hill.
And you decide you're going to follow them.
But you keep your distance.
So you follow those polar bears as they walk down the hill.
As they begin to follow.
A trodden trail.
Looks like they've probably walked this.
Reasonably recently before.
And you keep to the tree line.
And you keep your camera out.
And every now and then you zoom in,
Get a closer look of those polar bears,
Take a few photos.
And then you notice a white fox come running out of the trees.
And suddenly get startled at recognising that there's something out here.
Because it wasn't expecting you to be there and so it freezes for a moment and with your camera out you quickly zoom in,
Get focus.
Nice bit of background blur.
A bit of halo from the moon.
Quickly take a photo and then another and another.
That even under this low light with the fox being white.
And the moon being bright.
You don't need too slow a shutter speed.
And then that fox turns and darts back into the woods.
And you continue walking along the edge of the forest.
Keeping an eye on those bears.
As you walk past where the fox was,
You can hear it walking in the forest.
You know it's just keeping.
Out of sight while you pass by,
But it obviously has somewhere to be,
Somewhere to go.
And it's just waiting for you to pass by before it continues its journey.
And you notice.
While following those bears.
An owl in the sky,
Just silently hovering.
And flying around,
Just silhouetted in the sky.
And you track that owl with your camera.
Get a photo of the hovering owl.
And you know that.
Photography is about capturing moments that others miss.
And being aware of the moment.
Keeping your focus open.
And not being so absorbed in other things that you miss what's going on right in front of you.
And so you take time to capture all of the unexpected pleasures that you see.
Taking each opportunity.
And you notice.
The sound of.
The ocean.
You're aware that you're gradually getting closer to the sea.
And you know that shortly the forest.
Will take a turn in a different direction.
And you'll have to continue out in the open.
And you'll walk down towards the ocean.
And you suspect that these polar bears are heading towards the ocean as well.
And from time to time you continue to zoom in on them with your camera.
And you can see that they're still flashing and pulsating with colour.
That they still look like they're static electric within them.
And the ocean gets louder and louder,
As you get closer and closer.
And those hills eventually turn into a cliff.
And the polar bears find their way down from the hills.
Heading down.
To the bottom of the cliff.
And you find your way down as well,
Keeping an eye on those polar bears.
You what?
As they walk along the edge of the ocean.
And you notice them turning into a cave.
And you decide to head down.
And go and explore that cave.
And so you follow those polar bears.
You carefully and quietly.
Enter the cave.
And as you walk into the cave so you notice the sounds change how the ocean begins to sound echoey and starts to sound more distant the deeper you walk into the cave.
You use your camera.
To illuminate your path as you walk.
Toward where you know those polar bears are.
And you can notice a glowing coming from within this cave,
You can notice that colour changing glow,
Knowing that you are approaching those polar bears.
And as you get nearer.
To the polar bears so you notice this cave opens up into a chamber and around the outside of the chamber.
Is a glowing moss.
And you touch that moss with your hand,
You feel how soft that moss is,
You notice it's slightly damp and yet slightly warm.
And you find that unusual given the temperature outside the cave.
And you wonder how that moss is keeping warm.
And you can see those bears.
Sat in the cave,
Huddled up together.
Both glowing and.
.
.
Having pulsing colours.
In different patterns.
And in the middle of this chamber,
You see a pool of water.
That's glowing blue and you carefully walk into the chamber.
And something about the experience makes you feel safe.
Around these bears.
You have this sense like they've noticed you and don't care that you're there.
Like they've just clocked you,
Got a bit of an eye on you.
And trust that you're no threat to them and they've got no intention of being any threat to you and you walk to that water and you notice.
That that water.
.
.
Feels warm,
You notice there's a slight steam,
A slight puff.
Bit of water vapour coming up.
Where it's almost like being at a spa.
You have this sense that you could climb into this pool of water.
Relax down into it.
And you'd be so warm and comfortable.
And this water's bubbling just ever so slightly.
And while your hands rest in the water.
You notice the blueness from the water beginning to spread up both hands,
Spread up your arms.
Almost like it's somehow spreading comfort and relaxation through your arms,
Through your shoulders,
And then down through your body.
And that somehow that relaxation is spreading deeper and deeper within you with each breath that you take.
And you notice the strangest thing,
That while that relaxation spreads through you,
You feel this compulsion to want to sit down,
Close your eyes and begin to meditate.
And so after the blue light,
The blue from that water has passed through your entire body.
From the top of your head to the tips of your toes you sit down against the wall of the cave.
Resting your back against that incredibly soft and warm moss.
You close your eyes.
And begin to relax deeply.
And begin to meditate on just being in the moment,
Noticing drip sounds.
Noticing sensations of your ongoing experience.
And then after a few moments you feel like your eyes have opened,
Yet you know they're still closed.
And you look around you.
And you can see those bears looking up at you.
And then one of those bears begins to talk to you.
And you realize you understand it.
But you notice that because of the state of mind you're in,
You're just remaining mindful,
You don't attach to the fact that the bear is talking and that you understand that bear.
You just accept it as being in this moment.
And the bear explains where you are.
And explains what's going on.
They explain that.
.
.
They're not ordinary polar bears.
That they're spirit animals.
And that all spirit animals head up to the North Pole.
And they make this journey once every year.
And they reinvigorate themselves.
With the energy from the universe.
That at the heart of every single atom at the heart of every single.
Wave of existence.
The most fundamental thing.
Is the seed of consciousness.
And they talked about something called panpsychism.
And you found yourself intrigued about this idea.
They talked about how the Information is passed through the electromagnetic field.
They've got the ability to absorb that information.
It's passed through the electromagnetic field from the universe.
Down to.
Clusters of galaxies down to individual galaxies down to planets.
Following that train from.
Universe,
Through galaxies,
Through stars.
To plan it.
A chain of information.
That connects everything.
Like a giant web throughout the universe.
And that they can top themselves up with this energy,
Top themselves up with this information,
This universal consciousness.
Helping them to remain spirit animals connecting.
With the rest of the universe.
Almost like they're opening up a channel.
And they come up here.
And then they find some way.
To rest,
To meditate,
To allow that to absorb within them.
And once it's fully absorbed within them.
They then go back and carry on their existence.
And that some animals can't make their way up here.
And in those cases.
.
.
They need the stronger,
Larger animals.
To do this on their behalf and then find these locations where they can.
Almost project out that universal consciousness.
Creating a web of consciousness between receptive animals.
Where certain beings like humans just think that the animals seem to just know each other.
And somehow seem in sync with each other.
And you realise there have been times when you've noticed different types of animals.
Responding as if somehow they understood each other.
And you'd passed it off as unlikely and just coincidence.
But now you weren't so sure.
And the polar bear explained that.
.
.
This connection to a universal consciousness.
Is a connection to being able to share ideas,
To bypass specific language.
And that's why they can be understood.
Because it's not that they're communicating with a language,
They're communicating in ideas.
And each brain will interpret those ideas in their own way.
And make sense of things in their own way.
And that humans are one of the few creatures.
Which aren't spirit animals.
And that humans seem to think of spirit animals as some male.
Being invisible,
Spirit-like animals.
When in fact they're normal animals in your everyday life.
That can project a connection upon you.
And with you and with each other.
Almost like communicating through your spirit.
That it can be your pet dog that you feel this deep bond and connection with that you feel seems to know you,
Even when you don't say a word.
Or your cat that jumps up on your bed,
Snuggles up and nuzzles into you.
As if somehow it knew that you needed a hug.
Just needed that bit of attention.
Or that can sometimes be sat in a corner,
Staring at something you can't see.
Where it's zoned out and it's connected with the wider universal consciousness.
And that these animals have far greater consciousness and awareness.
Than humans seem to give them credit for.
That humans give themselves this.
Heightened sense of importance that can blind them.
To what's right in front of their face.
And you listen intently.
And with intrigue and interest.
And then after a little while.
The blue begins to fade through you the meditation begins to come to an end.
And you now have an awareness of actually opening your eyes in this cave,
In this cavern.
And you see those polar bears just sat there.
You notice the colours are beginning to fade on their backs.
The pulsing.
Light is slowing down.
And they look like they're about to fall asleep.
And as they do,
You leave.
This cavern and then you walk out of the cave.
And you notice as you're walking out.
That you walk out into a sunrise,
That the ocean has calmed right down.
And you can feel the warmth of the sun on your cheeks.
Noticing that that warmth of the sun is warmer than the coolness of the environment.
You find your way back up toward that forest.
You walk back through the forest.
Noticing the rays of light.
From the Sun.
Dancing on the path.
As the sun shines.
Through those trees.
That slight mist.
As it warms up the snow.
You find your way back to a cabin.
And in the cabin.
You take off your outerwear.
You light a log fire.
Make yourself a hot drink.
You sit in a chair by that fire,
Listening to the crackling of the fire,
Feeling the warmth of the hot drink in your head.
Occasionally putting it up just under your nose,
Breathing into the cup a little.
Feeling the warmth from in the car.
And relaxing.
And while you relax.
You drink your drink.
And then you realise you've been out all night.
And so you just want to rest for a moment.
You don't know if you'll fall asleep,
But you just want to rest for a moment.
So you read a book for a little while sat in that chair.
Until you notice your eyes becoming heavy.
And as your eyes become heavy.
So you close the book,
Place it down beside you.
And let your eyes relax shut.
And with your eyes relaxed shut.
So are you.
Notice yourself dreaming of seeing those polar bears.
Only in the dream.
The polar bears,
Run down that hill.
And as they run So they turn into.
.
.
Beautiful and powerful looking white horses.
Which launch off the hill.
Riding on a rainbow.
And you watch as they ride on that rainbow out over the ocean.
And as they seem to become whiter and brighter.
The faster and further they run.
And the more they're galloping.
The more energy they seem to be gathering up within them.
Until it looks like they're becoming denser and denser,
Almost like they're becoming more stocky.
And then like they suddenly become elongated.
Disappearing in a flash.
Just leaving behind a trail of rainbows.
Off as far as the eye can see.
And you start wondering about this dream.
And its connection with your experience.
And whether this is part of your mind's way of understanding the experience.
Of helping you.
To process.
Your experiences from the day.
And after what seems like a really short time.
You discover yourself waking up.
And realise that many hours have passed by.
You go outside,
Stretch your legs outside your cabin.
You walk around.
To the lake by the cabin.
And it's just a small lake,
But you gaze out over that lake.
Noticing the way ice has formed across most of the lake but some parts the ice has cracked.
And you can just see the waves of the light sloshing up against the underside of the ice and onto the shore.
And you gently push on some of the ice with your feet.
Just one foot applying a bit more pressure,
Hearing that creaking sound of the ice.
And then the cracking.
And sloshing and sploshing sound of the ice.
As your foot breaks that.
And you do that a few times just.
Stepping on the bits of ice.
And you know that in the morning you'll be heading away from this cabin.
Making a long trip back home.
That you came up here to see the northern light.
And you saw more.
Than you expected.
And you want to be able to check out your photos.
And try and process your experience.
See if you can make sense of some of it.
And while you're stood by that lake,
So you notice what looks like a large stag.
Walking out of the forest.
And a bit like you did,
It stands on the ice a little bit.
Breaks the edge of the eyes.
But then the stag puts its head down and has a little bit to drink.
And you wish that you had your camera out on you here and now.
You know you have to just remember this moment.
As that stag heads back into the forest.
And you head back into the cabin.
And as the evening draws on.
You have something to eat.
Before heading off to bed.
You relax down in the bed.
With the most comfortable blanket.
It's almost like wrapping a cloud around you.
Your head sinks into the most comfortable pillow.
And you drift and float and sleep.
And the next morning,
You wake up ready for your journey home.
You get into your car,
Begin your journey.
Away from the North Pole.
You travel down through the white snowy land.
That appears so barren.
Just white everywhere you look.
And after many hours of driving.
You begin to notice more and more greenery.
You become aware of the rise in the temperature You begin to notice fast flowing rivers.
Waterfalls.
And on the quiet roads.
You take time to look out the window.
Drive at a comfortable speed.
While observing the world around you.
Occasionally stopping,
Taking some photos.
Stretching your legs before continuing your journey.
And after,
Most of the day as night time sets in.
You pull in.
And a place to stay.
They spend the night.
While you sleep,
So.
.
.
You start to hear a storm gathering up outside.
You hear the distant,
Low rumble of thunder noticing that help you drift deeper.
Into your dreams.
Noticing the occasional comfortable flash of light outside.
Hearing the sound of the rain on the window.
Sometimes raining hard,
Sometimes raining a bit softer.
Just drifting deeper to the sound of that rain and the next morning awakening.
To some sounds of birds outside.
And when you wake up,
You open the window.
You smell that.
Early morning air from a night of heavy rain.
You can smell that storm on the air and see the clear blue sky of the morning.
And you can gaze around.
See whether there's any clouds in that clear blue sky and you have some breakfast before continuing your journey.
You get back into your car.
Continue driving along.
Hearing the sound of the tyres against the wet road.
Looking forward to making it all the way home.
And on your journey every time you see animals,
You wonder whether they're spirit animals.
Whether they have a connection.
Whether you've just missed it all this time.
And you continue driving.
And around you,
Things continue to get greener,
More lush.
The air continues to get warmer and where you are surrounded by.
Valleys and mountains and hills.
Now you're approaching an area.
A flatland of fields.
And you drive through bright yellow fields.
With the sweetest smell.
And then through deep purple fields.
With their lavender smell.
You drive through fields of corn.
You dry.
Through a vineyard.
Can smell a distant smell of wine being produced.
Can you pull up to stretch your legs and go for a walk?
Through an orchard.
You walk among the trees.
You notice some flowers around the outside.
Notice some areas that have been allowed to be wild.
The kind of like wild managed areas.
To encourage bees and.
.
.
Other insects and birds to the areas.
You notice the daisies in the grass.
And the dandelions.
And you carefully pick one of the grey dandelions.
Noticing.
The white oozing out of the bottom of the dandelion.
You hold it up towards the sun.
You twist it slowly and slightly.
In your fingers.
Noticing the way the sunlight dances through that dandelion.
The way it reflects and illuminates different parts of its structure.
And then you carefully blow the top of that dandelion.
Just as the breeze is.
Passing by.
Watching that dandelion spread out from in front of you.
Knowing that you helped to spread life.
And you continue to walk and explore.
To enjoy this wildlife.
Noticing bees on plants.
Hearing the sounds of birds.
Seeing a couple of larger birds just circling overhead catching warm updrafts of air.
Seeing a cat.
That seems to be playing and jumping.
And pouncing on what you can't see.
And so you watch that cat for a little while.
You watch it wiggle its bum before leaping.
You watch the way it shoulders.
Bob up and down while keeping its body.
Perfectly level with the ground and stretched out while it seems to be stalking something.
But you can't see what it's stalking.
And you wonder whether it's just practicing.
Like a person will practice.
When they want to learn a task.
As if the cat just suddenly lost interest.
You see it totally change in its attitude,
In its movements.
And just come plodding over towards you.
And it wraps itself around your legs,
Through your legs.
Powering.
And you crouch down,
You stroke the side of that cat.
It turns itself around your hand.
Seems to.
Decide to lose its ability to walk and just lifts its leg up.
And then flops down on its side.
And lets you stroke its belly.
And grabs onto your hand with its paws,
Without letting out its claws.
And you sit yourself down fully on the ground.
And it climbs onto your lap.
And you didn't take much persuading not to move and you think to yourself,
Well I can't really go and do anything now,
Can I?
I may as well stay here for a while and you feel that this cat is telling you to slow things down.
And to focus on just being in the moment There's no hurry.
To be somewhere else.
And you start thinking about how.
As a child,
All you want to do is grow up.
Be an adult.
And yet when you become an adult.
You often wish that you could be younger again.
And the older you get,
Often the younger you wish you could be you wish you could be a young adult,
Perhaps even as young as a child And yet when you were younger,
You were doing everything you could to try and look older and trying to be older.
And you start thinking that this cat is almost teaching you that you don't want to wish your life away You want to enjoy where you're at.
Enjoy stroking that cat.
Enjoy just this moment.
This connection.
And then you.
Hear some sounds coming from my little barn.
And as those sounds appear,
So the cat jumps off your lap.
And starts rushing towards the barn.
And the cat seems to stop,
Look back at you,
As if to say to follow.
So you follow that cat.
And it keeps stopping and looking back to make sure you're still following.
And then it walks into the barn.
You follow into the barn.
And you see a.
.
.
Bed containing a litter of puppies.
And the cat goes over and is tending to those puppies.
It picks some of them up and puts them back at the bed.
Then you see a dog walking in.
And the cat and the dog seem to be working so well together looking after those puppies.
You wonder what their relationship is.
It looks like perhaps they've both grown up on this area.
Together for a long time.
They're almost like best friends.
And after all those puppies are calmed down.
And the dog has fed.
Those puppies and the cat has helped to feed those puppies by bringing some food over.
That dog and cat chase each other around and seem to be playing games with each other.
And the cat would go and hide behind things.
And it looked like they were playing it,
Playing tag,
As if somehow one had to catch the other.
And the dog would try and figure out how to get around objects,
How to get over or under objects.
The dog was so much larger than the cat.
The cat could get into spaces where the dog would have to work out the puzzle of how do you get to the cat.
And it looked like they had so much fun.
In the same way that you can have fun watching them.
Seeing their relationship.
Aware of how different they are.
Aware of the different lifestyles of dogs and cats and yet here are two who are getting on with each other and enjoying each other's company.
And yet at other times probably have their own interests and go and do their own thing.
And while you're just silently sitting there watching.
Enjoying being in the company of these animals.
You notice a fox walking into this barn.
Just as the cat and the dog.
Jumping on hay.
Bounding around.
And you wonder whether the dog and the cat know the fox.
Whether out here in this area.
The orchard and all this countryside around here.
They just all get on with each other.
And the cat jumps up and sits on the fox's face.
Wrapping its paws around the fox's head.
And the fox.
Submissively lowers its head down to the ground.
Then the cat gets off.
And then the fox and the cat.
Nuzzling at heads against each other.
The fox rolls onto its back.
The cat jumps onto its belly.
Then the dog joins in and the three of them play.
And then after a while.
Someone else turns up,
A farmer or someone who tends to this area.
And they see you sitting and watching and they smile at you and they engage in conversation about how you seem to be enjoying what you're watching.
As if this isn't something you see every day.
And they said that they're often working,
But when they're not working.
.
.
They'll sit outside.
I'll drink a drink.
And they'll just watch the animals interact and play.
But it's almost as if they all know each other.
They will know each others habits,
Routines,
What each other likes This person said that.
.
.
There's many wild animals.
That visit this area and they all get on with the pets.
And that the dog and the cat have been friends for years.
That when one or the other As children the other one helps out with the raising of those children.
Before those children get adopted and passed on to good homes.
And that the children Make great pets.
Because the cats that get adopted Get on well with dogs and adopted families.
And the dogs that get adopted get on well with cats in families.
And they all get on well with other animals.
And you're invited in to come and have a drink.
To explore the home of this person.
And a part of you likes being curious and nosy and seeing how others live.
So you head inside and they show the.
.
.
Almost like memory foam,
Incredibly soft,
Jelly bean shaped pillow that the cat sleeps on as a bed.
They show where the dog sleeps.
And you think to yourself that the dog seems to sleep in a more comfortable looking bed than you do.
And you admire the rustic wooden beams in this property.
The plates that seem to be just up for decoration.
Brass Objects hanging around the walls.
Paintings on the walls.
And as you walk through the property.
And out the other side of the property,
You notice there's a back garden to this property.
There's a proper garden.
That you had imagined that perhaps there would be.
An orchard surrounding the whole property and that this property was just in the middle of an orchard.
But they've given themselves an area that's a proper back garden.
With a hedge around the outside.
A couple of trees in the garden and a pond in the garden.
And they ask you if you'd like a cool drink.
And the two of you sit down by the pond.
And they talk to you and you talk to them,
You share something of your journey,
You don't tell them about the psychedelic polar bears because you don't know how they would take that and what they would think of it.
Or about the fact that you heard the polar bears speak to you.
But you tell them about your photography,
About seeing the northern lights.
About taking photos of different animals.
And they listen intently and with curiosity,
While you're both not looking at each other but gazing out at the garden,
Watching butterflies flying from plant to plant.
Watching frogs near the pond.
Being still,
Just moving their chins.
Before suddenly leaping.
Sometimes landing in the water,
Sometimes landing somewhere else.
Noticing the water boatman.
Skimming on the surface of the water.
And smelling that fresh country air.
And feeling the breeze.
Being aware of the moment.
Aware that you're only aware of the moment,
In the moment.
And while you sit there.
You hear a noise behind you.
And then notice the cat has come out to join you.
And they don't know which person's lap to jump up on.
They look at both of you.
And you have this sense almost like they don't want to disappoint someone.
So it walks under the table.
With a little bit of shade.
With just some sunlight shining down through the holes in the top of the table.
Making some dappled light.
Below the table.
And they turn themselves around.
Rest themselves down.
Resting their cheek on their paws closing their eyes and drifting asleep.
You can see their stomach moving in and out as they breathe and the two of you carry on talking for a while.
While you drink your drink.
And enjoy the warmth of the sun.
Enjoy the view over this garden.
You know that when you get home,
It's in a city.
It's looking at four walls.
And when you go outside,
You're surrounded by walls and roads.
So you want to savour this experience.
And you end up realising you've been there so long.
That the sun is beginning to set again,
So you say that you really should carry on with your journey.
Because you're probably going to have to find somewhere to stay for a night now as it's got late.
And they tell you that you can stay there.
For the night.
And you say you don't want to impose.
And they tell you that they insist.
As they say that,
You notice the cat looking up,
And you swear that you see a little smile on its face,
Before it rests its cheek back down again.
And so you head inside.
They prepare you some food.
You have a bit more conversation.
During the evening.
And after the sun has set.
You sit outside hearing the evening,
Night time sounds.
Sounds of crickets.
Feeling the cool breeze of the night,
Seeing the moon and the stars in the sky.
Sitting out on a porch like area.
And you notice your chairs are comfortable.
Rocking chair that just seems to rock very gently and slightly so while you're talking and listening you find yourself just gently rocking and you feel like you're going to rock yourself to sleep if you're not careful.
And so you rock for a while,
Before saying that you really should take yourself up to bed.
And you head up to the room they've prepared for you.
And you spend that night.
And the next day.
You wake up feeling like you've had such a wonderful night's sleep,
Feeling so refreshed,
Revitalised.
You head downstairs,
Hearing some noise.
You find they've made you the most wonderful breakfast.
And you notice that there's a child there as well.
And they say that it's their niece,
Who's come to visit.
And over breakfast the niece.
Is messing around with some makeup.
And you get told that they'd received this little makeup set as a birthday gift.
And the niece says that they're not very good at doing their own makeup.
They prefer doing makeup on their dolls and on their teddies.
And then they say,
Would you let them do the makeup on you?
And because you think this will make them happy.
You think it could be fun.
You let them do your makeup.
And you see their smile.
You see the way their eyes smile at you as you allow them to plaster makeup over your face.
There's no mirror in front of you and you have this mental image that you probably look like a clown.
But all you can see is the smile on their face,
The memories you're helping them form.
And after they've done your makeup.
They show you a little mirror.
And you realise you are right.
In what you were thinking the makeup was going to look like.
And you smile and you.
.
.
Say that they've done a great job and they say will you wear it for the rest of the day?
And you think to yourself that normally.
.
.
You're quite sensible.
But it could be interesting too.
Create experiences that make others happy and laugh.
And so you decide to say,
Yes,
I'll keep this makeup on all day.
Knowing that it'd be interesting to see if anyone comments on it.
Knowing that it might make others smile or laugh.
And bring happiness to others.
And you thank your hosts.
For letting you stay,
For the food,
For the conversation.
You agree you're likely to keep in touch.
That you'd love to visit here again.
And you head back out to your car.
And as you do.
You see that cat,
Dog and fox?
Standing back there looking over at you.
When you get in your car and you continue your journey home.
And while you continue your journey home from time to time,
You catch a glimpse of yourself in your mirror.
And it makes you smile.
Each time you see the way that makeup was applied.
And on arrival home.
You park up the car.
You head into your home,
And as you walk up some steps to your front door,
You see a little ladybird.
Walking on the wall by the steps.
And you notice that contrast between that one ladybird and a street full of bricks and concrete.
And it gets you thinking about being back out in nature again.
And about your next journey you look forward to.
And you let yourself in and you.
.
.
Going to your home,
You change into the most comfortable pyjamas.
You put on slippers.
That are incredibly fluffy on the inside.
You wrap a dressing gown around you.
You make yourself a drink.
You sit down and drink that drink.
And later on you suddenly remember you've got the makeup on your face.
And you've had a long few days.
So you go and have a warm shower.
You wash that makeup off.
Finding yourself ready now to go to bed,
To settle down.
So you sit in bed reading a book.
Listening to.
Some soft music.
Helping you relax while resting there.
Noticing the way a saxophone and the music is being played.
And somehow seems to reverberate through you.
Almost like it's falling into sync with your rhythms,
Or your falling into sync with its rhythms.
Either way you notice,
It's helping you relax deeper.
You notice with some of the lower notes your eyes just want to shut.
And drift deeper into the experience.
And so you put that book down.
You turn off the light.
And you drift and float comfortably asleep.
And while you drift and float comfortably asleep,
Finally home from your experience.
You drift into pondering about the meaning of it.
Wandering.
About whether animals really are all connected.
Whether the universe is really made up of consciousness that just needs to be in a form that can be self aware.
And you find your mind floating to these thoughts and ideas and drifting and dreaming.
About the relationship between the animals that you've met on your journey.
And the connection those animals seem to have had with you.
Since you've been up and met with those polar bears.
And while you drift asleep.
So you begin to dream of walking on the most beautiful sandy beach with that C rolling in.
With some spray of seafoam.
And you see a polar bear walking towards you in this dream.
And you find yourself eating strawberries while you're walking towards it.
And the two of you stop.
And that polar bear stands up.
You suddenly become aware of how tall a polar bear is.
When it's on its back legs in front of you and then in a deep voice.
The polar bear talks to you.
About how you've got this connection now.
Because you went in that cave.
You put your hands.
.
.
In that water.
And the polar bear tells you to hold your hands out.
And a receiving position.
Almost like a cup.
And you do this.
And then you notice twinkling and sparkling of light as something forms between your hands.
And then you notice and discover.
An amethyst appearing in your palms.
As that light fades away.
Yet it seems to still maintain a slight glow,
As if it partly seems to give off some light.
Rather than just reflect light.
And the polar bear tells you to.
Always keep this on you.
That you can make a chain,
You can attach it to the chain,
Keep it around your neck.
And it will allow you to hear the thoughts of animals and how you hear those thoughts of animals.
Will depend on how absorbed in the process you get and how accepting you are of the experience.
That allow you to channel.
Your thinking and their thinking.
And it could be that you just notice and have a sense or it could be that you hear words or hear that communication or experience the communication in some other way.
And you continue sleeping.
Through the night.
The next morning waking up.
Noticing beside you.
Is that amethyst just sitting?
Next to your light.
And you know that was more than a dream.
You know it was deeper than a dream.
And for the next few days you go out and about You lead your life.
But you find yourself being more present,
More focused on the here and now being more mindful when you see birds in the sky,
Butterflies in plants.
Bees darting from place to place.
When you see dogs and cats.
When you travel out of the city and see other animals,
Out in nature.
Suddenly you find yourself being more mindful and connected.
And present with everything.
And find that impacting.
On your mood,
On how you enjoy life.
And what you get out of life.
And how you treat those things around you.
And one night you just drift asleep.
You dream of all these connections.
You find that your mind is beginning to really deeply understand all this as if you're dreaming outside the universe.
In a way that you couldn't even put into words.
That can only be experienced.
And you find yourself drifting into the deepest,
Most profound,
Healing,
Relaxing sleep that you've ever experienced drifting and floating so deeply.
So profoundly.
Asleep.
And this sleep meditation is about a young boy who.
.
.
Is walking through a meadow along the edge of some woodlands.
And the other side of that young boy,
The other side of the meadow,
Is the most beautiful calm lake.
And this boy is walking along with.
.
.
A young little unicorn and it's a white unicorn with some slight pink patches.
On the unicorn's back.
And its sides.
And a tiny horn that spirals from its forehead.
And they're walking along through that meadow.
And they can see a large area of tulips blowing.
So comfortably in the breeze.
And two.
.
.
And tall,
Thick blades of grass.
And as that breeze blows across the grass.
They can notice the way that grass moves,
Noticing the way the blades of grass are darker on one side than the other.
So as that breeze blows across the grass,
So it appears like dark bands and then light bands passing one way and then the other across the meadow.
And the breeze is just ever so slight,
Just enough for that boy to feel that comfortable breeze on his face.
And they continue on until they.
.
.
Find a space where that meadow evens out.
And they find some stones.
Some larger stones,
Some smaller stones.
They set up a camp near the larger stones.
Where they can sit on those stones.
They make a campfire,
The young boy goes and gathers.
Some wood.
And then light that fire.
And the boy and that unicorn.
Just sit.
And relax as the sun begins to set in the background.
And while the sun sets the sky begins to turn the most beautiful shades of pinks and reds.
And the clouds begin to reflect on the surface of the calm water of the lake.
And those pink clouds overhead make it seem almost light.
The sparkling reflections catching on the waves are like little pink sparkling diamonds in the water.
And they can hear the sound of the daytime animals calming down in the woodland behind them.
The way the wind.
Is very slightly blowing a breeze through the trees.
And they sit and relax.
As the evening sets in.
And the boy looks over at the unicorn.
And thinks that unicorn looks a bit sad.
And the boy asks the unicorn if they're okay.
And the unicorn explains that as they were walking along,
They saw their reflection in the edge of the lake.
And as they walked past and saw their reflection it noticed that Its head looked so large compared to its body.
And the boy commented that.
.
.
There's nothing wrong with how the unicorn looks.
And the unicorn explained that some of the older unicorns have been taking the mickey out of them because of the size of their heads.
And so,
Since then,
It's just been playing on their minds.
And the boy listened along and was very supportive of the unicorn.
They commented about how they don't see anything at all wrong with how the unicorn looks.
But at the same time they're aware that this is how the unicorn feels.
And the unicorn is aware that the boy is entitled to their opinion as well.
And after the conversation.
They sit in silence for a little while.
As they listen to the different night time sounds.
Beginning to increase as the Last.
Glowing from the sun fades over the horizon.
And they find something deeply relaxing about these night time sounds.
The boy mentions how the young unicorns always start out with different parts of their body growing at different rates.
It's very common for many unicorns to have their heads grow slightly faster than their body and their horn.
And yet the older unicorns will already have gone through that stage.
And the unicorn is aware of this.
But still didn't like being picked on for it.
And as they sat there and they taught.
The unicorn was glad.
To have a friend like this young boy.
They regularly went out on different adventures together.
And just then they started to hear this slight popping sound coming from over the lake.
And as they gazed out over the lake under the moonlight they could see these little sparkles appearing.
Just above the surface of the water and the sparkles didn't seem to be.
Just a reflection of moonlight,
They seemed to be sparkles that were emitting light and the two of them went to the lake's edge to get a closer look.
And at the lake's edge.
They could hear that trickling water sound of the ocean.
Water gently rolling in by their feet.
And as they looked out over the lake they could see Bubbles rising up from the lake.
And bursting a short distance above the lake.
Some burst almost as soon as they left the water,
Others rose just a little bit higher before bursting.
But each single one seemed to burst into a sprinkle of sparkling light.
And the sparkling lights seem to come from the bubbles themselves.
And they were curious what these sparkles were and what these bubbles were.
And they watched for a while before hearing a slight humming or buzzing.
Approaching,
Getting closer and closer to them.
And then after a moment.
.
.
This were a green fairy flying into view and it was a small fairy and it flew over to them.
And the boy held out one of his hands and they fared.
Hovered just above his hand.
Almost touching his hand.
And the boy could feel.
The slight wavy tickly feeling of the breeze.
From the fairy's wings beating rapidly It was almost like someone waving paper close to a hand and this fairy began to talk to them.
The fairy told them.
That she wanted to take them on an adventure.
She had a mission for them to be involved in.
She asked if they were interested.
And of course the young boy was interested in adventure.
So the three of them set off from the camp.
And they headed into the woods.
And as they headed deeper,
And deeper into the woods the fairy seemed to glow brighter and brighter as if to illuminate the path ahead.
They followed that fairy deeper and deeper into the woodland.
And the fairies lie.
Illuminated the tree trunks.
Cast different shadows.
From the branches,
The leaves.
As they walked deeper and deeper into that woodland.
There was so much less light getting through here the moonlight could barely penetrate the canopy overhead.
And there is very little breeze in here deep in the woods.
And as they carried on.
Walking deeper and deeper into the woods the boy was curious.
What they were searching for and what they were going to find.
And after a few moments the fairies seemed to turn off of this path that they were following and turn along a path that seemed like no one had ever trodden it.
And they carefully push their way.
Between the trees.
Carefully navigating.
Over.
Roots sticking out from under the ground.
Around and under and over different branches.
Around different plants in the ground.
And they continued their journey deeper into the woods until they found.
.
.
A specific tree that seemed to be covered in the softest,
Greenest moss,
And the boy gently ran his fingers through and around that moss.
Feeling almost like he was touching the softest,
Thickest hair.
And he noticed how that moss seemed to have such a soft and cool feel to it and as he ran his hand around the tree,
So he noticed there was a bit of tree sticking out.
And the fairy had started to ascend the tree.
And as that fairy ascended,
The unicorn realized that they can't climb the tree.
And the boy didn't want to leave the unicorn at the bottom of the tree.
So the fairy said that they can help the unicorn to be able to join in the journey and make it up this tree.
And the fairy flew over to the unicorn.
She waved her magic wand over the unicorn's head.
Sparkles came from the wand,
Spiralled around,
Spread out,
And spiralled and surrounded the horn of the unicorn and then continued to spiral with light around the head and the body of the unicorn with that spiraling sparkling light getting brighter and brighter sparkling more and more like thousands of incredibly tiny twinkling bells spiraling around the unicorn.
And then as that spiraling light began to fade and the bells began to quieten down in the background.
So the young unicorn.
.
.
Was revealed.
To now have grown wings.
And those wings were almost like the wings of a dove.
The unicorn stretched its wings and flexed its wings and beat its wings so gently and so easily and effortlessly the unicorn raised off of the ground.
The unicorn seemed to be able to fly.
With very little use of its wings.
Then that fairy flew up into the tree,
The boy climbed the tree,
And the unicorn followed,
Flying carefully around the trunk,
Weaving between the branches,
Flying higher and higher into the tree.
And high up in the tree.
They saw.
A hole.
Into the tree.
And the fairy flew through the hole.
The boy followed through the hole.
And the unicorn.
Followed into the whole.
And as they passed through the hole,
So it was almost like they were passing from darkness into light.
They found themselves exiting the hole.
At the top of a meadow.
And they were looking down.
Over the most beautiful summer's day,
Over a river,
Sparkling in the sunlight,
Birds flying overhead,
Bunny rabbits hopping around in the meadow,
Stopping occasionally to nibble at grass and other flowers.
And then continuing to hop around again.
And the fairy said to keep following and keep up.
And so they followed that fairy down through the meadow,
All the way down to the river.
And the river was a winding.
And so they followed along the edge of this winding river.
And eventually they found themselves.
Arriving at an ocean.
Down in the distance,
In one direction.
They could see a ship that looked like a pirate ship.
And it looked like there were some small boats coming from that pirate ship up onto the shore.
And it looked like perhaps they were heading into a cave maybe.
Hiding some treasure in the cave.
And the boy was excited and wanted to go and see more.
But the fairy said.
That you're on a mission.
Sometimes when you're on a mission.
You need to keep focused on that mission.
You can't just let every exciting thing distract you.
So with one eye almost fixed on those pirates.
The boy followed the fairy in the other direction.
And that unicorn.
Is walking along.
And occasionally the unicorn would decide to fly.
They were trying to decide whether they preferred walking flying.
They found that even when they're flying,
Their legs seem to act like they're walking through the air.
And they continued along.
And they could see that there are cliffs in this direction as well.
That the ground was rising up into those tall cliffs.
And they walked along in front of those tall cliffs.
The fairy.
Guided them.
Towards a cave.
And this cave had the ocean also driving itself.
Into that cave.
And so as they walked into the cave,
They could notice the salty spray from that sea water rolling in,
Striking the back of the cave.
Splashing up.
Crashing back down and then rolling back out again.
And the sunlight from outside the cave occasionally would catch some of that spray of water.
And a fleeting rainbow would pass from one side of the cave to the other.
And then after a few moments,
The water would strike the back of the cave again,
More spray would be created.
And another rainbow.
Would carefully pass its way across the cave.
And it seemed so rhythmic.
And they continued to climb up inside that cave.
Above the water before turning down a smaller path heading deeper and deeper into this cave.
And while heading deeper and deeper into the cave,
They started to notice after a little while of darkness.
With the only light.
Being the light from the fairy.
That there seems to.
Be other lights down here.
There seem to be flaming torches.
Placed at even spaces apart.
Down the cave corridor and out into a chamber.
And as they headed out into the chamber.
Could see people milling around,
Laughing,
Being friendly with each other,
Seeming so relaxed.
They saw that there was steam seeming to.
Hover a little way off the ground.
Filling the chamber.
And they discovered that.
.
.
This chamber,
Resembles a Roman bath as if it's been built here deep in this cave on purpose.
And there are people in the water relaxing,
Floating on their backs.
Some people socializing in that water.
Those floating on their backs seem to just have their ears under the water.
Listening.
To the relaxing underwater sounds with their eyes closed.
Absorbed in their own world as they drift and float.
In that warm comfortable water.
And the three of them had it passed.
This area down into another tunnel.
Continued following this tunnel all the way to another chamber.
The boy was curious about who would build a Roman bathhouse like that under the ground.
And the fairy explained that.
.
.
There's a hot spring deep under the ground.
As the seawater rolls in,
It gets warmed up,
It rises up through the ground,
It bubbles up into these hot springs.
And so they have just built the bathhouse.
Over the top of those salty hot springs and that it creates these salty baths that you can lie back on and just float so gently and comfortably on And the unicorn thought to themselves,
They'd quite like to just go back and do that.
They'd quite like to go into the water and just drift and float and relax.
And the pharaoh explained that We've got a mission.
You've got to keep on task.
You can't be distracted by every little thing.
We need to focus on just one thing at a time.
That there'll be time for doing other things later.
And so they continued on their journey as that unicorn kept one eye looking back,
Hearing the sounds of them having fun behind them.
Receding into the distance as they continued forward.
Deeper and deeper on their journey.
And while they continued forward.
Thank you for watching!
Coming out into an even larger chamber.
And this chamber.
Is even brighter illuminated.
And it seems to have a hole in the roof of the chamber,
As if at some point way back in the distant past this cave had caved in.
And so some of that vegetation.
Had began to grow down into the cave where the sunlight had broken through and illuminated areas inside this cave.
Not only were there vines hanging down and around the walls,
And trees growing out from the walls,
The people here had created the most incredible and intricate and the most beautiful hanging garden in this cave.
With a certain level of depth and texture with the way the plants had been used.
And they could smell the smells of the plants and notice the difference and the changes to the smells of the plants as the slight breeze blew into the chamber and circulated the air.
Where you just suddenly get a whiff of a different scent of different flowers and within a few steps you could notice a very different smell of a plant.
Then a few more steps you could notice another very different smell of a plant.
And looking around.
Noticing butterflies and bees and other animals moving from plant to plant.
And noticing that there seemed to be a whole ecosystem down here in this cave.
And the boy really wanted to check out the different parts of the hanging garden.
He was fascinated by the way some bits were on different levels,
Some bits were hanging,
Some bits were overhanging,
And that the hanging garden had been built into what was naturally here.
Merging the hanging garden in with the natural foliage of this area.
Managing to give it a natural look.
And yet it was clearly designed.
The fairy said no we have to keep moving you can't just let every little thing distract you we need to keep moving and so they continued their journey they continued to walk through this area and the boy kept one eye on what they really wanted to be exploring while trying to almost mentally memorize all the different smells as they passed through them.
And eventually They arrive.
At a large wooden arched door.
And the fairy hovered near the door and asked the boy,
To open it and the boy went over to that door.
And carefully,
With curiosity,
Opened that door,
Wondering what would be on the other side.
Wondering what would be even more impressive or even more important.
Than everything that he's missed out on stopping at thus far.
And as he opens the door,
So he finds that this is the end of this cave system,
That the other side of this door opens out.
Into something that makes him feel a sense of awe and wonder.
He sees a large,
Towering Colosseum.
And this Colosseum is surrounded by the most beautiful fields of corn,
With the ears of corn just waving so gently in the breeze.
Was very little else to see in all directions.
And the boy had this feeling like time here had slowed right.
Down almost as if somehow as he was opening the door.
Time was slowing down.
As if birds were beating their wings slower,
As if the corn was waving slower and more relaxed.
As if his eyes said that they want everything to slow down,
They want to enjoy this moment.
They want to savour this moment.
They want to take all of this moment in.
And as they walked through the door and.
.
.
Down towards the Colosseum they continue to follow a path.
And while following the path,
They looked around themselves.
Looking over the corn.
Looking at the birds overhead.
Heading all the way and into the Colosseum.
And in the Colosseum.
They noticed that the floor seemed to be removed.
That it looked like it had a replaceable base and it looked like parts of that base had been removed to reveal the depths under the Colosseum.
And one thing that they could see as they walked into the Colosseum.
Was that the river which had evidently been weaving its way around the other side of these cliffs and had probably taken a very long,
Different journey,
Seemed to have reached this point.
And at this point it was flowing into and underneath the Colosseum.
Forming.
A waterfall.
And in that waterfall.
There was a waterwheel.
And that water will.
Was powering.
Fountain that was on display in another part of the Colosseum.
And they walked down to the base of the Colosseum.
They went over near the fountain.
The boy put his hands into the water.
He splashed a little bit of that water onto his face,
Over his eyes.
He could breathe in the soft smell of the water.
He could feel the coolness.
Of that water.
On his cheeks.
And over his eyes.
And the unicorn followed along,
Sticking close to that boy.
And they then headed in the direction of the waterfall.
And they followed some steps down at the far side of the Colosseum.
To go down.
Under the main surface.
All the way down and over to that waterfall.
And the fairy led them along the edge of the river.
As it flowed under the Colosseum.
And they could hear behind them.
That almost thundering sound of the waterfall and the sound of the waterwheel creaking.
The background.
And as they continued the thundering sound soothed and calmed down in the background and the water float slower and calm down.
As that river began to broaden out.
They followed the river into what seemed like another cave here under the Colosseum.
And the fairy explained that this channel was made by the water over thousands of years of this water flowing down into the ground and flowing through this rock and so this was the perfect place to build this coliseum.
Because it allowed very little effort to be able to do some incredible shows,
To be able to do fountains on display,
To be able to do other water-based displays in the Coliseum.
And as they continue to walk along the edge of the river here deep underground.
They followed the light of the fairy and the boy was curious where they were heading.
And as they continued.
They discovered another door.
And the fairy asked the boy to open the door.
And they passed.
In through the door into what was almost like somebody's house.
That it looked like somebody lived here.
It was shaped like a cave carved in the rock,
Made to be something to live in.
There was furniture that looked like it had been personally made.
Those bits of trees.
There was books on the walls.
Those various shelves and other items.
And lying on the floor.
By the fireplace.
Was a golden dog.
Seemingly just resting and sleeping there in front of that fire.
And the boy went over.
So the dog.
The boy stroked that dog.
Could feel the warmth of its fur,
Could feel the dog breathing in and out in that sleepy relaxed way.
Then the boy started looking at the books on the shelves.
And would take some of those old books off the shelves and would feel the texture of the old paper,
Would smell those old books,
Would run his fingers down the paper,
Down those pages to feel the way the ink had been written onto the pages.
And then the boy had a man's voice behind him.
And the voice said,
You like those books,
Do you not?
And the boy,
Slightly startled knowing that he'd never seen a man there,
Turned around and as he turned around.
.
.
He thought that he had got a glimpse.
Of this man seeming a bit fuzzy and he wondered whether his eyes had perhaps just struggled to focus for a moment.
Many realized.
That this man was that golden dog.
The fairy explained that this man is a wizard.
And that they are a shapeshifter.
And that there are actually a lot more than that.
And that some people in the past had referred to them as being a god and when they're here on earth they're able to look how they choose to look.
They can look like a dog,
They can look like a man,
Or look like anything else they choose.
And the man explained that before any guests had arrived,
They were feeling sleepy,
So they decided to rest in front of the fire.
And they know that resting in front of a fire is probably best done as a dog,
Where you can curl up.
You can allow your fur to absorb some of the warmth.
From the fire.
So that it almost feels like you've got an inbuilt blanket hugging you while you relax and sleep.
But once he heard guests arriving.
And then you came over and woke him up.
He knew that.
He's going to have to engage in some kind of conversation.
And so he shifted his appearance to that of a man and the fairy explained that They're here on a mission.
And this wizard asked how they can help.
And the wizard spoke with the fairy for a while.
And then he spoke with the boy about how brave the boy was and how impressed.
He is that this boy has made it this far without being distracted on his journey.
And then he excitedly noticed the unicorn and he swung his arms open and said,
Ah,
Pegasus,
As he went over and picked him up and gave him a big squeeze,
The biggest hug Pegasus had ever received.
He said i've been waiting for your arrival for a very long time and Pegasus.
Said that that isn't their name.
The man said that it is your name.
You just didn't know that it was your name yet.
He's been waiting a very long time.
You have some very important missions to do in the future and you'll know what you'll be doing in the future when you get there.
And this young boy has important things in the future.
That thou be doing.
And you'll be doing those things together.
And I've been waiting a very long time for the two of you to arrive here in this world.
And the wizard explained that that's all for another day.
That isn't why you're here now.
Just be aware that in the future you've got a lot of important things that you'll be doing.
And Pegasus.
Was confused by this.
But he quite liked the name.
And Pegasus decided that he was going to adopt that name from now on.
Because whenever he heard that name.
He almost felt a sense of his chest pushing out,
His shoulders pulling back,
And a feeling of confidence,
Like somehow that name meant something to him.
And the boy then.
Asked.
What is it?
That is the mission for him and Peggy to do.
And the boy looked over towards Pegasus and smiled.
The fairy explained that there's a tree that they have to get to.
And that this wizard can help them.
To that tree.
She explained what the tree is.
And the man said that they know exactly how to help.
And they went to one of their many bookcases.
He waved his finger along in front of the different books,
As if searching for one specific book.
And once he'd found it.
He'd stopped.
Moving his finger and his hand.
He moved his hand forward.
He picked the book off the shelf.
He opened the book.
And on the page that he opened that book at was a circle that looked almost black.
And the wizard ran his finger around the circle,
And as he did,
He made a few noises with his mouth.
And while making those noises with his mouth.
His eyes seemed to glaze over.
As his eyes glazed over.
So the black circle started to form almost like it was forming into a tunnel that leapt from the page.
Almost like a twister forming from the book upwards and outwards towards the wall.
And as it moved over to a blank space on a wall.
It continued to spin faster and faster.
And on that wall,
It started to form as if it was forming deeper.
And becoming more solid.
And almost turning into a tunnel.
And the center of that circle began to go misty.
The circle looked almost like someone was scribbling rapidly with charcoal on the wall.
With mist in the center becoming denser and denser until.
.
.
That mist seemed to disappear into the wall.
And the circle began to gain more and more depth.
And after just a few moments,
The mist started to clear.
And they could notice that there was now a tunnel leading through to a clearing.
They could see a meadow on a hill along the centre of that hill.
Was what almost looked like an oak tree.
This oak tree seemed to have slightly glistening leaves.
And the wizard said,
Okay,
Off you go.
And the fairy,
Pegasus and the boy walked through that hole in the wall and out into the meadow.
And in every direction they looked.
Was blue sky,
White fluffy clouds and just this meadow endlessly going on in all directions was just that one tree in the middle,
With the most beautiful wild flowers surrounding it.
There was no sign of any other animals.
No sign or sounds of birds.
And they walked towards that tree.
And as they got closer to that tree,
So the boy noticed The leaves on the tree seem to be shimmering with a slight golden hue.
And the boy thought perhaps there was some water resting on those leaves,
Being caught in an evening sun.
And as they arrived at the tree.
The fairy said that we need to pick as many of the leaves as we can.
And the Brühhast.
Could she not have made this journey herself?
Were they really needed to come along with her?
The fairy explained that there are some doors that she wouldn't have been able to get through because of her size and that these leaves aren't as easy as you imagine to pick and you'll find out why when you try.
And so the boy said that he'll climb the tree and he'll try.
The boy found that he couldn't manage to get a grip on the trunk to climb the tree.
So the fairy said that you were both needed.
And the boy climbed onto Pegasus' back.
And Pegasus gently flapped their wings.
And started to trot gently off the ground.
Up into the air,
Spiraling,
Trotting gently around the trunk of the tree,
Rising up that tree to the level of the leaves.
The boy grabbed one of the leaves and had to pull hard on the leaf with two hands to try to just get that one leaf pulled off the tree.
And as he pulled that leaf off the tree,
It came off almost with a snap and it was significantly heavier than he expected it to be.
The boy asked the fairy,
What is it with these leaves?
And he asked,
Why are they so heavy?
The fairy explained that this tree is a magical tree.
It's grown on a site that's got a lot of gold buried underneath it.
And because of the way this tree works,
It sucks up tiny particles of that gold,
Which spread up through the tree and spread out into the leaves.
And the leaves fill with that gold.
And eventually there's no room left in the leaves for anything else.
The only way for this tree to grow new leaves.
Is for the old leaves to be plucked down.
And so.
.
.
That's what they're here to do,
To pluck down as many of those leaves as they can.
And once the leaves are plucked down.
The remaining leaves will then be able to fall from the tree and then the tree will grow new fresh leaves over a period of time.
And the fairy explained that we need these leaves for a specific purpose.
And they pluck as many of those leaves down as they can.
And as many as they can carry.
And they continue their journey back.
With Pegasus carrying many of the leaves on his back.
And the boy carrying as many leaves as he can carry.
And the fairy trying to carry some leaves too.
And they continue their journey back through the meadow.
Back through that portal into that house and the wizard asks if they've got what they came for and the fairy says that they do and the wizard says I'll see you two in the future when you're all grown up you have important work to do and then they leave and they find their way back to the Colosseum.
They find their way back.
To that fountain.
They find their way back through to the hanging garden.
This time stopping and enjoying some time.
At the hanging garden.
Taking plenty of time to rest and relax in this hanging garden.
Before going through to the baths.
At the baths.
Pegasus runs towards the water,
Leaps in the air,
Pulls his wings in,
And dive-bombs into the water,
Making the largest splash And the boy carefully just walks in from the edge,
Turns to face his back to the water.
Lowers himself down.
So that his shoulders are under the water and then gently pushes off from the edge floating on the surface.
While the fairy waits off at the side of the pool for the two of them to finish having their fun.
And after a while the two of them Leave the baths with the fairy.
Find the way back.
Through the cave.
Find their all the way back.
To the seashore.
And back at the seashore they walk along and can see that the pirate ship seems to have gone.
And the boy is curious.
Whether they should explore that cave and see what the pirates left there.
But they decide that's something they can do another day.
And for now they'll just continue their journey.
They find their way back to coming out in the woodland,
Discovering that it's still night time here.
They descend the tree.
Head back through the woods find the way back to that path find the way along the path all the way back to the lake and once they're back at the lake.
The boy and Pegasus wonder what these leaves are needed for and the fairy explains that the first thing to do with these leaves is to make a campfire and to boil some water over the campfire.
And so,
The Boy.
Makes the campfire again.
And starts boiling some water.
The fairy says that now you just need to drop the leaves into the water.
So the boy carefully drops those leaves into the water and notices that the leaves themselves begin to disintegrate in the boiling water.
And the leaf seems to separate from the gold within the leaf.
From the veiny looking structure.
Of the leaf.
And then they take the water off the heat.
And while that water is cooling down,
The fairy tells stories about other wildly things,
Things to discover in the future.
And once the water has cooled enough.
They carefully take those leaves out of the water.
And they realize.
It's now just gold in the shape of the veins of the leaf.
And the fairy explains that.
These are needed.
To be placed in this lake.
For the next generation of fairies that'll be born that these leaves will sink to the bottom of the lake.
They'll sink down deep into the silt in the bottom of the lake.
As the next generation of fairies are born in the future.
So these leaves will become the wings of those next generation of fairies.
That these golden veins of the leaves.
Will become the wings.
Of those fairies of the future that our wings came from someone doing this many years ago.
The boy was curious how this works,
And the fairy explained that she doesn't know,
That it seems to be magic.
They seem to settle on the silt,
Sink into the silt,
And the fairies are born within the lake.
And it's just known the fairies suddenly spring into life,
Suddenly exist and have consciousness.
And then they swim to the surface in a bubble of air.
And that bubble of air is reinforced.
With a sparkling energy of magic.
And as those bubbles break the surface,
It's almost like breaking out of an egg.
They break free of that bubble of air.
In a sparkle of light.
And what were once heavy and golden are now soft and supple.
Are lighter than feather wings.
The fairy gently lands on the boy's hand so that she can just stand there and relax her wings.
And until this point,
The boy had only ever seen a slight blur behind the body of the fairy,
Where the wings were beating so fast.
And now with her stationary.
Gently resting on his hand he could see the wings illuminated by the fire by the moonlight he could see the golden color He could see how delicate the wings were.
He could see the veins of the wings and how leaf-like they looked.
Then the fairy launched again off of his hand.
And the wings turn back to a blur.
And after the boy helped the fairy.
The boy and the unicorn settle down for the night,
To relax and sleep and camp out for the night.
And the next day they headed home,
Excited by the experience that they had had.
And they tried to tell others about their experience but nobody seemed to believe them.
But they knew that the experience was real.
They knew that they would be having some future experiences.
They decided that they don't mind what others think.
The important thing is their knowledge and what they think.
And that night.
While thinking of what these future experiences and adventures are going to be.
The two of them.
Smiled and relaxed and drifted and floated so peacefully so comfortably and so relaxed asleep for the night And you can have a sense of.
.
.
A woman waking up.
And hotel.
And she's in that state between sleep and wakefulness where she feels so incredibly comfortable.
She's got the thickest,
Most comfortable duvet cover.
Wrapped around her,
Wrapped up under her chin.
Our arm,
Tucked into it,
Pulling it around.
Resting her head deeply into the comfortable pillow.
Feeling almost like.
She's resting.
A nest.
So comfortably,
So deeply.
Almost like wrapping a cloud around her.
And she can feel a slight coolness in the room on her cheeks.
From the window in the hotel.
Being open.
She can hear the sounds of birds.
Outside singing.
You can notice the light from the morning sun.
Shining onto the curtains.
Gently illuminating the room.
And the slight feeling of that on her eyelids.
And her mind is still somewhere between sleep and wakefulness,
Occasionally drifting into pleasant dreams.
Drifting back to being aware of the birds outside.
The feeling of the duvet wrapped around her.
And then drifting back in to those dreams.
And for a little while.
And she's unaware of quite how long.
She drifts backwards and forwards between wakefulness and sleep.
Just feeling so deeply comfortable and relaxed and then after a while.
She fully awakens,
Gets out of the bed.
She makes herself a drink.
She wraps a warm dressing gown around her.
She opens the curtain.
Breathes in some of that fresh cool air from outside.
Can really notice.
The sun on her face.
While she drinks a warm drink.
Which then heads down for breakfast.
And finds her attention drifting around the different people.
Trying to work out the stories of the different people,
Looking at couples,
At families,
At people on their own trying to work out the story of each of those other customers.
Looking at what different people are choosing to eat.
And she's here alone.
And so that gives her plenty of time to.
.
.
Just observe others.
She doesn't have to engage in any conversation.
She can just take her time to enjoy breakfast while observing others.
Than after breakfast.
She heads off out of the hotel,
Walks down the street.
She turns down an alleyway.
And then down another alleyway.
And there's no one else around down these alleyways.
And so she notices how peaceful and quiet it is,
Just hearing her footsteps.
Then she arrives at the back of an old building.
And she climbs.
Over a short wall.
Into the back garden of the old building.
Walks through tall grass.
Of this garden which hasn't been mown or tended to for probably many decades.
She pushes through shrubs,
Vines.
Squeezes under trees.
All the way to.
.
.
The back wall of.
This whole building.
And the windows.
Aborted over.
So she carefully prizes open one of those windows.
Climbs in through that window.
And can hear the crunching.
Of her shoes on broken glass.
As she steps down onto the floor.
Can notice.
Shards of light.
Squeezing through cracks in the boarded up windows.
Illuminating dust floating inside the building.
And noticing that her movements are churning up more of that dust.
That floats around.
Glinting and glistening.
In those shards of light.
And she gets out of talk.
Turns on that torch.
And begins to explore.
This whole building.
She notices there's a certain atmosphere here.
Almost like there's a weight to the atmosphere.
Certain stillness to the air as if this air hasn't moved for a long time until she was here.
And she explores the ground floor.
Before heading upstairs,
Creaking her way up those stairs.
Exploring the upstairs room.
And she sees herself in a mirror in one room.
And for just a moment is startled.
Before realizing it's just a mirror.
And she heads to another room.
And she sees on a shell.
Prism.
As her torch.
Passes that prism,
So the light.
Bends and turns into the most beautiful rainbow of colours,
Shining up onto the wall.
And as she walks towards it,
So.
.
.
Those rainbow colours.
Expand up that wall higher and higher and some of the glow from the colours.
Illuminates a little bit more of the room and she picks up that prism.
And she carries it over.
To one of the beams of light shining in through one of the boarded up windows.
And she places that down.
On the floor.
In line with the beam of light.
Reflecting that rainbow colour.
Up towards a mirror above a mantelpiece.
As it then reflects around the room,
Illuminating this room.
With different rainbow colors.
That as she walks through it.
So you can notice those different colors.
And she walks through to another room.
Where she finds a stack of boxes up against one wall.
And she takes down those boxes.
Takes the top box.
Opens it.
Some of the dust tickles her nose slightly.
She then fingers her way through the documents that are in that box.
And doesn't see what she's looking for.
She puts the lid back on and puts that aside and gets the next box.
And then the next box,
And the next box.
.
.
And all the first boxes that she checked.
Just have documents in them.
Paperwork.
Likely of the previous owner.
And then she starts working down to boxes that have books in them and other items.
And so she starts working through.
She looks at some of the books.
She looks through some of the different items.
And she finds.
An unusual looking book.
And she opens that book.
And discovers the middle of the book.
Has had the pages cut out.
Making a gap.
So that from the outside it just looks like a book.
But on the inside in the gap.
She finds a golden key.
And she looks at that golden key and surprised at how golden the key looks.
Given how everything else seems to have aged.
And become dusty with time.
And yet that golden key looks as pristine.
As she imagined it would have looked when it was created.
And that the way it looks,
She'd have no idea when it was created.
And it wasn't a modern key.
And so she takes the key,
Puts that in her pocket.
Closes that book.
And carries on searching.
And she finds another book.
That turns out to be a book that she feels will help her.
In what she's doing.
She puts that book.
Into a backpack.
And continue searching.
.
.
And she can't find what the key is to in here.
She finds that she's been through most of these boxes.
But she's sure that what she's looking for must be here somewhere.
If only she could figure out where.
And so she decides to place all those boxes out on the floor in this room.
And she places them.
In a grid on the floor.
She then gets a piece of blue tack.
From her bag.
Breaks off a piece of cotton.
From our clothes.
She rolls that blue tack.
Into a ball around the bottom of that thread of cotton.
She then goes and stands over the first box.
And she says to herself.
.
.
Give me a sign for neutral.
And as she says that,
Looking at the pendulum.
If it begins to swing around.
Anticlockwise.
She then says,
Give me a sign.
For yes.
And a moment later the pendulum begins swinging backwards and forwards.
She then thanks that and says give me a sign!
For now.
And gradually that pendulum starts swinging around a little bit.
Before swinging left and right.
She then says,
Go back to neutral.
The pendulum begins swinging around in a circle again.
And then she says,
Is what I'm looking for in this box?
And she waits and watches.
And the pendulum.
Answers no.
And she moves over to the next box.
She asks the pendulum to swing neutrally again.
And thanks it when it does.
And then says,
Is what I'm looking for in this box.
And after a few moments,
The pendulum.
Signals now.
And she works her way through.
The boxes.
Holding that pendulum above each box.
Asking if what she's looking for is in that box and when she's nearly at the end of all the boxes.
She asks and the pendulum signals yes.
And so she opens that box.
And she recognises the stuff that's in the box,
Having looked at it not that long ago.
And so she begins to search,
Wondering what it is that's in this box that she's looking for.
And she takes everything out of that box and places it on the floor.
And she holds the pendulum over each item.
Asking is this what I'm looking for.
Until eventually the pendulum says yes.
And what it says yes over.
Is a book.
On the front cover of that book.
Is the most beautiful.
Almost carved looking,
Weeping willow tree.
And she feels that.
With her fingertips.
The way that's almost carved or embossed.
Into that leather bound.
Old book.
And she opens the book.
And she can feel that rough paper of that old book.
She sees the date on that old book.
1736 fills the page with her fingertips.
And can feel.
The letters and the designs printed into the page.
And she can smell the smell of that old book.
And she feels how delicate the book is.
She carefully turns the pages.
And does so so carefully so as not to accidentally crack the spine or do any damage to the book.
And she tries really hard to.
.
.
Read the writing in the book.
And she understands some of it and other bits.
Of words that.
.
.
She's unsure of.
So she just keeps reading to get the gist of the book.
And she notices the way that some letters in the book are being used for different letters that you'd use nowadays.
And that the spelling isn't quite what you would use now.
And she goes through that book.
Wondering if this is the book.
And she can get the gist that there are some elements in this book.
About plants that are ideal for healing.
She notices there are potions.
There are different magical rituals in the book.
But she keeps looking through for what she's after.
But she's aware this is definitely the right book.
And that her mind obviously had recognised that when she went through everything.
Even though consciously.
She had overlooked it.
That something about the cover,
Perhaps the age of the book.
The design of the book.
Had registered non-consciously,
She just needed to allow that part of her to communicate and let her know.
What it was.
And so she carried on,
Just sat on the floor looking through that book,
Carefully turning those pages.
Until she found the chapter that she was after.
And this chapter was about.
.
.
A local spring.
A spring that apparently has healing water.
And there's a cave near the spring and she knows this is what she's searching for so she takes up that book.
And she begins to.
.
.
Place those boxes back where she found them.
Leaving everything as she found it.
She puts that prism back.
Where she found it.
She finds her way back out of the building.
Heads out through the garden.
Back over the wall.
Works her way through the alleyways,
Only this time turning a different direction,
Heading away from the hotel she's staying in,
And instead heading out to other streets and she follows those streets.
And goes to a park,
And she sits on a bench in the park.
And breathing the fresh air out here after being in that house.
She gets that book out again.
And this time as she goes through the book.
She takes notes on a notepad,
Carefully writing down.
Notes that she feels are relevant.
To what she's doing.
She writes down all the clues to the location in the woodland.
And after doing that.
She starts making her journey there.
And it isn't that far outside of the town,
So she goes on foot.
And she turns off into the woodland.
And the air is crisp and cool.
And she can hear the rustling of the leaves overhead.
She can hear the sounds of birds.
And other animals among the trees.
And the crunching of her feet.
With each step.
And she follows her notes.
Through this woodland.
Until she begins to.
.
.
Hear a bubbling,
Trickling sound of a stream.
And she heads to that stream and follows that stream upstream,
Heading towards the spring.
And after a few hours of walking.
She finds that spring.
The spring just looks very unassuming.
Just a tiny spring.
Bubbling away,
That water trickling downstream.
And she gets some of that water.
And she gets out.
Some equipment from her bag.
And she tests the water.
And everything seems that this is perfectly fine to drink.
There seems to be nothing strange about it.
And she drinks some of that water.
And there seems to be nothing.
Strange to the taste of it.
And she doesn't notice any unusual effects.
And she wonders where the cave is near here.
So she looks around.
Can't see signs of a cave.
And she starts to walk around.
And she can't find where the cave is.
So she goes back to the stream.
And she puts her hands into the water.
And she can feel the bubbling of that water around her hands.
And the coolness of that water.
And she notices that the water is bubbling through,
Slightly offset to the bottom.
Almost like it's coming through the back side of this area.
And as she rests her hand there.
She notices something unusual.
It's almost like there's a bit of a handle.
Where that water is coming through.
Puts her fingertips in.
To that gap.
That the water's coming through.
Gets her fingertips onto the thing that feels like either a root perhaps a handle.
And she pulls on it.
And as she does.
The whole ground begins to rumble.
As you can see.
The leaves on the ground and the mud on the ground beginning to dance and bounce around.
And then she notices an area where the ground is beginning to fall away.
And sink down.
And she sees the steps.
Forming.
And she can hear the grinding of the ground.
As a stairway down near this spring opens up.
She stands up.
Waits for the sound of those stairs.
To finish.
Waits for those stares to stop.
She puts her bag on her back.
Gets her taught.
And descends those stairs.
And once she's descended the stairs,
She turns that torch on.
And enters a dark corridor,
A dark underground cave.
And she shines that torch around the walls.
It looks like no one's been here for a very,
Very long time.
And she works her way in.
Around the corridor.
Descends more steps.
Follows another corridor with her footsteps echoing.
Down each corridor the slight whistling of wind.
Down the corridor.
And she can just about feel that.
Breeze on her face.
And then descending another set of steps.
Into another corridor.
And she has to pinch her nose and swallow just to equalize the air in her ears.
As she then descends some more steps into another corridor.
Where she ends up finding herself.
At the most beautiful silver door.
And on the silver door.
She can see the crack straight down the centre where the door obviously parts.
And across the centre.
Is a circular golden seal.
And in the centre of that golden seal.
Is a keyhole.
And she gets that key.
Puts it into the keyhole.
And as you can hear,
Some cogs.
As that circular seal moves aside.
And the doors.
Slowly swing open.
And as those doors slowly swing open,
So in an instant.
Flames light.
Around the walls of this chamber.
Flickering to life.
With the flickering light.
Bouncing and dancing around the chamber.
Reflecting off of golden walls.
And a silver ceiling.
And as she walks in she notices that the floor also appears to be silver.
And in the center.
Of this chamber she notices.
There's just a single plinth.
That the entire chamber is empty.
From that plinth.
And on the plane.
Is a bottle.
And that bottle looks like an old glass bottle,
An old green glass bottle.
And this is something that she's been hunting for.
And so she.
Takes that bottle.
Picks it up off of that plinth.
Places it down on the ground.
Sits herself down on the ground.
And with her torch.
She reads through a bit more of the book.
Just skim reading big chunks of it to find the bit.
About where she is now.
And she reads about this.
Area.
But notices that.
.
.
The passage on this area seems to just end without saying the outcome of getting this bottle.
It just tells her where it is.
And then the next chapter talks about something completely different.
And she decides to open the bottle.
Shouldn't know exactly what to expect.
She was just told.
That the legends are that.
.
.
All your worldly wishes.
Are contained within this bottle.
And she's always wondered whether that means that there's a treasure map in there.
Or some other treasure that can allow her to get whatever she wants.
That would make her so rich she can have all her wildly wishes.
And so she pops the.
.
.
Cork out of the top of the bottle.
And as it pops out the top of that bottle.
So she can hear her.
Path there.
Almost like the pressure had been built up for so long.
And then almost straight away afterwards.
There was an almost fluorescent green mist or fog.
Coming out of that bottle.
That seem to be heavier than the air.
That was coming out of the bottle,
Bubbling thick clouds out of the bottle.
And beginning to fill the.
.
.
Chamber that she was in.
And as it filled the chamber,
She was in.
So it's making it harder and harder to see.
And she tried to keep looking around her while that chamber was filling more and more with that green fog,
That green mist.
That was just glowing around her.
And then as it cleared.
.
.
And started to dissipate.
And she started being able to see again.
She found herself.
Sat down in the most beautiful meadow sat there in the most beautiful meadow on lush long green grass.
And she could see the most wonderful clouds in the sky.
Bubbling paths.
You can see trees in the distance.
She could smell how fresh the air smelled here.
And she wondered where here was,
And she stood up.
And she could see off in the distance.
Was a lie.
And a river leading away from that lake,
Weaving its way through the land.
And near the lake was a small cabin.
And she didn't know where here was,
But she wondered if the answers were in the cabin.
So she walked.
Through the meadow.
Towards that cavern.
And as.
.
.
She wore.
She paid attention to the sounds of the birds here.
And notice they all sound different.
To what she's familiar with.
She could see hedges and shrubs here.
But they all look different to what she's familiar with.
They all had a familiar feeling.
But they weren't ones that she knew.
And as she walked past.
A hedge.
She saw a little black fox-cub tucked away sleeping.
Filling the whole space of that head.
Looking so peaceful.
The daintiest little snores as it breathed in and out while sleeping.
And she watched the whites barely moved in and out.
And while she was watching that.
Black Fox came over.
And looked up at her.
And near that black fox were other fox cubs.
And the black fox suddenly spoke.
And took her by surprise.
It said,
He's such a hedgehog.
He just finds a hedge,
Takes up all the room.
And just slumps down and falls asleep.
And she's confused by this talking fox.
And she asks it,
Did you just talk?
And the fox says,
Of course,
I just talked.
You just heard me and you're having a conversation with me.
And she says,
Where am I then?
And the fox says,
You're here,
Where do you think you are?
And she says.
.
.
Whereas here.
And the fox says,
Well,
Here is here,
Where you are.
Here is where you are.
And the conversation goes around and around.
And she asks for.
Their names,
Ask do you have a name?
And they share their names.
And she finds it amusing.
That they've nicknamed the one asleep under the hedge Sloth,
Saying that he'll barely move for anyone.
Just likes to rest.
And drift into dreams.
And she asks,
Who lives at the cabin?
Is someone there?
And the fox says,
Yes,
Who lives at the cabin is there.
And she feels that everything from this fox just seems to be a little cryptic.
And no straight answers.
And she says,
I'm going to go there now.
And the fox says,
Yes,
You go there now,
Because there is where you're supposed to be.
Here is where you are now.
And she looks quizzically and confused at the fox.
As the fox seems to just smile back at her.
And she continues her journey.
Walk into that cabin.
Wondering where this is.
Where she can encounter a talking fox.
And at the cabin.
She walks around and tries to peer in the windows.
And she can't see anyone through the window.
She walks round to the main door.
Knocks on the main door.
And doesn't seem to get an answer.
So she knocks again.
Before saying hello while opening the door.
And she walks into that cabin.
And in front of the fire she can see a cat.
Asleep.
On a velvet cushion.
And while that black cat sleeps on the velvet cushion.
She can hear it gently purring.
And occasionally it seems to.
Move its legs as if it's running in its sleep.
Before snuggling down a bit more and powering a bit deeper.
And she looks around inside the cabin.
And she can't see anyone here.
And then when she turns back.
.
.
She sees a man standing there.
Wearing a purple robe.
And a purple floppy hat.
And the man takes that purple.
Pointed floppy hat off.
Holds out his hand and introduces himself.
And he says that.
.
.
He's the genie in this bottle.
And she asked,
Could you mean a genie in a bottle?
What bottle?
And he says,
Didn't you open the bottle and come in here?
And she says,
Well,
I opened the bottle.
And then there was this green fog.
And when the fog cleared,
I was here,
But I don't know where here is.
And the genie says here is where you are.
Haven't you already been told that?
And she says,
Yes,
I was told by a fox that here is where I am,
But I don't know where here is.
And for a little while.
Conversation seems to go around and around like it did with the fox.
And she feels that maybe everyone here.
.
.
Talks cryptically.
And in a bit of a confusing way.
And she notices that above the fire on the fireplace is a green bottle like the one that she opened.
And she says,
I opened a bottle just like that before I appeared here.
And he says,
Yes,
That is here.
She realizes that she's inside the bottle even though that seems incredibly unreal.
And she can't understand how that could be possible.
And the genie says take a seat.
And so she relaxes down into a seat.
And just as she does.
The strangest thing happens.
The her movement of sitting onto the seat.
Seems to make the seat emit a tune or a sound.
Almost like a voice.
And as she moves,
Slightly startled.
Makes a different sound and so she rests her arms onto the arms of the chair.
Ready to stand up.
And that makes it make two more sounds.
And then when the genie sits down in the chair opposite,
The same thing happens there.
And he says ignore the singing furniture.
Every movement you make will make the furniture sing.
And it will sing the song of your movement.
And its song will match your movement.
And it will sing any tension.
And it will sing any relaxation.
And so if you take a moment to relax back in that chair.
You'll notice the way that it sings softer.
Almost like it's massaging you with.
.
.
Deep resonating voice.
And she relaxes back in the chair.
As the voice sings in a resonating way.
That seems to resonate through her.
She takes a long out breath and as that leads to her body softening and relaxing so the voices around her soften and relax and sing so gently almost hypnotically almost like surround sound singing.
And she fills with each breath.
Singing softens through her body and relaxes her.
Until she begins to feel so relaxed her body becomes so still the singing softens to silence.
And this genie has just sat there opposite.
With a slight smile on their face.
And comfort and kindness in their eyes.
Just matching the breathing of the woman sat there.
And she notices out the corner of her eye the cat occasionally curling up a little bit more.
And keeping itself comfortable.
And the woman starts to explain that.
She'd heard myths for years.
She grew up on myths.
And she tracked down a bottle.
And she thought that in the bottle.
Would perhaps.
Be a treasure map or some guide to some treasure.
Maybe even the treasure itself.
But instead she's ended up here and she doesn't understand.
And the genie explained.
That they are a genie,
That they can issue wishes,
But you've got to be really careful what you wish for.
That wishing for the wrong things.
Or for the wrong reasons.
Can have unexpected consequences.
And that you don't get anything for nothing.
That for every action Something else will happen somewhere else.
Everything has its consequences and you have to be aware of that.
That as in lie.
Nothing appears from nowhere.
So if you suddenly had lots of money someone somewhere,
Or money somewhere,
Has to have transferred to you and there are risks in where that could have come from.
And so the woman asks,
Why would anyone ever make a wish?
When they have to give it so much thought.
And the genie explained that so many people only think about themselves.
They think about what it is that they want.
They don't think about the consequences.
Of getting what they want.
And that it takes a very special kind of person.
To be able to think about things in a way that benefit others.
That have positive consequences for others.
And that you have to be very specific to do that.
And the genie explained that throughout history.
.
.
They've been seen as good,
They've been seen as bad.
Some people have made wishes that have turned out really bad for them.
And then they've blamed the genie.
Saying it's the genie's fault,
The genie's evil.
The genie's bad because this bad thing happened.
When they were the ones who wished for it.
The genie was indifferent.
And was just granting the wish.
How it happens happens to be the easiest way it can happen.
That has most things in life.
The easiest solution is normally the one.
That occurs.
And the woman understood.
The idea and wonder she'd spent a lifetime dreaming of being able to get whatever she wants.
Being able to have the life she wants.
And the genie asks her,
Do you not have the life you want now?
And she gives it some thought.
And doesn't answer right away.
And the genie says,
Do you not like your current life?
And she carries on thinking.
And then concludes that she enjoyed waking up.
In such a comfortable bed.
She enjoyed going on this treasure hunt.
In fact,
She realized she's enjoyed many things that have happened through her life.
Without having any treasure,
Without having any riches.
She's enjoyed her journey so far.
And the genie said that the important thing.
.
.
Is the journey.
And is focusing.
On the enjoyment of that journey,
On the ups and downs,
On how you've got through tough times that you can look back on proudly.
That you can talk with others fondly about or proudly about.
Your successes at overcoming adversity and challenges.
Of pleasurable experiences.
The destination.
Is the end of the road.
And where do you go when you reach the end of the road?
Why would you want to rush that?
And you can have three wishes.
You just need to be aware.
That you'll be rushing to the end of the road.
And do you really want to be there yet?
When you've got so much journey ahead of you.
And the woman gives it some thought and asks,
Are you happy?
And the genie says that.
.
.
They live each day.
For the day.
They explain that they go out fishing in the lake every day.
They eat their fish for tea every night.
They go for walks.
They talk with the animals.
They enjoy living in such a magical land.
That it would be nice to get out of here from time to time.
But they enjoy being here.
And she asks how she gets out of here and they say.
.
.
When you make a wish,
You go back.
Out of the bottle.
And then you can seal the bottle.
And when you want to make another wish.
You open that bottle,
You come back in here again.
You make a wish,
And you go out of the bottle.
To the life with that wish.
And then you seal the bottom.
And then when you want to make your third wish,
You open the bottle.
You come back in here,
You make your third wish.
And you leave again and I never see you again.
And you lead your life with your third wish.
And she asks,
How are wishes granted?
Are you magic?
And the genie says that.
.
.
Not so much that they're magic.
It's that this bottle is out of space and time.
It's a land.
That's separate.
From all of space and time.
And that they were the creator of space and time.
And that every decision you've ever made.
Every alternative decision.
Was made in another universe.
And every decision everyone has ever made and everything that has ever happened,
Every alternative thing.
That's ever been made or decided or has happened has also happened.
And so,
Since the beginning of time,
Since the beginning of space.
.
.
There's an infinite number of infinitely increasing universes.
And all that happens is when you leave here,
You land in a universe.
Where all the decisions were made that led to this.
To the outcome that you desired,
To the universe you wanted to be living in.
And so you're no longer the you that's in the universe that you were in.
You're now the you.
In this alternative universe.
The one where different decisions were made on the way.
So that one moment.
And it'll be the shortest number of decisions that were needed to make everything fall in place.
Just like deciding to move a domino from one location to another so that a different path of dominoes falls down.
And the path of dominoes would have fallen down.
No longer does.
And so she asks,
Is there a way out of here without.
.
.
Having to make a wish.
And if I don't use my three wishes,
Can someone else come here?
And make wishes instead.
And the genie says no.
Only one person at a time can make wishes.
I don't grant wishes for anyone else.
While I'm granting wishes for one person,
They have to wait until that person has made all three.
And they said,
Well,
What if that person isn't around to make all three wishes?
And the genie said,
Then no one else gets to make any more wishes.
Because I've been unable to grant the three wishes for that person.
And she thinks about this for a while.
And thinks about what wishes she could ask to be granted.
And while she thinks.
The genie says,
Do you want to come outside?
And we'll stand by the lake.
While I do some fishing for the evening.
And so the genie goes outside fishing.
And the woman asks,
Do you want to be able to come and go from here?
And the genie says that no one's ever asked them that before.
That it'd be nice to be able to travel.
Into the universes.
Rather than just remaining outside of the universe.
She asked where the bottle came from.
Saying if you've been around that long.
You can't have always been in a bottle.
And the genie explains that the bottle is just a psychological representation.
That people see what they expect to see.
And it changes over time.
And then as the sunset.
She joins the genie for food.
And the cat eats some of the food politely on the floor.
And the woman knows what wishes she wants to make.
And she has to think about.
What potential consequences there could be.
From her decision.
And so she.
Says I wish for you to be able.
To come and go from here.
As you please.
And then a green mist forms around her.
And as it clears,
She finds herself.
Sat back in that chamber with the bottle in front of her.
She puts the cork back in the bottle.
She waits a few moments to see if the genie appears at all.
She doesn't see the genie at all.
She removes that cork.
The green mist appears again.
Filling the room.
And as it clears,
She finds herself back in that meadow.
She walks back down to that cabin,
Sees the genie standing there.
The genie thanks her.
Says how grateful he is.
She asks,
What sort of changes have occurred?
The genie said that for that,
The only change is.
.
.
That needed to occur was a pathway.
Ability for them to have their own way of moving in and out.
This area and into the universes and then the woman.
Thinks about how she's going to phrase the next wish.
And she wishes for the genie.
To be free to make their own decisions in life.
And then she finds herself.
Surrounded by that green mist again.
And then back in the chamber.
She seals that bottle and she places it back on the plinth.
And she turns and walks away from that room.
Just after she's walked through the door.
She notices that the door is swinging shut.
And she manages to get the key out of the door.
And before it fully closes,
She throws that key.
Into the chamber.
And the door shuts behind the key.
And she finds her way back.
Down those corridors up the stairs.
Down more corridors,
Up more stairs.
Until eventually.
.
.
She sends the steps back up to the woodland.
She puts her hand into the water.
She finds that lever.
She pulls on the handle.
And then those stairs.
Rise up again.
As the ground shakes and the mud vibrates and dances around.
And once it's all stopped moving.
She covers it all over,
Smooths down all of the mud and leaves.
To hide that anything ever happened here.
And she notices that.
She must have been down there for a long time,
Because the sun had long set.
It was now night time.
As she walked through the woods.
And she found her way through those woods.
Out to a meadow out of those woods.
And she sat down in that meadow.
Under the moonlight.
She is aware of the temperature dropping.
And she wrapped herself up warm and tucked her hands into her coat.
She sat there wondering about the experience,
Wondering about the genie.
Wondering what had changed and whether.
.
.
There really were wishes because nothing seemed any different.
And as that moonlight.
Shone across the meadow.
She could notice the glistening dancing.
Of cobwebs on the grass.
With damp dew caught in the webs like millions of diamonds across the meadow.
And while she almost hypnotically Watch.
The dancing,
Sparkling light across the meadow.
She could hear footsteps.
Coming along beside her.
And she looked over.
And saw someone walking towards her.
And then recognised the way they walked as it being the genie.
And they sat down beside her.
And they thanked her.
For allowing them to be free to make their own choices.
To lead the life they want.
That now if they spend a lot of their lives in the bottle.
That's their choice.
But they can also choose to visit different universes.
And they said they're still the same being.
They can take the form of the wind,
They can take the form of different animals.
They can take the form of the grass,
Of the sea,
Of a storm in the distance.
With a thought.
They can be on a different planet.
They can access any of thee.
Infinite universe is out there.
That they can now explore all of this and gain much greater knowledge.
About the multiverse.
That they remain eternal.
That their journey ends when the universe ends.
Just as their journey began at the start of the universe.
And they can be watching everywhere at once.
Or deciding to be nowhere.
And that freedom.
Is because of this woman.
And the woman looked up and smiled.
And then the genie reached into their pocket and they took.
Out of their pocket.
A small little treat.
It looked just like a coin.
And she took that coin.
And looked at it.
And it was the size of a coin,
It looked like a coin,
But it was very different.
To any coin she knew.
And the genies say it,
This will keep you connected.
Anytime you want.
Tool.
Anytime you want to.
Explore.
Other realms,
Explore other universes.
Carry on you all.
Treasure hunting.
And enjoying your journey.
Just hold that coin in your hand.
Close your eyes.
And just communicate with me.
Just ask for me.
And I'll be there.
And then she noticed the little black cat's head pop up.
Out of his top.
And meow a little bit.
As it looked over at her.
And the genie said that.
.
.
His cat goes with him everywhere.
They explore the multiverse together.
And the cat then said thank you.
The genie smiles.
The woman looked down at that coin,
And when she looked up again,
He was gone.
And there's just a slight breeze.
She gazed out.
And for all of thee.
Sparkling diamonds across the field.
Spread out through that meadow.
The dancing.
Light,
Of the glistening dew.
And after the experience that she'd had.
She lay there.
Wrapped up warm.
Watching as the moon set and the sun rose.
Noticing the colors of the sky as that sun rises high freshness of the air with each breath that she takes.
And feeling tired.
She found her way back in the daylight.
To her hotel.
And on arriving at the hotel.
She went to her room briefly before going and having some breakfast.
Then decided to sleep a little through the day.
And then she had a day of just going out.
Looking at the side.
Almost like a tourist for a day.
And she spent another night in the hotel.
Before heading home.
And once home,
Regardless of how pleasant.
It was to sleep.
In the hotel.
She loved the idea of going back to sleep in her own bed.
And so,
As bedtime approached.
.
.
She went to her room.
Got ready for bed.
Put that coin down on the side.
And she noticed.
That some of her jewellery,
Some of her necklaces had got all tangled.
During her journey in her bag.
And so she very carefully with her fingernails.
Started undoing the knots in the necklaces.
Very carefully prising them apart.
And as you'd get some.
Parts opened up.
Should just hold it back with a finger.
While she undoes another bit of the knot,
Which she'd hold back with another finger.
And almost hypnotically and therapeutically.
She'd find herself relaxing deeper and deeper while she undoes.
All the knots in her jewellery.
She'd find something deeply satisfying.
About going through those necklaces.
And then being able to lay down.
A knot-free necklace.
On her dressing table.
And then the next necklace,
Laying down another knot free necklace.
And then another knot,
Free necklace.
Before heading to bed.
And relaxing down in that bed.
And drifting and floating so peacefully,
So comfortably asleep knowing she's going to awaken in the morning.
Feeling alive.
And calm and comfortable and set up ready for the day ahead.
Thinking about.
This new friend she's made.
And the adventures she can potentially go on.
With the genie.
As she drifts and floats so comfortably,
So relaxed.
Asleep.
You can have a sense.
Of being on a train.
And it's an old-fashioned train.
It's a steam train.
And all of the wood of the train is carved so ornately with such incredible craftsmanship.
And you can hear that train.
Zick-a-lickety clacks over the track and you're on a long journey.
Then you're traveling out from London on this steam train.
Heading north.
And as you leave the lights of London.
So everything outside the window gets darker and darker.
And you can see the.
.
.
Shadowy figures of the trees passing by the sides of the train.
Out of the windows.
You can notice the full moon illuminating distant hills and countryside.
You can notice pockets of towns.
With small areas of light.
Dotted among those fields.
And you're on this journey with a friend.
And as it's getting later and later.
While you make this journey.
You relax back into the seat.
And you have a table between you and your friends.
You have some bits put down on that table.
You tuck yourself up into the corner near the window and the edge of the seat.
Wrap yourself up in the most snuggly warm coat.
And you just close your eyes for a minute.
And with your eyes closed,
You can feel that movement of the train continuing along the track.
Hearing the clickety-clack of the train on those tracks.
You can hear the mumble.
Of other people on the train in the carriage.
And you feel the sense almost like being rocked,
Gently asleep.
And you begin to comfortably drift and float.
Into irreverie.
And this train journey is a long train journey.
It'll be travelling all the way up to Scotland.
And you don't have a bed to sleep in during this journey.
Which is why you're going to sleep here.
And you'll try and drift asleep and stay asleep all night long.
So that you wake up just as the train arrives in Scotland and as you near your destination.
And while you drift into your reverie.
You start to have this sense.
Of paddling a boat down a river.
Almost like the rocking of that train on the tracks,
Becomes the rocking of the boat on the water.
And you begin to hear the sound of the oars.
As you push.
The water back.
Raise those oars out of the water.
Hearing the slight splashing of the water dripping off of the oars.
Before the plopping sound as you put those oars back into the water.
And push them through the water again.
Propelling that boat forward.
Little by little.
And you can feel the warmth.
Of the sun.
And begin to have a sense of your surroundings.
And discovering yourself.
Rowing down a river seeing forest on either side.
And a lush green bank.
Between the water's edge and the start of the forest.
And you realize that you're having a lucid dream.
That you're aware of dreaming.
And aware that this is a dream,
But at the same time having a level of control over the dream.
And autonomy in this dream.
And so you continue going with the dream.
Rowing.
Down this river.
And after a while of rowing,
You pull over to the riverbank.
Climb out of the boat,
You pull it up onto the shore a little.
And you can hear the sounds of the forest,
The rustling leaves,
The sounds of birds,
The distant sounds of monkeys.
And other animals in the forest.
And you can discover a sense of deep relaxation.
From those sounds.
From the greens and the blue sky.
The colours of nature.
And you set up a camp on the edge of the riverbank.
You gather some wood from the forest.
You shave off.
Some of the outside of some of the wood.
And you start a campfire.
And you sit by that campfire listening to it crackling and popping,
Feeling its warmth.
And noticing the sun setting.
The changing colours,
From the blue sky changing to oranges and reds.
And then to a dark blue.
And then noticing the stars in the sky.
Bright white and twinkling.
And noticing how,
As the.
.
.
Sky changes colour,
So do the animals.
That are making sounds.
Change as well.
The daytime animals quieten down.
And certain night time sounds begin to increase.
And you notice that the sound of the water of the river changes.
As the temperature of the air above the water changes.
That it sounds more relaxing and softer as it flows by.
Then you appreciate that glow of the fire far more.
Now the sun has set and the warmth from that fire.
And you relax back into the camp that you've built.
And as you're aware that this is a lucid dream.
You can begin to have the thought of the unusual nature of falling asleep and dreaming.
About falling asleep.
And almost with a smile on your face.
You relax back in that camp.
With the sound of that crackling fire,
The sounds of nature.
The sounds of that water flowing by.
And you drift so comfortably,
So peacefully asleep.
And the next morning.
When you awaken feeling so incredible,
So invigorated,
So full of energy and ready for the day ahead.
You're surprised to be greeted.
By the most beautiful swarm of butterflies.
With almost electric blue incandescent wings.
That seemed to shimmer.
And almost sparkle in the morning sunlight.
Almost making it look like.
Those blue sparkling diamonds flying through the sky.
Seemingly erratically,
Just shimmering there.
Discovering it's almost hypnotic.
With the amount of silence that's there.
And you watch as they fly by.
And then they begin to spread out.
And they head into the trees and seem to land in the trees.
And you notice more and more butterflies appearing and then flying into specific trees.
Until those trees almost seem to vibrate with twinkling sparkling.
Coming from the wings of those butterflies.
That seem to almost outnumber the leaves.
Of those trees.
Making the trees almost take on an electric blue hue.
And then once those butterflies have settled in.
You instinctively continue your journey.
But you continue on foot for a little while as you head along the riverbank a bit before turning into the forest and beginning to push your way through that forest.
And to start with it's hard going pushing through the forest but as you get in the swing of things you find it gets easier and easier.
And after a while.
You find yourself coming out into a clearing.
And in this clearing you can see an ancient temple that looks like an old pyramid.
You walk over towards that temple.
And you first of all walk around the temple.
You run your hands around the stonework,
Really appreciating and feeling that stonework under your fingertips.
And then you go to the entrance.
You push open a stone door.
Which seems to slide open far easier than you would expect for a stone door.
You light a torch.
Hearing that flame burst alive.
On the end of that stick.
And you walk.
Inside the temple.
And as you walk inside the temple.
So you can notice the way the light dances.
And the shadows move around the walls.
You can notice the breeze softly blowing through the entrance down into the chamber.
Past your cheeks.
Around your neck.
Almost softening and relaxing.
The muscles around your neck.
Almost like the gentlest,
Softest Massage.
Almost like fingertips.
Just gently encouraging the muscles to relax.
Giving you a sign that being here is safe.
Is a calm and relaxing place to be.
And you notice the way the sound has changed from outside the temple to inside the temple.
The temperature has cooled slightly.
You can hear each footstep gently echo off the walls.
As you walk deeper.
And dprint the chamber.
And after a while the chamber opens out.
Almost like there's a large hall.
And in the middle.
You see a hole.
And you head over to that hole.
And you shine that torch down the hole.
And you can see that it's a long way down and there's a rope ladder leading down there.
And so you carefully.
Navigate your way down that rope ladder deeper.
And deeper.
Beneath this temple.
When you turn around.
And you look around you.
You can see symbols all over the walls.
And they all seem to somehow intuitively make sense.
Although you don't feel that you've ever seen them before.
Almost like some kind of proto-language.
Something that just instinctively seems to make sense to you as you look at it.
Even if.
.
.
You've never seen it.
In the past.
And you work your way round and realise it's telling the story of an ancient civilisation.
Is telling the story of a civilization.
That was given knowledge from people from the stars.
And you continue to read this story.
Walking around this underground cavern.
Talks about.
These aliens landing.
And educating.
About where they came from.
Educating about facts.
About the Earth.
Sharing different knowledge.
It talks about some of the.
.
.
Technology that they had.
Things which.
Made no sense back then.
And then it talks about them leaving.
And then becoming worshipped almost like gods.
Hoping for a return one day.
And always looking up to the stars.
Than building temples.
Pointing up to the stars.
Trying to align the temples with the specific stars.
In the area that the aliens came from.
And then.
.
.
Once you've walked all the way around,
Almost back to where you started,
You see that the last thing seems to almost be a ritual.
That seems to say that.
.
.
There was a magic spell.
That you could do to connect with the gods.
And then it describes it.
And it says to use the chair in the middle of the room.
And so you look over,
You check out that chair.
And you realise that the chair is actually like a curved,
Body-formed rock that looks like it's carved out of a single stone.
And then you read what you have to do.
It tells you to sit on that chair and that the chair is orientated.
Towards.
The relevant star.
And you're to focus your attention on that star.
Which is at an angle just above your head.
And with all of your attention on that star.
You to count back in your mind.
And as you count back in your mind.
You extend each out breath.
Deepening.
And relaxing yourself.
And training your brainwaves.
To net to connect with a targeted.
Frequency beam.
Of psychic energy.
From the aliens from that world.
And you don't know whether this will work.
But you decide to give it a go anyway.
And so you go and sit.
On that chair.
You put the torch in a holder beside you.
You find that chair surprisingly comfortable for one made entirely out of stone.
You realise as your fingertips touch the stone around you.
That that chair,
That stone,
Seems to be so soft,
Almost like touching soft rubber,
Except that it's got the firmness of stone.
You close your eyes.
And you begin to breathe calming yourself down a little.
And then you focus on where that star is.
Just above your head.
You begin to count backwards,
And as you count backwards with each out breath,
So you drift deeper and deeper relaxed.
And the deeper and deeper relaxed you become,
The greater the connection you feel.
Almost as if.
You have this sense.
Of energy.
Beginning to synchronize.
Most likely you have two waveforms,
Two notes.
You're trying to turn the dials and you can hear how those notes are gradually getting closer and closer to each other.
You can hear the difference between each frequency.
Until all of a sudden.
.
.
You can just hear the single frequency.
And you just have the one note.
And you suddenly connect.
With that frequency.
And you realize that you're not connecting with other aliens.
You're connecting with an automated psychic beacon that seems to pulse out knowledge.
And you can feel that knowledge.
Passing down into your head,
Down through your body,
Almost filling you with that knowledge and wisdom of the universe.
And you suddenly have this sense of the word fortitude.
And you wonder about that word.
And that knowledge passes through you.
And while it's passing through you and into you and filling you up.
And you can feel yourself learning wisdom.
You notice that it's passing into you almost like it's got colors.
Like it starts working through the colours of the rainbow.
As you can feel a sense.
Almost like you have an aura around you.
Changing colours.
Until all that knowledge is within you.
And then that beacon seems to stop.
And as the beacon stops.
Your eyes open and you find yourself.
On that seat.
And you climb off the seat.
And you feel slightly light-headed with all the knowledge that's just.
.
.
Entered into you.
And you start thinking and introspecting about that knowledge and you realize that you seem to have access to everything that's just happened.
And you pick up the torch and you find your way out of the chamber.
Back up into the main part of this pyramid,
Of this temple.
And all the way out of the temple.
And as you exit the temple,
So you hear the sound of a train whistle and you suddenly feel the ground rocking slightly.
And then you hear the clickety clack of the track and then you can feel the coolness.
Of the window.
On the temple of your head.
And you gently open your eyes.
And you find yourself.
Sitting opposite your friend.
On that train,
You see that It's not yet morning.
But the sun is probably not far under the horizon.
Because there's a little bit of light outside,
Enough for you to be able to see that a thick fog that's low to the ground seems to have appeared around the countryside.
And you can see the way the train is passing through that fog.
The way it's almost spraying up like something passing through water.
And you can see when you look up that the sky is still clear.
There's just that very thick,
Low layer of fog.
You can see the tops of trees,
The tops of tall bushes.
As you pass by them.
Gradually see more more light beginning to appear.
Knowing that morning is approaching.
And then,
Suddenly,
Something unusual happens.
You see what almost looks like lightning within the fog.
And there's no sound to that lightning.
Just flashing light within the fog.
And zigzagging lights.
Within the fog.
And then in an instant.
There's darkness.
And then almost an instant later.
It seems to be the middle of the day.
And you find yourself.
On a train in unfamiliar surroundings.
You're looking out the window still.
And yet what you're looking at now is a mountainous area.
But not Scotland.
It's not the Eyrie you're expecting to see.
And even if it was,
It shouldn't have changed this much in such a short space of time.
And you notice that others on the train.
Who are also awake,
Are equally as perplexed by this.
And the train slows down.
And comes to a halt.
And a guard walks down the train.
And is telling everyone in each carriage.
There's nothing to worry about.
Something strange seems to have happened.
And they're just looking at what that is.
The driver's just trying to figure this out.
And so you and your friends.
Get out.
And walk to the door in the carriage.
And you want to go outside and investigate,
See where you are.
And so you tentatively open the door.
Peer back down the track.
Towards the back of the train.
And you can see back there.
Seems to be almost like a black hole on the track.
That seems to have some fog around its base.
What looks like electricity sparking off of that hole.
And you get out of the train.
And you walk towards that and then you see somebody appear.
Who explains that a science experiment has gone wrong.
That they're working on trying to make things invisible.
By manipulating.
Electromagnetism.
And they had to pump more and more power into their experiments.
And they were trying to hit a critical amount of power.
And then they hit that amount of power.
But instead of the thing they were making invisible turning invisible,
It seemed to open up a rift through space-time.
And that seemed to open up here.
And that it didn't just open up one riff.
That by manipulating and twisting electromagnetism It somehow warped space-time.
Opening up eight different rifts.
Almost all in a circle.
Around the central experiment.
And they've been travelling around to get to each rift.
Check each one out.
And to make sure that nothing comes through them.
Only this one happened to be right on a train track.
And unfortunately a train was coming along at exactly the point.
Where it suddenly appeared.
And the train had no way of stopping or avoiding it.
And so here they are.
And you look at those scientists.
And you can instantly notice they definitely don't look.
Like they're from your time period.
They seem to be from a time.
A long time in the future.
Just some of the words they use don't really make sense.
You can understand them.
But they seem to just talk a little differently,
Like their language is slightly different,
Yet familiar.
And so you ask about how to get back.
And they say that they'll need you to go back through with the train.
But they also need to close these rifts.
That they could perhaps do with your help.
And the help of others.
To make sure that everything goes back the way it was.
They want to know what it was about these locations.
And so they want to be able to interview the people who've come through.
They want to know about the experiences.
And so they met.
Check out that nothing else is likely to come through this riff.
They make sure that no other trains will be coming along that bit of track.
And then they begin to interview people on the train.
They find out in one carriage.
People are carrying on,
Almost unaware.
Of what's been going on,
Almost unaware the trains even stop.
They're just so busy celebrating a birthday.
Having a bunch of people standing around singing happy birthday.
To one of the children and giving them a cake,
That child blowing out the candles.
And then focusing on opening presence.
As if it's a typical morning.
And you ask why they don't seem bothered.
And they say that.
.
.
It's one of the children's birthday.
They're carrying on.
Things will get sorted in their own time.
It's not a problem.
It's just more to talk about and share about the experience.
And then in other carriages,
There are people complaining about how they want to get to their destination.
And then the staff attempting to talk to them and tell them everything will be okay.
They'll be on their way shortly.
And these scientists.
Talk to the different people.
Ask them about their experiences,
What they saw.
What happened?
What they were doing beforehand?
There's no easy way to get the train back.
Through the roof.
Because the train struggles with reversing with all the carriages behind it.
So it has to make a journey further down the line,
To a junction where it can pass onto a different track.
That curves around.
And then comes back.
To another junction that allows them to rejoin this track again.
But then when they're back through the hole,
Back through that rip in space-time.
.
.
They'll be facing the wrong direction.
So that they're then going to have to somehow safely Do a similar thing on the other side.
The driver's talking about how unfeasible that is at the other side.
And so they have to try and figure out an alternative way back through that riff.
And in the end they find that the only way is that all the people will have to go through separately to be back in their own time.
So as they get interviewed,
Before it gets sealed,
They all step back into their own time without a train.
And then scientists say that they are.
Use some of their machinery.
To push that train backwards.
Once all the people are off of it.
And so when everyone's back through.
They all stand aside.
And they can see through that hole.
Advanced looking technology.
That seems to almost hover just above the ground,
Almost hovering on blue light.
And that blue light seems to make.
The lightest humming sound.
They begin to push that train backwards while having other machines steadying the carriages.
And part of it pushes on each individual carriage,
As well as just the engine.
Because part of the problem is that.
.
.
Pushing on the engine which is the heaviest part.
Can push and end up damaging the carriages behind it.
And so it seems to be such a slow process.
That train just carefully inching its way back into this reality.
And noticing how the sun has now long risen and is already almost on the way to setting again.
Eventually just as the sun setting again,
Having spent an entire day not moving any further than this rip in space and time.
And the whole train is through.
And the scientists double-check.
That everyone is on the right side of the riff.
Before then doing something on their side and that rift vanishes.
And you turn to your friend.
And you ask them.
They just saw what you saw,
If they've just spent the day having the same experience.
Because although you know that you have,
A part of you feels you need to hear it from someone else.
And they tell you that they have just shared this experience with you.
And that no one will probably believe them.
When all the passengers try and tell others what happened.
And everyone boards the train again.
And the train continues on its journey.
But this time.
You don't fall asleep as the train continues on.
You arrive in Scotland.
And rather than arriving around the middle of the day.
You arrive very late at night,
Many hours before the sun's rising.
And you leave the train.
You head off to a hotel that you're staying at.
You sit in the bar for a while,
Talking.
With your friends.
You have a meal.
One of you.
Eating kidney,
The other eating lasagna.
And then you head off to bed.
You go up to your room.
You find RIM-42.
Open the door.
You get that smell of a hotel room.
In an old hotel.
Full of wooden beams.
You lie down on the bed.
The most comfortable bed.
You've ever slept in and you wonder whether That bed is extra comfy.
Because of the journey you've just had,
Because of the couple of days you've had.
Because your last night's sleep was leaning on a window.
And you sink so comfortably into that bed.
And you drift peacefully asleep.
And the next day.
You awaken in good time for breakfast.
And you sit.
At the desk in the hotel room.
You pick up the most beautiful fountain pen.
That's on that desk.
And the hotel's own notepads.
You decide to write with that pen and you can hear the slight scratching sound of that pen as it moves across the pad.
You can see the ink.
Going from wet to gradually drying on the page before your eyes.
And feel the flowing.
Of letting.
Through the pen.
As you continue to write.
And so you continue to write that note,
Just writing down your thoughts from the last few days,
Writing down what you've been grateful for.
What you look forward to.
And a smile can come to your mind while you read that back to yourself.
Before,
Tearing off the sheet of paper from the pad,
Folding that sheet of paper and keeping that sheet of paper on you.
While you leave the room,
Head down for breakfast.
And you meet your friend at breakfast.
And then both.
After breakfast,
Head off out,
Feeling the coolness of the air outside the hotel.
Seeing these Scottish Highlands.
And hiking your way up.
Into those highlands,
Looking over the locks.
Smelling that fresh,
Clean air.
Feeling the wind on your face.
And just enjoying being in nature.
And then there's you.
Hike.
Across the highlands.
You see someone walking towards you.
And as they walk towards you,
You look forward to seeing the dog that they've got walking beside them.
But as they get closer,
You notice it isn't a dog.
They've got a cat walking along beside them.
And they stop and they say good morning.
And as they stop and say good morning,
You look down at the cat.
You see the cat has stopped also,
And the cat.
Is now weaving.
Around this persons legs.
They notice you looking at the cat and they say that the cat Tyrone goes everywhere with them.
That Tyrone loves adventures.
And so you lean down and you crouch down and Tyrone comes up to you.
Knocks his head against you.
You put out your hand,
He rubs his head against your hand,
Then his neck.
Wiggles his ears and rubs his side against you.
And his tail.
As you let his tail slide through your hand.
Before Tyrone turns around.
And comes back to rub himself against you again on the other side of his body.
Before then seeming to almost lose the use of his legs.
And flopping down like a heavy weight onto your feet.
And starting to purr.
And you almost instinctively have that sense of stroking.
His belly,
His side,
And you can feel the warmth from him.
And after a little while of stroking his belly.
Even though he's purring away,
Suddenly he seems to clasp at your hand in a playful way.
Almost seeming to wrestle with your hand.
And then you know you have to continue your journey.
And they have to continue theirs.
And so you stand up.
And you can see that Tyrone really wants to stay and play.
And you know that you can't and they can't.
And so you continue your journey.
And once you're at the highest point you can go.
You look out over the view.
You close your eyes,
Breathe in some of that fresh air.
Breathing that deeply into your lungs.
Almost like breathing in relaxation and then breathing out any stress or tension.
And then you gaze down over a lot.
And you can see that it'd be very easy to make the journey down to one of those lakes down there.
And so the two of you head down towards that lake.
And when you arrive at it.
You put your hand into the water on the lakes edge.
And you feel that that water seems to be surprisingly warm,
That you're expecting it to be cold.
Then your friend explains that this specific late is over an area of hot rock.
And so it always stays much warmer than the surrounding areas.
And so you get yourself.
Kitted up for going for a dip in the lake.
You tentatively walk.
Into the light.
And once you're up to your waist.
You lie back.
And you close your eyes and you just feel that weightlessness.
Of floating.
On the light.
Warmth of the sun on your face,
The coolness of the breeze on your cheeks,
The feeling of that water.
Tickling your skin.
With the surface tension.
That water being of a temperature that's just right to make it so that with your eyes closed.
As the water becomes more still.
As you become more still.
You can almost not realise you're floating in water.
The temperatures so similar to your own.
That you just don't notice it.
And you could be floating in space or anywhere.
And you find it such a peaceful.
And relaxing experience.
Then you hear a splash as your friend has come in the water as well.
And then they do the same.
And the two of you just float around for a while.
Before heading back to shore.
And getting dressed far quicker than you got undressed.
Because of the coolness of the air against your wet body.
And then you see,
A little way along the shore,
Is a cabin.
As you feel that maybe that would be a good place to warm up.
Having come out of that water,
You head down to the cabin.
And it doesn't look like there's anyone there.
But you knock anyway.
And no one answers.
And so you open the door and say hello as you open the door.
And the door gently creaks open.
You walk into that cabin.
And the cabin is dim with just the ambient light shining in through the windows.
As you open the door you disturb some of the dust in the cabin.
And can see that dust dancing and floating in the beams of light through the windows.
You walk over.
The fireplace.
And you see that there's wood in the fireplace that can be lit.
And so you light that fire and instantly That's the most beautiful glow in this cabin.
And with that glow,
You begin to see more about what's in the cabin.
You can see that There are bookshelves around all the walls.
Densely packed.
With old books.
And you walk over to one of those shells.
And you blow the dust off the old books and as you blow that dust so the dust seems to spread from the books as if you've just blown glitter.
It just seems to sparkle and seems to almost chime,
Almost like the softest bells have just been blown off that shelf.
The tiniest,
Almost like microscopic bells,
Thousands of bells.
All catching the light.
Sparkling and twinkling.
Is that chiming?
Softly fades.
And then you blow again on the dust.
And this time you notice a very slight glowing around the book.
And you wonder why you didn't notice that the first time.
But then think perhaps you were just too preoccupied.
By the sparkling dust.
And you pick one of those books off the shell.
And you carefully open that book.
And as you do,
A blue light begins to just gently shine from the pages.
Illuminating the room.
You begin to feel this deep sense of well-being,
Serenity,
As if somehow emanating from the pages of that book.
Straight onto your face,
Onto your cheeks.
And then through your body.
Is that light healing.
Relaxing.
And you turn the page and there's a green light.
Seeming to heal and relax through you.
And then you turn the page again,
And another shade of light.
You realise that somehow these books on this bookshelf.
.
.
The magic.
And as you then reach forward.
And touch the sides of the bookshelf.
So the whole book shall.
Vanishes.
And in place of the bookshelf.
You just see the frame of that shell.
And you see an entirely new world.
The other side.
And you look back and your friend is just sat there in front of the fire keeping warm.
And none of this has particularly made much sound.
And they don't seem to be aware at all of what has just happened.
And so you get their attention.
And they looked over,
Startled.
By what they see.
And you take your hands off the side of the bookcase.
And all the books are back in place.
And you wonder how this works from the other side.
Whether you'd be able to make it through again.
And you don't know whether you want to explore it now.
Whether maybe you'll come back here sometime in the future.
And as you're wondering all this,
So out of the window.
You see that person and their cat walking past again.
And you open the door.
And you talk to each other about how you're seeing each other again.
And they say that they're just continuing wandering,
Exploring.
That they've headed one way,
Turned around,
And now they're heading home.
And you ask who owns?
This little shack.
And they say they don't know.
It appears to be abandoned.
It's been here for years.
This cabin.
They've never explored it themselves And while you're having this conversation,
So the cat.
Comes up to the cabin,
Wanders into the cabin,
And seems to enjoy being by the fire.
And then it walks over to one of the walls.
And it sits staring up in the corner.
And at first you don't notice and no one else notices.
Then after a while.
.
.
You're aware that this cat,
Which is normally very friendly.
.
.
And makes itself known.
You're aware that it hasn't been doing that.
And this somehow,
Despite it being inaction.
.
.
Seems to interrupt the conversation.
And you find yourselves looking at the cat.
Wondering what the cat is looking at.
And you go.
.
.
Over to the cat.
And you ask the cat,
Almost expecting a response,
What they're looking at.
And you almost get down on the same level as the cat and you look up at the eye level of the cat trying to see what they're looking at.
They just seem to be sat there staring and then you hear the floorboards creak slightly.
And you don't think anything of it really.
It's an old cabin.
Until you notice the cat's eyes have moved.
And you realise this cat seems to see something that's unseen.
And so you pretend that you haven't noticed this.
And you walk round in front of where the cat's looking,
Where its eyes are tracking.
And you quickly step sideways to be in front of wherever they're looking.
And you feel yourself bumped into.
And as you get bumped into,
So a person fully dressed in purple.
Seems to almost decloak in front of you.
And this startles everyone for a moment.
But you quickly realise that they seem very friendly,
And they explain that this is their cabin.
They've lived here for centuries.
That they look after the lot.
They make sure that the magic here is looked after.
And they're not really good with people.
So they always make themselves disappear when people are around.
Hoping that people will just stay briefly.
Before moving on and carrying on with their journeys.
And it's rare.
For people to stay longer than that.
The people normally.
A hiking from one location to another,
But perhaps just need somewhere to rest very briefly.
And so they explain that.
They just make themselves invisible and stand in a corner.
Out of the way.
People come in,
They look around,
They admire the place,
And people normally then,
Once rested and refreshed,
Carry on with their journeys.
And are perfectly respectful.
The environment of the cabin.
Are that in hundreds of years.
You're the first.
To notice them.
And so you ask them.
If they're hundreds of years old,
How long do they live?
Who are they?
Where are they from?
And they explained that there was a time.
When there were wizards,
There were witches,
There are many creatures that are nowadays thought of as mythical.
And that some things have passed into legend.
And some of those legends are true.
Others,
Or exaggerations of the truth.
That there's even a lady who lives in the lake outside.
It just turns out that there are stories about a lady in a lake.
And they got the wrong light.
Because the stories have travelled through time.
And there's a sense of fascination.
At what's being told.
And they ask what's through.
The portal or through that bookcase that they saw.
And they say that's a connection to a spirit world.
To a world where many of the mythical creatures still exist.
A world where everyone's free to be themselves.
Where people don't hide.
The fact that they can do magic.
People aren't afraid of dragons.
The world there.
Hasn't progressed in the same way as the world here.
It's just one of those connecting points between the two worlds.
But that you can never really go through there if you're just a normal human.
Because as soon as you release your hands from the bookcase.
The portal shut.
And on the other side of the portal.
There isn't.
A way back.
By doing the same thing.
But there is ways humans can go through and can return.
But it's best to have guidance to do that.
And as it's getting later and later.
They advise that that isn't something for them now.
And the person with their cat,
Tyrone.
Almost in a state of confusion.
Continues their journey and the whole time this wizard was talking.
The cat was rubbing themselves against him.
Circling through his legs,
Trying to climb up onto his lap.
And he would pet that cat.
And so they carried on their journey.
And you and your friend.
Carried your journey on.
Heading back.
To the hotel.
And you knew that you'd be spending a couple more days here.
Before heading all the way back.
To London.
Hoping that the train journey back will be more straightforward and less eventful than the train journey here.
And that the entire experience has been an unusually eventful one.
With two separate types of portals.
A scientific portal you did pass through.
At a magical portal.
You wanted to pass through.
And you know you'll be wanting to come here on holiday again.
And on arrival back at the hotel.
Aching a little from all the walking.
You head down.
To the spa.
You relax in a jacuzzi.
And in that jacuzzi.
The floating lotus flowers.
But just gently move on the surface of the water.
As you lie back.
Close your eyes.
And just feel the bubbles.
Massaging your legs around your belly your arms,
Your back.
And up around your neck.
And then you go and spend some time in some of the spa rooms.
Smelling different smells.
Deeply relaxing.
And that night heading to bed.
Knowing you've got more holiday to look forward to.
More memories to make.
And you feel so deeply and comfortably relaxed.
You find it so easy to just drift and float asleep.
And after a few days,
On holiday here.
The two of you make an uneventful journey all the way home.
Arriving late at night in London.
Heading back to your home in London.
And despite the pleasure of being away.
There's a strange sense of even more pleasure at being back home,
At sleeping in your own bed,
Settling down in your own bed.
And you close your eyes.
And you begin to breathe so comfortably.
And you drift asleep,
And as you drift asleep you almost have this sense of your eyes being open even though you know they're closed And you know that's a sign you've gone so deeply and comfortably asleep.
So deeply and comfortably asleep.
That you've begun dreaming.
That you're lucid back in your dreams again.
And you find yourself using this experience to learn.
To piece together the knowledge,
The wisdom of everything you've experienced.
How the science and the magic may connect.
How the dreams you had during your journey may be connected to all this.
As you have this sense almost of floating out of your body.
Gaining a new perspective on everything.
Having the sense of beginning the experience.
Of deeply connecting and understanding the world.
Having a tantalizing feeling.
Everything being just on the tip of your tongue.
And within grasp.
And with that sense of wonder and curiosity.
Knowing when you awaken in the morning you'll always feel so good and alert and refreshed.
You enjoy the experience of drifting.
Floating.
Relaxing.
Asleep.
And as you drift peacefully asleep.
I'm just going to tell this story about a woman who goes out on her morning walk like she does every day.
Only this time.
She finds a bottle in a stream.
That leads her on a journey.
To discover.
A secret temple.
And she enjoys a peaceful life.
Every day she wakes up.
She goes for a morning walk.
Enjoying the fresh air.
Breathing in that cool air,
Feeling the cool air.
Passing through her nostrils.
Pulling that air down.
Into her chest.
Then exhaling the warmer air.
As she feels a deep sense of peace and inner relaxation walking along listening to the sounds around her.
Listening to.
Sounds of birdsong coming from the trees and the hedgerows.
The scampering sounds of squirrels.
As she walks through this quaint,
Quiet village.
And out into the countryside.
She can see the rabbits across the field.
You can see pheasants in the fields,
Colourful male pheasants.
And the harder to spot.
Mottled brown female pheasant.
Hearing the occasional pheasant call.
Seeing the wispy clouds.
Gently passing overhead.
And occasionally.
A bird of prey just slowly circling.
Then moving on to a different area.
And circling that area.
Barely flapping its wings.
And as she walks.
Notice the way the sound changes.
With each footstep.
Depending on what she's walking on walking along.
Path into the countryside.
How that sound of the walking changes as she walks on too.
Hardened mud.
And continues on to grass.
Then passes.
Into the woodland.
Feeling the change of the air temperature.
As she walks through the trees,
Out from the sunlight.
And that there's also a change in.
Quality.
Of the sound around her,
And that she starts to notice slightly different sounds,
The way Certain bird sounds echo through the woodland.
And spying.
A stag among the trees.
Catching the slightest glimpse.
That stag stood stationary.
Trying to blend in.
Avoid detection.
Stopping still herself to watch and get a better look without disturbing or scaring that stag off.
And then as the stag just gently walks deeper into the woodland.
Woman continues to follow her path.
Slight crunching sound.
Underfoot.
Seeing the shards of light.
Dancing.
In front of her.
As those areas of sunlight just penetrate through the canopy overhead.
And every day she goes on this morning walk.
The shards of light.
Passing through the canopy overhead.
Dancing in front of her.
Catch the dust in the air.
Almost looking like dancing diamonds.
And while walking through those shards of light.
She can feel the slight temperature change,
Especially on her face as the light passes across her cheeks She enjoys the silence of this walk.
Peace and harmony of this war.
Deeper and deeper.
Into the woodland.
And after some time.
She begins to hear.
The gentle distant sound of a flowing stream.
Continues to walk through this woodland.
Softly relaxing.
Occasionally drifting into her own mind.
Pondering different thoughts and ideas.
As the woodland begins to slant downhill slightly.
She follows this woodland down that hill.
Till she comes to.
A point where The gently trickling stream comes alongside where she's walking.
And she can see thee.
Water.
Flowing down over stones,
Around stones.
Bubbling and splashing its way down.
Occasional twigs and leaves.
Flowing down on the water's surface.
Racing down that stream.
And she follows that stream.
All the way down.
The edge of this woodland.
And as the stream reaches the edge of the woodland.
Soul.
It begins to get wider.
And begins to get softer and calmer.
And she follows that stream out into a clearing than this clearing.
The meadow of wildflowers.
As you can see.
Bees and butterflies.
Walking away in the meadow.
Tootling along from plant to plant.
Holding on to plant.
As they sway in the breeze.
And she heads out into this meadow,
Continuing to follow this gentle stream.
And heads to a tree trunk.
Alongside the stream.
Takes a moment to sit on that tree trunk.
Closes her eyes and just listens to the sound of that water.
As it bubbles past her.
Smelling the fresh water smell.
Feeling the warmth of the sun on her face.
Noticing.
The light and dark passing across her eyes as wispy clouds pass across the sun feeling the warmth of that morning sun.
And she opens her eyes and crouches down.
Get a sense of what that water feels like,
What temperature the water is.
She touches the surface of the water with her fingertips just passing them gently through the surface of the water and she can feel that water as it rushes around her fingers rushes through her fingers,
Almost a tickle touch feeling.
Through and around our fingers.
Wow.
A hand is in the water.
Something that's bobbing its way down the stream.
Suddenly knocks into her hand.
She pays attention to what that was.
It knocks her out of her reverie for a moment.
And she sees that it appears to be.
An opaque bottle.
And it looks curious.
So she stands up and she follows that bottle.
Walking fast along the edge of the stream to catch up with where the bottle is.
Comes alongside that bottle and watches for a while.
As she walks alongside it and it.
Continues bobbing its way.
Down the stream.
She gets slightly ahead and then reaches in,
Grabs that bottle.
Goes back to that trunk,
Sits down on the trunk.
While sitting on the trunk.
She looks at this bottle.
And the bottle is broad enough that.
.
.
A thumb and fingers don't meet while she holds it.
And she twists that bottle around and looks at the base of the bottle and she can't see into the bottle but she notices the base.
Is indented.
And there are symbols on the bottom round the edge of the bottom.
She can't understand.
She thinks to herself she'll try and do a bit of a Sherlock Holmes.
Tries to see if there's any way of working any information out about this bottle.
Couldn't see any markings on the base that would reveal.
The location,
Only the symbols that she didn't understand.
There was no labels on the bottle.
There was no markings around the side of the bottle.
The top of the bottle had a cork in it.
And all she could think was that the style of the bottle made her think of some Roman pottery.
And Roman bottles that she had seen.
That had a similar style.
But she wasn't sure if it could possibly be that old.
Because that would make it at least.
.
.
1600 years old.
And she wondered how it got into the stream.
If it was that old it would have somehow.
.
.
To be dislodged or somehow made it into the flowing stream.
She thinks to herself it makes more sense that perhaps.
.
.
Someone was just littering and just threw the bottle away.
And she shook the bottle next to her ear.
I couldn't hear anything in the bottle,
No movement at all.
She tipped the bottle upside down and up the right way and upside down and up the right way.
Didn't feel like there was anything in it moving.
No liquid,
No objects,
Because if there was The weight would have displaced and Move.
As she moved the bottle.
She wondered if it was an empty bottle,
How was it corked?
Did someone manage to just squeeze this cork into the bottle?
What would be the purpose of someone doing that to an empty bottle?
And she decided that she would pull that cork.
Out of the bottle.
Out of curiosity,
She thought,
It's not like there's anyone here who wants this bottle.
It doesn't seem like it belongs to anybody.
And so tentatively,
Carefully.
She pulled on that cord.
And at first.
Didn't seem to be making any difference.
So she pulled harder and harder.
And felt like she was putting a lot of effort into pulling that cork from the bottle than all of a sudden.
In an instant.
The cork popped out of the bottle in her hand.
And she had her genitals.
As if there was a release of gas.
And then there was silence from the bottle.
And then suddenly.
.
.
An explosion of gas.
Straight up vertically.
From the bottle.
And this gas.
Had a green hue.
And she watched as that green hue gas.
Rose up into the air,
Narrow and vertical at first.
And then spread out.
And almost seemed to be heavier than the air because it started to seem to fall down.
Not straight down back towards the bottle,
But it was falling down almost as if it was reaching a certain height.
And then just falling down.
Alongside the bottle.
And she could see it settling onto thee.
Tree trunk beside her.
There was a lot of this gas and as this green gas was touching the tree trunk so it was like green dust or green dusty paint.
Touching the trunk,
It was looking like it was starting to stain that trunk.
The gas seemed to be falling thicker and faster and faster and thicker.
And still spraying up.
Out of the bottle.
She was just holding the bottle almost mesmerized,
Surprised at what she was seeing.
Curious how so much gas can fit into such a small space.
And that green gas was thickening alongside her.
And seemed to be growing,
Almost as if it was creating a stain on the tree trunk,
And that stain was getting thicker and thicker.
Like building up dust over time.
And after some time.
.
.
She noticed that it wasn't just.
Dusty.
Gas from this bottle.
Settling randomly beside her.
It seemed to be settling with some kind of order.
And this dust.
Continue to settle.
Getting thicker and thicker.
And as this dust settled thicker and thicker beside her.
She thought it resembled 3D printers printing something.
Like it was building something from the ground up.
But she had no idea what.
And it seemed to be taking a very long time.
And after what seemed like an age.
She noticed that.
This green dust had been building on the grass in front of the trunk as well.
And that that was catching up.
With the height of the trunk.
Two neat piles.
And then the dust accelerated in how fast it was spraying up into the air and landing beside her.
And it started to get more chaotic to see exactly what was going on.
But after a while the dust started to slow.
And she started to notice it becoming clearer about side her so that she could see what was there.
And she saw this person in green.
With unusual green skin.
Sitting beside her.
Looking at her.
As the dust finished settling.
And stopped spraying from the bottle.
And they reached over and they took the bottle from her hand.
While she was in a bit of a dazed state at what she was seeing.
And they took.
The cork from her other hand.
They smiled at her and thanked her.
For the bottle and the core.
And for opening the bottle.
And they place that core.
Effortlessly into the top of the bottle.
And place the bottle into their pocket.
They explain that they're a genie.
That they had been trapped in that bottle for centuries.
That all the time they've been trapped in that bottle they've been waiting for somebody to find the bottle and release them.
That they have a problem that they need help with.
An evil wizard.
Centuries earlier.
Had removed their power.
To grant wishes.
And so they're now a genie with no ability.
To grant any wishes.
And they've required help.
To be able to do so.
And that she's the first person in all those centuries.
To open this bottle who may be able to help.
And this genie explains that.
They need the woman too.
Go in search of a secret temple.
And the woman explains that there are no temples here.
There's a village just nearby.
There's a church in the village.
If that's what the genie's talking about.
Which doesn't know of any secret temples.
And the woman asks why they can't do it themselves.
The genie explains that they'll come along with the woman.
But they can't access this secret temple.
The spell that the wizard had cast.
Their ability to grant wishes within that temple.
And placed a spell.
On the outside of the temple.
Prevented.
Any magical beings from being able to cross the threshold into the temple.
And then the wizard banished them back into the bottle.
Sealed the bottle.
And buried the bottle.
And they have no way of escaping the bottle themselves.
They always rely on someone else to come along and do that for them.
And so the woman agrees to help.
She says she doesn't know where she can start helping and finding this temple.
The genie says they can help with that,
They just can't access the temple themselves.
And out of their pocket.
The genie takes what looks like a compass.
Hands it to the woman and says here you can use this to direct us to the temple.
Explaining that this compass works by detecting quantum displacement.
The woman asks what that even means and the genie says that the wizard is a multi-dimensional being.
And as a multidimensional being.
It travels from place to place,
But as it does,
As it appears in one dimension or leaves a dimension,
It creates a quantum displacement trail.
And that even while the being is moving through dimensions,
It doesn't move through dimensions in the same way that non-magical beings move.
It doesn't walk through three-dimensional space.
It passes through.
Multidimensional space.
And so there is a path.
That can be followed.
And the woman says,
But if this wizard did this hundreds of years ago.
.
.
What are the chances of that being here in this location?
And this secret temple being anywhere nearby.
And the genie explains that.
The residual traces of the quantum displacement will last for thousands of years.
Even just the subtle traces are enough.
For this compass to detect and illuminate.
And that the only way their bottle could have been found here.
As if it somehow had dislodged.
Fallen into the water or passed into the water.
To then be found.
The bottle must have been buried somewhere near this water.
And the woman turned on the compass by pressing a button on the side.
And as she turned on the compass.
So she saw a pulse of blue light.
Emanate in all directions from the compass.
And as the blue light dissipated,
So it left trails.
That she could see.
Like the faint.
Lines of dissipating.
Contrails.
From aeroplanes.
Then as the trails were fading there was another pulse of blue light.
From the device.
That dissipated but left.
The hint of those trails.
And at regular intervals,
This device kept pulsing.
And the genie explained that these trails are the trails.
Of magical beings.
And that there aren't that many magical beings.
In this plane.
And so one of these.
.
.
Trails must be the wizard.
At first they follow back along the stream,
Head back into that woodland.
But this time instead of the woman following the path she had followed before.
Follows the stream,
Taking her off the path and deeper into the woodland.
She finds her way all the way to the source of this stream.
And can see that it starts with a pool of water.
Gently bubbling up from under the ground.
And the genie observes that it looks like this water.
As perhaps eroded away some of the ground beneath it.
It's bubbling up from,
And that a bottle being buoyant means that once it was eroded into the water It would eventually find its way to the hole that leads to the surface and pop up through that hole and then just flow down with the water.
The two of them look around.
Curious where the water might be coming from.
That then rises up from underground.
And there are some nearby hills.
And so they assume that somewhere just beneath their feet.
.
.
Is probably a hollow area.
An area that this water is slowly eroding.
Maybe a cave full of water.
Tracking device pulses.
And there's just a single trail a little way away.
And the genie says,
I bet that that is the wizard's trail.
It's the only trail here.
And it's near where the bottle found its way to the surface.
So perhaps the bottle was buried somewhere over there.
And the trail looked very muddy at that one point.
And the genie said that that would make sense because.
.
.
The wizard would have been on that spot for quite some time,
Moving around.
And the woman asked,
Does the genie not leave a trail?
And they said that although they are a magical being,
They're a different class of magical being.
They disappear and reappear in a very different way.
They don't have to walk through time and dimensions.
And they explained about how they operate as genies.
That they're like time travellers.
And their bottles alike.
Time travelling devices.
Though the bottle may seem small.
But a whole world is contained within a genie's bottle.
The world is a very isolating one.
Inside a genie's bottle lives animals,
Plants,
But only one.
Genie,
Only one of their life forms.
Her bottle.
And so it can be very lonely inside the bottle.
But time inside the bottle is very different from time outside the bottle.
Moments can pass inside the bottle when years have passed.
Outside of it.
And when genies are out of a bottle.
They can get themselves back into the bottle.
And when they're out of the bottle.
They have to move around and operate.
In the same way that any other being in that world has to operate.
They're not multidimensional.
But the other beings.
They explain that they can't get themselves out of the bottle so once they're in the bottle They're trapped in the bottle until someone frees them.
And the woman talks to the genie about that sounding like a very lonely life.
Why on earth would they ever put themselves in the bottle?
And as they were having this conversation,
They were walking.
Out of thee.
Woodland across the meadow.
Following that faint sound.
Blue path likely left by the wizard.
Which is revealed with every pulse of the device.
And the genie explains that The role of a genie.
Is that you're born into existence through magic.
You just find yourself aware one day.
There's no knowledge of where you came from,
You're just suddenly there and aware.
And you're in this world.
So incredibly beautiful.
And you don't feel hunger or thirst,
You just exist.
You don't feel tired.
You just are.
And in your mind.
You just have certain instinctive innate knowledge.
So no knowledge of where you came from,
How you sprung into being.
But you are aware.
With instinctive knowledge.
That you are in a world created and designed for you.
And you're aware that you're in a wall.
With a purpose.
With destiny.
And that your destiny is to grant three wishes.
To an individual.
That brings them happiness.
And passes something positive on.
To their life.
That that individual will then pass on to others.
And your role is kind of as a guide.
That every time someone calls upon you.
You let them know that you can grant them three wishes and that they're to use those wishes wisely.
And to give thought to those wishes.
And you grant those wishes honestly.
Exactly as they were asked.
That you don't have the power to grant them something different to what they ask.
So if they ask for something and you know that they mean something slightly different,
You can't say that you know they mean something different.
You can just ask if they're sure that that is what they really want.
And you warn them against the risk.
Of making a wrong wish and of having to really think through the wish before you say,
Yes,
I'm certain that is the wish I want.
And then when you click your fingers as a genie The exact wish they asked for is what is granted.
And with practice as a genie you get better at.
Helping to guide those who ask for wishes.
But it is once you manage to grant three wishes for somebody.
Where they're content and happy with the wishes they received.
And those wishes have a positive impact on the lives of them and others.
And you know you've done your piece for the world.
It is only at that point.
That you stop.
Disappearing back.
Into the bottle.
And instead.
Get to ascend to a higher land.
To a higher dimension.
Every time you grant wishes.
Where the wishes don't work out positively.
And they make the person's life worse in some way.
There's nothing you can do about that.
But at the end of granting the three wishes.
You instantly disappear back into the bottle.
It doesn't matter how much that person tries to open The lid.
Of the bottle.
Tries to pull that cork out.
Even if they succeeded in pulling the cork out.
Nothing happens.
The genie can't come out of the bottle.
Because they can't come back.
Grant any more wishes for that person.
And if the wish turned out negatively for them.
Then they had consequences from that.
And it can take a very long time to find that person clicks their fingers and wishes for the right things,
Freeing the genie permanently.
And the genie explained that they don't know what happens beyond that yet.
They're just guided instinctively.
By the behaviors they have to do,
The role they have to play.
They wonder whether somehow this evil wizard that took away their powers perhaps had done so to other genies.
And maybe.
.
.
Was trying to prevent something in some way from happening.
And the woman and the genie.
Or today.
Camped.
On the edge of the most serene river.
At night.
Before continuing on walking the next day.
The device constantly pulsing.
Revealing the path they needed to follow.
Until eventually they came to a hill.
An unassuming hill in the middle of the countryside.
It wasn't a hill the woman was wholly unfamiliar with,
But to the woman this was just a regular hill.
Perhaps 30 miles from you.
The town that she lived in.
It wasn't particularly spectacular.
And if she knew she was going to this hill,
She could have got here a lot quicker.
Rather than walking all this way.
But it appeared.
That the path was leading straight into the side of this hill.
So the genie said there must be a tunnel somewhere just in the side of the hill here where that path is going.
Maybe something has collapsed.
Maybe it's all hidden here.
And so the woman started looking around the hill to see if there was any way into this hill.
She had never heard of any temple being here.
But she had never questioned why this hill was here.
And so the woman said that now we know where this is.
Why don't I go to the nearby town and I'll get a spade and we can try and access.
.
.
And dig into this hill.
And so she went away and came back with a spade.
And with that spade she began to dig into the location where she could see that this being had walked.
And a she-dog.
Into this hill.
She eventually reached a point where she hit some stone and realised it was stone of an entrance.
Like maybe there is something here and she cleared that away.
And as she cleared that away,
She saw that this was an entrance and that it looked like someone had covered over this temple,
Buried this temple in this location.
And in the center of this entrance.
Stones were just packed in.
And so she.
.
.
Pull those stones out one at a time.
And after she'd pulled a mound of stones out.
The entrance was clear.
And she could see that the faint blue path was heading into this passageway.
And so the two of them headed in to the passageway.
Woman holding a torch.
Slight echoing.
Coming from the footstep.
The passageway opened out.
A vast chamber.
The genie said this is definitely the secret temple.
And in the middle of the vast chamber.
Was an orb.
Of electric blue energy floating in the middle of the chamber.
And the genie said that that orb of energy is what was stolen from me.
The woman was curious where the wizard now was.
They'd gone to this effort of doing this perhaps hundreds and hundreds of years ago.
But would they really have just disappeared?
And the genie said,
Maybe.
Hundreds of years of me being buried and not returning.
They thought they'd rid the genies from the land.
Stopped us being able to grant wishes.
Maybe there are other genies this had happened to who are buried.
And that they've just never been uncovered.
And it just is fortuitous that.
.
.
At spring.
Had eroded the dirt enough to release the bottle.
And that that bottle happened to be released at a time that you could find it.
And the genie walked over to the glowing blue orb of energy.
They reach the hand out.
Touching the orb.
And the orb seemed to suddenly come to life.
And be absorbed into them.
The genie said they can feel their energy coming back.
You can feel that magic returning within them.
As the magic returned,
So the genie appeared to glow and pulse.
Illuminating the chamber just with their own glow.
And presence.
And they left this secret temple.
And the two of them re-covered up the entrance.
And the woman said,
What now?
And the genius said,
Well now.
.
.
You have three wishes And the woman said,
But I don't want to make a mistake and say the wrong thing.
The woman said,
Well.
.
.
I wish that you knew whether there were more genies.
And where those genies are.
And the genie said,
That's two wishes.
It needs to just be one wish.
And so the woman said,
I wish you knew.
Whether there were more genies.
And the genie.
Click their fingers.
Granting the wish and said,
I'm the only one.
And the woman said,
I wish you knew your purpose.
And the genie clicked their fingers and said.
.
.
My purpose.
Is to achieve ascension.
And the woman said.
I wish you knew what happens.
After granting three wishes.
And the genie clicked their fingers.
And turned into a being of light.
And as just a voice coming from this being of light.
The genie thanked the woman.
And said,
I now know.
What happens after granting three wishes.
The genie explains that We now know everything.
They pass through multiple planes of existence.
And one of those planes of existence.
Is on the physical realm.
And when they pass the physical realm.
They move on to the spiritual realm.
And that this is the highest realm to achieve.
And with every genie.
That reaches the spiritual realm.
Another genie passes into the physical realm.
With no memory or knowledge.
Of how they got there.
Just finding themselves in a bottle.
In a world of their own creation.
With innate knowledge and drives.
Waiting.
For the right person.
To help them while they learn how to help others.
So that they too can ascend.
From the physical realm.
The genie is a being of light.
Dissipated.
And the device the woman was holding.
Seems to just disintegrate in her hands.
And she could no longer see the blue trails.
She almost wondered whether the experience that had just happened was real or not.
It seemed so unreal.
She headed home,
Having had a couple of days of curious experiences.
That all started just with a morning walk like usual.
And once home she settled down in bed.
And drifted and floated so peacefully,
So comfortably and calmly,
Asleep in the slumberland.
And as you begin to comfortably drift to sleep.
You can have a scent.
Of that sound of walking.
Through snow.
That sound of walking through snow.
After.
A comfortable blanket of snow has fallen.
Where the world just seems so peaceful.
So calm and quiet.
Where the sounds seem so muted and relaxed.
Where the air is still.
And the only sound that you can hear.
Is the crunching of each footstep that you take.
Through that snow.
And you can have a sense of walking.
Comfortably through that snow.
Feeling the coolness.
Of the air on your face.
While the rest of your body remains wrapped up warm.
And that sense of peace.
As you continue walking.
Through that snow.
And while you walk.
Through the snow.
You find yourself.
Ambling along towards the edge of a woodland.
And as you walk into the woodland,
So you brush.
Against some of the branches of the trees.
And hear that soft sound of the snow.
Falling from the branches.
And finding its way down.
Like tiny gentle thuds.
Into the snow below.
And a little way into the woodland.
You can discover that the snow begins to clear.
As it hasn't found its way through.
The branch is overhead.
To quite the same extent.
And you find yourself walking.
On a harder surface.
Where your footsteps change from the sound of walking through snow.
To the sound of walking.
On solid mud.
And yet,
The other sounds around you are still muted.
As if everything is so still.
Stillness to the air,
Stillness to the trees,
No bird sounds.
No sounds of other animals.
And you stop.
Deep in the woodland.
You gently rest your back.
Against the bark of a tree.
Resting your back.
Against that trunk.
And you can feel that tree against your back.
Against the back of your head.
As you rest there.
And allow your eyes to close.
And you just listen to the silence.
Listening to the way that there's just that slightest of breeze passing past your ears.
Trying to listen out.
For the slightest sounds.
And while you listen.
You must have this sense of your mind drifting.
And floating through the woodlands.
As if somehow the silence is drawing your attention outward.
Expanding your awareness.
To fill the whole woodland.
And then after a little while.
Noticing yourself.
Feeling increasingly relaxed.
With the environment.
You take a really old man.
Out of your coat pocket.
You unfold that map.
Just enough to see where you are and where you're going you check the directions.
You orient the mat.
To where you think you need to be heading.
To where it lines up with the woodland that you're in.
And then you set off.
Continuing through the woodland.
Folding that map up again and putting it back in your pocket.
And after a while of walking deeper.
Deeper.
Into these woods.
You notice.
A small cave,
Just a tiny entrance.
And as you tuck your way into the entrance to that cave.
You once again notice the sounds change,
The air pressure change.
That slight echoing.
As the wind reverberates.
Around this cave.
And there's not really enough wind for you to physically feel it.
That you can hear it.
Just gently and slightly,
Subtly echoing in the cave.
Just a very slight high-pitched wind sound.
And it doesn't take long for your brain to begin to almost habituate to it,
Almost get so used to it being there.
That it forgets that it's even there and you pause for a moment in the cave.
Just listening.
Before starting to walk.
And each footstep.
Has a dull thud on the ground,
But a slight echo.
Around the cave.
And as you walk deeper.
And deeper into the cave.
So you begin to hear the sound of breathing.
Like really deep,
Really long breaths in.
And air.
Really deep,
Really long breaths in.
.
.
And out.
And you slow your walking down.
As you continue to walk deeper and deeper into the cave.
And that breathing sound.
Sounds closer and closer.
Until you eventually notice a green dragon.
Curled up many many times the size of you walking through this cave.
And you can see the way it's throat.
Glows with each out breath.
And the light in its throat dims.
Each in-breath.
As it breathes in deeply.
And then breathe out deeply feeling the warmth.
Of the air coming out.
Of that dragon's nose.
Out of its nostrils.
And out of its mail.
You carefully creep So gently around that dragon.
Round the back of that dragon.
And through a small hole in the back of this cave.
Into a long corridor.
And you had chosen this time.
To come here.
Because you know the dragon hibernates for the winter.
But you still have to be careful not to disturb it.
And so you creep around.
Down into that corridor.
Continue walking down that corridor.
And after quite a way walking deeper and deeper into the cave following that corridor.
Where you notice that the corridor is gradually sloping downwards.
And that the air pressure has changed a couple of times.
As you've walked deeper down that corridor.
You find yourself at a stone door.
And you get a little bottle of liquid.
Out of your coat pocket.
And you place some of that liquid on your hands.
You rub it into your hands.
Then you place your hand onto that stone door.
And you see.
Glowing.
Purple light.
Beginning to sparkle,
Almost like electricity.
Begins to tickle your fingertips.
Tickle the palm of your hand,
Like the softest touches.
Almost like a feather stroking and tickling the palm of your hand,
Your fingertips.
And then you hear a slight click.
And that stone door begins to slide open.
And move away from your hand,
And as it does so the light dims.
And you walk through.
That open door.
And as you walk through the open door.
So suddenly,
This bit of cave lights up.
And that door starts to close behind you flames around this cave burst to life illuminating this cave.
And in the centre.
Of the cave.
Is a pedestal with a book.
An old book.
And you walk over.
To that pedestal.
And you open that book.
And you start to read the first page of the book.
And it's not in your native tongue.
But you understand the language.
You read those words,
You understand their meaning.
You connect.
With their meaning.
And so you read those words,
You read through the first page,
The second page,
All the way to the start of a specific spell.
As you read that specific spell so you notice a spiraling purple light.
Appearing on the back wall of the cave.
Initially starting small and gradually increasing in size and then seeming to gain depth.
As if that spiraling light was somehow stretching backwards away from you.
Into the wall of the cave.
Except no wool being there.
Almost like some kind of a portal.
Or some kind of a.
.
.
Whirlpool.
And after finishing.
The spell.
You walk across the room.
And the closer you get to that spinning purple portal.
The more you notice that slight hum coming from the portal.
And you step through the portal.
And almost in an instant.
You find yourself standing.
On the edge of.
What looks like a large lava pit.
In the middle of a savannah.
And you can hear that lava bubbling and popping.
And feel the heat.
Emanating from it.
Then you hear a low rumble coming from deep underneath that lava pit.
And you take some steps away from that pit.
And as that rumble gets louder and louder so you back up further and further.
And you can see the top of the lava beginning to move.
Bubbling more,
Seeming to rise.
And you think maybe it's about to explode out.
So you back up even further,
Thinking it might explode out like a geyser.
Then all of a sudden.
.
.
You see this griffin burst from the lava.
With flames streaming off of it.
And you hear a strong beat of its wings.
As it launches itself from the lava up into the sky.
And then by the third beat of its wings,
The flames surrounding it.
Go ahead.
And it flies down and lands.
Between you and that lava pit.
And lowers its head.
And lowers its legs.
And lowers one wing.
As if to say to climb on its back.
And you walk over towards it.
And realize that it's not shying away from you,
It's not responding to you,
It's just remaining there waiting.
And so you trust the griffin you climb onto the back.
Of that griffin And as you do it,
Straightens its neck,
Lifts its head up.
Stands itself back up.
And launches itself up into the air.
And flies up into the clouds.
And starts flying over the land and you survey the land as it flies,
Feeling the wind on your face and your hair.
Holding securely to that griffin.
As it flies through the clouds,
Flies above the clouds.
Occasionally dives down through the clouds and swoops around the ground below.
And seems to be almost following landmarks to wherever it's going.
Seeming to follow a bit of river even weaving its flight,
Where it could take the most direct route.
Before suddenly heading in a direction towards a lake among trees.
And then seemingly using that as a landmark and spying another landmark.
And heading towards some tall trees that tower above the rest of those trees.
And then swooping down and up.
Over hills and low mountains.
And down the other side of those low mountains.
And swooping round.
Almost giving a feeling like you're on a roller coaster,
Feeling a sense of excitement.
And safety.
With that air in your head.
As it seems to work its way from one lake to another,
One landmark.
To another.
Until eventually you notice something catch the light in the distance.
A glistening,
Sparkling and realise that this griffin is taking you there.
And as you get closer you notice that it looks like some kind of.
.
.
Clear crystal structure.
Like tool.
Crystals that have interlocked to create almost a tent.
Of crystal.
Towering over the surroundings.
That the sunlight catches and glistens.
Sending what looks like rainbows in all directions.
As you approach.
And then the griffin lands with a bit of a slide.
Near that crystal structure.
Lowers its head,
Lowers down its legs.
Low as one of its wings.
As you climb off carefully.
Begin to walk away and walk towards that crystal structure.
And you walk over towards a path that seems to lead into the structure.
And you follow that path in.
As you walk in,
So you notice the floor seems almost like it's made of marble.
Some kind of well-polished highly echoey floor where the echoes seem to reverberate around the entire structure around the floor,
Around the crystal walls.
Where the light shines in.
And you can partially see out.
And in the middle of this structure.
Is an ornate chair.
And sitting.
In that chair.
As a young woman.
As you walk over.
Towards that young woman.
And as you do you notice the way she's examining you.
You feel that she's almost seeing into your soul.
That the way she's gazing at you Seems almost like.
.
.
The way you imagine.
Perhaps a sensor?
To be scanning someone,
And as she starts to talk.
And the softest,
Most gentle,
Kindest voice.
You feel that somehow she seems to know your true nature.
Seems to know your hopes and desires,
Your fears and anxieties.
And you just have that sense.
From the way she is communicating.
That you wouldn't be able to even put into words.
Why you think that.
It's just a feeling you have and yet at the same time.
You feel that this is okay,
That something about her makes you feel so trusting of her.
That you feel like it's okay for her to know your strengths and weaknesses,
Your hopes and fears.
That you instantly feel like.
.
.
You could tell her anything.
And if she's able to help,
She probably would.
And as she's talking,
You almost find yourself drifting into reveries with the way her voice is so soft and melodic.
And so gentle on the ear.
Like you just want to sit down and could listen for hours.
To whatever she's saying.
But in listening in that way.
You find that you're almost not hearing.
Because you're not attending to what she's saying.
And then you remember why you're here.
That you are following your map to find that cave.
That you came seeking answers.
That this map said that it would lead you to the greatest discovery you'll ever know.
And it was enough to convince you to go searching.
And you had to search at a time,
A dragon.
Would be hibernating.
And now you're here,
And you weren't expecting to see someone here.
You thought it would just be something in the cave behind the dragons.
And she tells you to come for a walk with her.
And she walks you through this.
Crystal glass palace.
She pushes on one part of the crystal.
And the door slides open.
And the two of you walk out into the most beautiful flower garden.
Out the back of this palace.
With the most incredible colours.
And wildlife.
And she goes over to one of the flower beds.
She crouches down.
And she rests her hand.
Palm up on the soil.
She slides her hand.
Underneath a dandelion.
With two fingers one side of the stalk,
Two fingers the other side of the stalk.
And that slightly drooping dandelion,
She carefully lifts it up in the palm of her hand.
Straightening it up.
So that the yellow flower of the dandelion is resting.
On her palm and fingers.
And she looks up at you and says,
What?
Do you see?
And you think about it for a moment.
And you wonder what the right answer is.
And you say that you see a weed.
And she asks you why you think this dandelion is a weed.
And you explain that.
It doesn't fit with the roses and the other flowers that are here.
It's obviously not supposed to be in this flower bed.
You are cleaning up the flower beds,
Removing the weeds,
You'd remove that dandelion.
And she tells you that you're wrong.
That the dandelion isn't a weed.
But that dandelion.
Is her favorite flower in this flower bed.
But that dandelion.
Is going to turn into something that's fine light.
Tickly.
Something that she will enjoy just giving the most gentle puff of air to.
And then she'll watch.
As that dandelion.
Ends up just being a stub on the end of a green stem.
While watching.
Little vehicles.
Carrying the seeds travelling through the air.
Bring further life.
To other places.
And that you can't blow on rose petals.
And get the same effect.
And that that dandelion is in exactly the right place for it.
That she looks forward to that day.
When she comes outside.
And sees that it's no longer yellow.
And hopes that she's lucky enough.
To capture that moment where she can come outside.
Before the natural breeze.
Has disrupted the top of the dandelion.
And that there's great pleasure to be taken in fleeting moments.
That if she comes outside too late,
She'll miss that opportunity.
So she has to keep checking.
Just keep mindful.
Of what's going on in her garden.
She then lowers that back down to the ground,
Slides her hand back out.
And says that the gift for you,
That knowledge that you seek,
Is an inner understanding.
That the magic that brought you here is the magic that will take you home.
And that it is connecting with this alternative world.
This world that the few dragons in your world come from.
To guard the entrances to this world.
That it's keeping this world alive.
Sharing stories of magic.
Of dragons of witches.
Sharing stories that are lost to time.
Stories that only children believe.
That's the magic to take from here.
The magic of keeping magic alive.
In your world.
And they know that you need a little longer to understand that.
They walk you to the back of this garden where there's the most beautiful tree.
And under that tree hanging from one of the branches.
Is a bench.
Like a swing.
And the two of you sit down on that bench.
As you sit down so you notice the bench bob up and down ever so slightly.
And you notice it swinging backwards and forwards just slightly with your movement.
And she reaches into a pocket and she pulls out a pocket watch.
And she pops the cover of the watch open.
She shows you the face of that watch.
Time on that wall.
She holds it up in front of your face.
And gently begins to swing that pocket watch.
Telling you just to look at the time.
Look at that time.
And just watch that time in the watch.
And you can see,
Can you not?
Way the hands are beginning to move backwards,
That here time can go in a different direction.
And yet.
.
.
You wouldn't notice unless you were looking at a clock,
That things are running in a different way here.
As your eyes follow that watch,
Just gently swinging left and right in front of your eyes.
And while she swings that watch.
.
.
And talks so peacefully and gently to you.
And just ever so subtly lowers that watch down,
Very slightly.
And your eyes lower down following that watch.
And you can hear her talking in the background but her voice begins to sound more distant and you know she's saying something about appreciating magic.
Appreciating the world in a new way.
You notice your eyelids feeling heavier and heavier in closing.
And something about the experience feels so comfortable.
And as your eyes close.
You still have this feeling like she's swinging that watch.
And like your eyes are following that swinging watch.
And the feeling that she's still talking to you somehow.
But at the same time you have that feeling that your eyes are starting to open and that what you see in front of you is a grass garden.
And the only thing in this grass garden.
Is a pedestal.
With what looks like some scales on it.
And you walk over.
To the scales.
And you see that on one side is a weight,
Weighing one side down.
And the other side is a feather.
And then you notice as you watch.
That that feather seems to be moving down as if the feather starts to weigh more.
Until the scales are level.
And when those scales become level.
You start to hear the sound of children playing in the background.
And you look up from the scale.
And you see some children playing hopscotch.
Some children singing and playing with skipping ropes.
Some children playing in a tent.
Full of blankets Some children cooling down to some other children from a treehouse.
Some children sitting around a pond with their trousers rolled up.
And their feet in the water.
And you walk away from the scales and you observe all these children.
And you see the games they're playing.
The way they're occupying themselves,
The things that they're spending time thinking about.
And then you look back at those scales.
And as you watch the scales and see the children in the background.
So you begin to notice those children.
Growing up.
And you notice them not interacting with each other in the same way.
And you notice that weight getting heavier and heavier.
That the feather seems to be getting lighter and lighter.
And then as the scenes keep changing and those children.
.
.
Seem to become young adults.
You notice that they start spending more time on their own,
Seemingly focused in their own world and they're near each other,
But they may as well be miles apart.
And that weight seems to be getting heavier and heavier.
And that feather lifts higher and higher.
And you notice the sky getting greyer and greyer,
That it's turning from the most beautiful blue sky to an overcast grey sky.
And then you see those children getting older and older and older.
And then you hear a clunk as that weight weighs so much that it's totally pushed down one side and the feather is so light it's totally up the other side.
And you walk to the scales.
And you grab hold of the weight on the scales.
And you feel that weight needs to be moved.
So you try to lift that weight with all of your might and the harder you try the heavier that white seems to get.
As you try harder and harder to lift and remove that weight.
And find it impossible.
And so instead you turn to the feather.
And you start to have a sense of that feather.
Getting lighter and lighter.
And find that as that feather seems to get lighter and lighter you carefully lift that feather slightly off the weight more and more so less of the feather is touching the weight So the scale on that side seems to start lowering down.
But if the feather totally leaves the weight.
.
.
The scale suddenly thuds down on the heavy side.
See you very carefully.
Lift that feather,
Making it lighter and lighter,
While keeping a part of it in contact with the scale.
Letting it lower while you live.
And a careful balance.
And as you do you notice the clouds clearing.
The blue sky returning.
The adults seemingly reverting back to being playful children again.
Until you carefully rest that feather.
In its lightest possible position on the scale.
And you don't really understand how you've done or are doing what it is you've done.
But somehow you've equalized things again.
And while it's like this,
You then lift that lighter heavy weight.
And you walk to the pond.
And you call over the duck.
And the top.
Swims to the shore.
Waddles over to you as you crouch down on one knee.
Then extends and flaps and stretches itself,
Flapping its wings.
And then it slows that flapping down.
And then nuzzles behind its back,
Nuzzles down its wings.
Seemingly grooming itself with its beak.
Then with its bill,
It grabs one of its own feathers,
Turns to face you.
And drops that feather into your hand.
And you will.
Back to the scale.
And you carefully place that feather where the weight once was.
Creating an equilibrium between both sides.
And as you do that,
You start to hear that voice talking in the background.
And your eyes blink open to see that watch swinging left and right.
And then seeing.
The watch being curled up into the woman's hands again.
The cover of the watch being sealed with a click.
She asks you to hold your hands out.
And so,
In a cup-like shape,
You hold your hands out.
She places that watch in one hand and places your other hand over the top of it.
And says this is for you.
Take it with you.
It'll connect you.
With this magical realm.
And it'll help you.
To continue to spread magic.
Through your wow.
And then she ushers you out.
And the two of you walk through the garden.
Walk back into that crystal palace.
She says goodbye.
You walk through the Crystal Palace,
Footsteps echoing,
Reverberating.
Walking out the front and seeing that griffin.
And the griffin is positioned again for you to climb on top.
As you climb on the griffin.
It takes off and seems to follow the reverse route all the way back.
To where you started.
Following its same landmarks across this land and you do your best to gaze around and take in as much of this land as you can as you go.
Getting an idea of what this land looks like.
Where the hills are,
The valleys are,
The mountains are,
The different trees.
Are all based,
The lakes,
The rivers.
Trying to see what wildlife you can notice.
And when that a griffin arrives back where it collected you.
You dismount from the griffin.
You see that portal,
You head back through the portal.
You find your way through the cave.
Around the sleeping dragon.
Back out among the trees.
And then out into the snow.
And you head home.
And wants home.
Drift asleep having the most wonderful night's sleep.
And the next morning you awaken.
With this compulsion.
And you head to a typewriter.
And your fingers seem to automatically begin to type.
And you find something satisfying about typing on an old-fashioned typewriter.
Your fingers begin to type out.
One word after another.
As if somehow what's going on in your mind.
Just comes straight out of your fingertips.
And in the background.
The cat meows.
And then settles down in front of a fire.
And relaxes down in front of that fire.
As a dog walks alongside you and settles down in a little dog bed right beside your feet.
As if they know.
That all of your attention is on what your fingertips are doing.
And you feel almost like an observer on the experience,
As if your eyes are just watching words appear on paper that your fingertips,
Independently of you,
Are typing.
And after a number of days and nights of regular typing and a handful of breaks.
Suddenly hundreds of pages have been typed.
And you send those pages off.
And many months later.
You wake up in the morning to the sound of a thud at the front door.
You go to the front door.
And you see lying on the ground.
An envelope.
You open that envelope.
And inside you find the first copy of the book that you wrote.
Over that period of time.
And you go and sit in a comfortable chair.
To look at what it was that you wrote.
And you decide to autograph the title page of this first book.
Of the first ever copy of this first book.
And you write one of one.
And that this is the first ever copy.
The pre-print copy.
And you decide that you'll leave that in a secondhand shop.
Someone else to discover one day.
And then you carry on reading.
Through that story to see what the story is about.
Because you had this sense of your hands automatically wrote the story.
And you just trusted.
Yourself.
And let that writing happen automatically.
And you start reading once upon a time in a land far away.
There lived a young porcupine.
And this young porcupine.
Was an excitable.
Porcupine.
They always wanted to be invited to parties.
But whenever they would attend parties.
They'd get all excited.
They'd run around.
That try and play.
With the other animals.
They try and play with the cats,
The foxes,
The dogs,
The badgers,
The squirrels.
But eventually the other animals would say they don't want to play with you.
Because as soon as they get to the party balloons.
They would inadvertently burst the balloons.
And the bursting balloons would make the other animals jump.
Get scared.
And get annoyed that their balloons have been burst.
But one day.
.
.
When this porcupine was out.
They encountered a strange creature.
They're walking along a beach.
When this creature seemed to flop its way along.
And looked like it was struggling so much to move.
And as they approach the creature they noticed that the creature had a tail.
What looked like its house on its back.
And weird wings.
Where its legs should be.
And they asked the creature if they needed any help.
And the creature said they were just trying to get to the sea.
And so the porcupine.
Helped to dig a channel to the sea,
To help to bring some of that water from the sea closer to this strange creature.
This creature said that it was a turtle.
And that it was actually not very easy to walk on land.
But it's a very good swimmer.
And it can hold its breath for so long.
And the porcupine helped that turtle all the way to the sea.
And in return the turtle.
Came back to the shore.
With some seaweed.
Gave the porcupine that seaweed.
Said to the porcupine just roll in that seaweed a little bit.
And the porcupine rolled in the seaweed and the seaweed caught on its spine.
The porcupine couldn't reach to get that seaweed off right now.
And the seaweed.
Just seem to stick.
In those spines.
And the porcupine.
Realize that with the seaweed on its spines,
If it covered its spines,
It didn't burst any balloons.
It couldn't burst any balloons.
But it just had to think of a way of.
.
.
Being able to solve problems like this rather than seeing itself as somehow bad or a failure.
That that strange creature hadn't seen itself as bad or a failure.
It was good at swimming.
Its legs just weren't very good at walking.
And the porcupine started interacting with the other animals.
And ask them for help.
And one of the animals a sheep.
Said that they felt that they could help.
And they went over to a tree.
They started rubbing themselves against the tree.
They kept rubbing and rubbing and rubbing and then turning around and rubbing themselves some more.
And then a duck came over to the tree and gathered up all that wool.
And then a team of ducks.
Started sticking that wool all around the outside of the porcupine until the porcupine looked like a strange sheep.
The animals laughed at what the porcupine looked like,
In a friendly way,
At the porcupine's new jacket.
But the porcupine liked this new,
Strange woolen jacket.
That was helped to be made by these animals.
That allowed it to begin to fit in and join in things that previously it couldn't join in.
And as you continue reading through this book You find out that this story carries on,
With this band of friends going on adventures.
This band of friends having a picnic.
Continuing on to.
.
.
Were the porcupine.
Is amused by the earrings that the sheep gets one day.
These jangling earrings.
And as that story continued.
Let's talk about that friendly sheep.
Making friends with the local dragons.
And the animals having to help that dragon.
To be able to interact.
In a friendly way,
Without accidentally burning anyone.
And you notice in this book.
Is talk of.
Witches and wizards.
Fairies and trolls.
And you realise the story.
Designed for children.
Is the first in a series.
Just pouring out of your mind onto the page.
Sharing that magic.
Keeping the magic world alive.
And you notice that in every single book from that day on that you write there always seems to be a magical portal or a doorway.
Whether it's a strange stone arch found in the middle of a field.
Or a small hole in the base of a tree,
Or a cave.
In a craggy row.
You notice.
That you seem to now share.
Magic.
To keep magic alive among children.
Who will hopefully grow up to keep magic alive among their children.
And in doing so,
They'll keep magic alive in themselves.
As you come to this realisation of the true meaning of that journey.
To that cave.
The discovery you made on that day.
A warmness.
Fills your heart and begins to spread through your body.
As you head off to bed.
With that warmness,
With these worlds you're creating,
Playing around in your mind as if these characters are real.
And living in this land you dream of.
Where you can meet them when you sleep and dream.
Where you follow the adventures of Philip the Porcupine.
Where he stops being known as the prickly person.
Being known as the soft one.
As you drift and float So comfortably,
So peacefully,
So relaxed,
Asleep.
And you find yourself.
Walking through pine forest.
On a misty morning.
And in this pine forest,
As the sun is beginning to rise somewhere outside the trees.
You can notice that mist just above the ground.
Gradually evaporating up.
And you can be curious about how that mist seems a bit more dense.
Than you would usually notice.
And you can notice it moving out the way of your feet with each step that you take and hear the cracking of twigs beneath your feet.
And hear that morning chorus of birds in the trees.
And as that sun continues to rise outside the forest so the low light.
Can occasionally manage to get into the forest.
Sending long stretched out shards of light.
Dancing with the movement of the trees.
And as you continue walking deeper into the forest.
You can notice the smell of the pine,
Other forest smells.
Walking on that uneven ground occasionally touching the bark of the trees.
Really having that sense of.
.
.
The fact these trees are old and have been around for far longer than you have.
That curiosity.
Of what those trees may have seen.
What events have played out.
This area.
Over the centuries that those trees have been there.
And by being tactile.
By touching those trees.
You almost feel a sense of connecting with nature.
Almost like you can feel.
That nature.
On an emotional level.
Feeling what it's like to be a tree.
To be standing just as an observer.
Moving slowly through time.
Really feeling a connection.
With that forest,
With nature as you hear other animals.
Perhaps occasionally.
Noticing deer or a stag through the trees.
And having to really pay attention for the slightest sign of movement to confirm that that's what you're seeing.
As they blend in so well.
And as you continue deeper.
Into the forest.
So you're looking for a bit of a clearing.
You're looking for a clearing that exists because of a tree.
You've always been fascinated on some level.
By the way trees grow.
The way other plants grow,
The way everything.
Is interconnected.
Aware of how trees cast shadows.
And so only certain things can live under trees.
And as you continue exploring so you discover.
A clearing and in the middle of that clearing You see a giant redwood tree.
Stretching high above the surrounding trees.
And you gaze up to the top and perhaps feel just slightly dizzy and decide to look back down again.
And keep your eyes forward or just scan up a little way.
Aware that it's almost like a living skyscraper.
And their innocence.
It is.
Because there's life here.
At your level.
And then there's different life all the way up that tree.
And different animals,
Different plants will find their niche.
And you walk over to the tree.
And you touch that tree.
You allow your fingertips to just be as gentle as you can Really get the texture.
FATBAR Getting yourself close to that tree to really smell.
The bar.
And smelling thee.
Soil on the ground.
Aware that that damp soil has a certain type of scent to it.
And aware that you ordinarily don't notice these things.
Because your attention is elsewhere,
Thinking about different thoughts Thinking about what you have to do,
Where you have to be.
Things you feel you've got to remember,
Things that you think are important.
Rather than paying attention in the moment.
To the world around you in a non-judgmental kind of way,
Just being aware of what your senses are taking in.
Because your senses.
Take an awful lot in.
That they don't bother sharing with you.
Unless you choose to pay attention in the same way that everyone's had that experience.
Of looking at an optical illusion of perhaps thinking I don't get it and as soon as you do get it.
You can't unsee it.
Because now you're paying attention.
And you put a rug down on the ground,
Next to that tree.
You sit down on that rug.
Resting your back against the bark of the tree just listening to the sounds watching as the rays of light become more vertical.
As the sun rises in the sky.
Hearing these.
Movement of the branches in the breeze.
Sounds of birds and other animals.
As you just rest against that tree And she gazed over at a fallen-down log.
And that log is beginning to rot and you get curious about.
The worms you see just underneath that log.
Popping out of the soil.
Churning that soil up.
Aware of the good they do for the soil.
For other lie.
And the word lies.
In the log.
Seeing them occasionally come out of the logs.
Scurry along the bark.
Find a little hole and head back inside again.
And you know that they've got their own little lives that they get on with.
That they were.
And they just do A,
B,
C.
Oblivious to you there.
Or to anyone else or anything else.
Just getting on with their tasks.
And you rest back and let your eyes close you take a few deep breaths.
Almost like you're breathing in comfort.
And breathing out any tension.
Making each out-breath slightly longer than the in-breaths to really enhance that relaxation.
As you drift and float asleep.
Resting against that tree and while you're drifting,
Floating asleep.
Resting against that tree so you Allow your ears to broaden out your hearing.
To pinpoint in space the different sounds you hear.
A little bit like the pings on sonar.
Or radar.
Identifying where different things are that are making sounds.
Around you,
Really honing your senses.
And as you continue to drift and float comfortably asleep.
So you start to begin to imagine being a small child.
Kneeling down.
In a playground.
And there's another child opposite you both kneeling down and you realise you're watching.
With excitement.
As two snails with numbers written on their backs in Tippex.
Erasing from a chalk line.
To another chalk line.
And a part of you is enjoying the excitement of the child you are here.
What another part of you?
Is curious about how a child can find it exciting.
To watch something so slow.
And even more curious by the fact that the snails aren't even trying to get to the finish line.
The snails themselves are just going about their life.
Just moving along from where they were placed.
They've got no concept.
That they are heading towards a line.
When they're facing the line,
That's just incidental.
And you know that with your adult head on.
And yet that child you.
As excitingly.
Cheering on that snail.
As if somehow that would make a difference.
But as you watch that snail.
So you do get curious.
Yet curious about the way it's moving.
The way its eyes move.
To scan the environment.
The waves or pulses down its body.
And curious about whether that snail knows it's moving really,
Really slow.
Whether that snail realises.
And perhaps thinks,
It wishes it could move faster.
Curious about what level of consciousness That snail may well have.
You're aware that it's got consciousness but unaware whether it's got insight and as you watch that snail pass the halfway point So you begin to hear the sound of water.
In the background.
That long.
Sound.
Of water rolling on ashore.
Of a calm beach.
And as you look up from the snail.
So you begin to realise.
You're resting down on.
The most beautiful golden sand.
Than in front of you.
That sand turns dark nearer to the water.
And clear water is lapping on the shore.
And then pulling out some distance.
And then gently rolling back in again and as you continue scanning up.
You notice that.
The colour of that water towards the horizon.
Blends in with the colour of the horizon.
And you can look at the sky.
Discover whether there's any clouds in the sky.
And what time of day this is.
As that blue sky and blue water.
Almost merge into one and you gaze around the horizon.
And you can't see any boats in view at the moment.
And you stand up and walk along the sand.
You walk down to the darker sands.
Noticing the way the sand changes sound under each footstep.
From a dull thought.
To a kind of scratchy sound.
As your foot sinks a little way into that.
Wet sand.
And as that water rolls in.
Over your feet.
You notice that you're barefoot.
And that water.
Kind of tickles your feet with the bubbles.
And the movement of the sands as it moves that sand,
The bubbly water.
Over your feet.
As the wave comes in and tickles even more as that wave pulls back.
Drawing more sand over your feet you walk along the shoreline.
Heading down to where you notice.
There's some trees and grass.
Quite close to the water.
And you move down.
Near to that area.
Prop yourself against a tree.
Gaze out to sea.
And you have this feeling like it would be really nice to go in the water to go for a swim.
You think to yourself how long it's been since you've dived down underwater.
And you walk into that water.
And as the water reaches your knees.
You can see through that clear water.
Down to the sand.
On the bottom.
You can notice.
Small fish swimming around your legs.
Occasionally brushing next to your legs.
And your feet.
And as you walk a little farther.
You notice the warmth of the water moving up your legs.
Chill ways.
And as the water reaches your waist.
You allow yourself to comfortably fall forward into the water.
And you dive under the water.
And just swim slightly above the bottom of the water.
And you feel comfortable.
Under the water.
The way the sound changes.
The way time seems to slow down and as you float.
Looking around underwater.
So calmly,
So comfortably.
So you watch.
As a stingray.
Glide's Path.
With its wavy motions.
Just gliding through the ocean.
And you just watch and look around noticing some areas of seaweed waving gently.
Underwater.
And then you come up to the surface You swim a little way further along the.
.
.
Side of the shore.
You find an area where.
.
.
The waves come in a little larger.
And you see a surfboard.
On the shore,
Stuck outright.
The sand.
As you go to that surfboard.
You can't see anyone around.
So you think to yourself,
No one will mind me just having a go.
You pick up that surfboard you get the balance just right and you carry it.
Out into the water.
Before holding it in front of you.
And jumping down onto it.
.
.
Resting your belly on it.
Paddling your way out.
And the waves are larger,
But not too large and they're reasonably predictable.
And their timing of coming in.
And you push through some of the waves.
And you go out a little way.
And then you turn the board.
See a wave coming behind you.
And you paddle along.
And as that wave reaches you you jump yourself up.
Into a standing position.
But then find you lose balance.
You're too rigid in your stance as that wave reached you.
And you fall in.
And you think to yourself,
You'll try again but this time.
Be a bit more flexible.
With your body,
With your legs.
Feel through your feet.
Be one with that water.
Rather than thinking about having to stand in the perfect position.
Focusing on you.
You decide to focus.
And just being a part of a system.
And being one with the ocean.
And you see a wave coming,
You turn,
You paddle as it reaches you.
You jump yourself up and this time you're focusing on the wave,
On the movement of the wave,
On feeling the movement of the board.
Beneath your feet.
I'm just observing what's happening.
And responding to what's happening.
Rather than deciding somehow that you know better.
Almost like you're not thinking at all,
You're just experiencing.
And you pick up speed as that wave moves towards the shore.
And you travel along that wave.
And as that wave begins to break behind you,
That breaking water is following you.
Just before it reaches you,
You turn off and head down and follow it all the way in.
Being followed by some white water.
As you glide into the shore.
And you give this a go a couple more times.
Deciding that it feels exhilarating.
To be able to have this kind of experience.
This opportunity.
And after doing that you decide you just need to take a moment to rest You put the surfboard back where you found it.
You go back to that tree.
Sit down under that tree,
Just gazing out.
Over the ocean.
Just letting your mind wander with the rhythmic sound of the ocean,
Of those waves rolling in.
And out.
And as you do that,
So your mind begins to wander It's almost like your mind latches on to that idea of the moving in and out.
That you start to feel this sense of rocking gently side to side and then you start to hear in your mind's eye the clip-clop of horses hooves on a cobbled street and the sound of.
.
.
Solid wheels rolling on those cobbles.
And discovering yourself sitting in a carriage.
Of a horse and cart.
You pull back the small curtain beside you.
And you feel how velvety and smooth that curtain is and as you look out the window.
So you realise that,
You're in a horse and car.
Trotting down the Victorian street into a city You can see people in their Victorian dress.
Men with top hats.
Women with wide skirts.
Women holding.
Umbrellas to protect them from the sun men walking with canes.
Even though they don't look like they need them.
And off for a little while.
The horse and cart stop.
Someone opens the door on the pavement side.
And you climb out.
And take a look around.
And the first thing you notice is that the sun is a lot warmer than you'd expected.
And you can hear the hustle and bustle from down the street.
Noticing shops.
Down there on either side.
Noticing lots of shops selling food,
Selling clothes.
Selling hardware.
And a marketplace.
With many market stalls,
Selling fruit and veg,
Many different things.
And you wander down to explore.
And as you explore.
You're surprised at how busy this area is.
And decide that you want to get somewhere a little quieter.
A little less overstimulating.
So you head down a side alley.
And you see a door at the end of the alley.
You walk down.
Towards that door.
And it's an old wooden door.
In a brick wall.
And you knock on the door.
And the shutter slides open.
Someone looks at who you are.
Closes that shutter.
You hear that door being unbolted.
They then open the door and let you in.
And you realise it's a vast shop selling rugs and you walk around looking at the rugs,
You run your fingers on the different rugs feeling the different materials.
Some so soft your hand just sinks into them and you just want to stay touching them.
And the person comes over to you with a rug rolled up under their arm.
And they offer it to you.
And you try to say that you don't really want it.
You're just trying to get off the main street.
And they say it's yours.
And you don't want to appear rude,
So you accept that rug.
And they gesture down the shot.
As he walked in the direction they gestured heading down that shop.
And they gesture to a door at the back of the shop.
You walk through that door.
And find yourself in an empty room.
And they make a gesture as if to say,
Unroll the rug.
And you don't do anything so they make the gesture again So you unroll the rug.
And then they cross their arms.
And pretend to sit down.
They partially bend their body.
And you get the idea.
And so you go to that rug and you sit down on the rug and you cross your legs.
You cross your arms.
As they were demonstrating.
And as you do.
You notice almost like a blue light.
Emanating from.
Your stomach area outwards.
Almost like a light bubble.
And it emanates outwards.
To fill thee.
Area of the rug in yourself.
And then that blue light suddenly collapses back in towards you.
And with a white flash.
You suddenly feel floaty and light.
And sitting on the rug you can't feel the solid floor beneath you anymore.
And then as.
.
.
That flash disappears and your eyes adjust.
You notice that the carpet's flying.
And the beneath you.
Is golden desert.
Sand dunes.
At night.
You can see the most beautiful carpet of stars overhead.
Twinkling brightly in the sky.
And the carpet begins to move.
And you can see in the distance some lights.
That look like perhaps there's a town over there and the carpet seems to be moving towards that town.
And as that carpet moves.
So you just look around You see the ground moving past beneath you.
You admire the beauty of those stars overhead.
And you wonder where and when this is.
And as you arrive on the outskirts of that town.
So the rug lands on the sand.
You roll the rug up.
Put it under your arm.
And walk through an archway.
Into this town.
And it's night time,
So it's quiet.
There are few people around.
You can see a dog.
Just walking gently along the edge of some buildings and then crossing the street.
And cutting down an alleyway.
You can see a cat sleeping.
On some material on a wicker basket.
And you see one place that looks open.
.
.
And so you head to that location.
You go in,
You ask for a room for the night.
They direct you upstairs,
You go upstairs.
You put the rug down on the floor beside a bed.
You rest down in the bed and drift and float comfortably.
And relax to sleep.
And the next morning you decide to explore and you set off with your rug.
You walk from the town.
Noticing that.
There are some hills in the distance.
And as you arrive at the hills you notice that there are ancient buildings that were built into these hills.
And you decide to explore.
Some of those.
Homes or caverns or whatever it was that was built into these hills.
And as you near.
That area.
The rug seems to be stopping you.
And then you notice that beside you is a slightly orangey kind of sand.
And the rug suddenly feels heavy falling to the floor,
Too heavy for you to lift,
Right next to that sand.
And you realize that rug is trying to communicate to you,
To tell you to get some of that sand.
So you scoop up some of that sound.
You put it into a jar.
That you had some food in.
And suddenly the rug leaps itself up under your arm again and you walk into a cavern.
In those hills.
And the cavern is.
.
.
Lit by flame torches.
At even spaces.
And it doesn't look like anyone's been here for a very long time.
But at the same time.
Someone must have lit these torches.
And must keep them alight.
And you can hear the occasional echoey drop of water.
So you know there must be some water down here somewhere.
You can hear the sound of wind as it blows in the entrance.
Swirls around in the cavern.
And so you continue to explore.
And as you walk deeper and deeper.
So the cavern begins to descend and you descend some steps And step 10,
9,
8,
7,
6,
5.
Fall.
3.
.
.
2.
.
.
One,
Descending all those steps.
To a lower level of this cavern.
And after a while the cavern opens out into a chamber.
And in this chamber you notice a lake and the flamed torches.
Go halfway around the lake.
And you notice the way the.
.
.
Light from the flames dances on the walls.
The way it dances on such still water that has just the tiniest ripples from the slight breeze that blows through the cavern.
And near the water you see a sign.
And the sign says that.
.
.
There's a medallion in this water.
That you have to collect.
But that medallion has to be kept dry.
And that somehow you have to get it from the bottom.
And out dry.
And you're unsure how you're going to do this.
But you have this feeling like that's what you're meant to do.
Like somehow you've been brought here.
To get this medallion.
And just then you hear.
.
.
A breathing sound.
Coming from another direction.
And footsteps.
And you see this large creature coming through.
That looks very much like an ogre.
And as it arrives so it begins to talk to you and you're taken aback a little bit by how friendly its voice sounds.
And how it greets you almost as if it's known you for years.
And that ogre.
Offers to help you to solve this puzzle.
It explains that that sand that you've gathered isn't just ordinary sand.
It's magic sand.
It has a certain property.
That doesn't allow it to get wet.
And that although that medallion is at the bottom of that water if you can get the medallion into the centre of the sand.
In that jar.
The outside of the sand will stay dry,
And whatever is in the centre will stay dry.
That the water will essentially just be resting on a cushion of air.
Around that sand.
And so you give that a go,
You.
Attempt to.
Scoop up that medallion.
And you find out you have to climb in the water to do so.
That you need to be able to get down in the water.
Get your hands into the water.
Dig that jar a little way.
Into the water.
Then push that medallion into the sand.
And rest your hand over the top so as not to let that magic sand fall out.
And make sure it's all around that medallion.
So that you can rise it out without it getting wet.
And once you've got that medallion,
So you.
Are curious what it's for.
Why you felt drawn to it.
And the ogre tells you to put the medallion on.
And once you put that medallion around your neck as soon as it rests against you.
So your eyes close.
You become very still.
You get this light,
Floating feeling.
As you drift up out of your body.
Almost like rising up as a consciousness.
While remaining there.
As a physical person.
And you rise up out of your body.
And feel those arms getting lighter and lighter.
Lifting up from the side of your body.
Almost with a bit of a tingling.
And you float up out of your body.
You rise up through the cavern.
You pass through all that stone.
And you rise up into the sky outside the cavern.
And as you gaze around you.
So you notice there's almost like a golden thread.
A glowing golden thread connecting you with where your body is.
And as this consciousness.
You float and explore.
And you realise there's more to be experienced here.
Than just floating out of your body.
You realise just from the power of thought.
That you can roll time forward or backwards.
You can roll time forward or backward slowly.
Or fast.
You can see the past.
You can see the present.
And you can see the future.
And you watch as you roll time back watching everything go in reverse sunset to sunrise over and over again.
As you watch as those dunes move.
Like waves across the desert.
And you roll time forward.
Watching sun rise to sun set watching those dunes move through the desert like waves.
Watching as people build the town.
Larger and larger.
And then create roads to the town.
And their roads through the town.
And then the town gets.
.
.
Overtaken by larger buildings.
And you watch as progress happens.
And you find it a very curious experience.
Realising that this medallion gives you this ability.
To see the past,
Present,
Future to experience being,
Just consciousness.
Able to travel to any time or place.
And you're curious why you've.
Been led to this medallion.
And as time is continuing to progress forward.
You notice a flash up in the sky getting brighter and brighter.
And realise there's been a supernova.
And you know that you can travel in space and time.
So you decide to see if you can travel that far.
And just with that thought.
You find yourself.
Much closer to that supernova.
Seeing the beauty of it.
But then you notice.
That there's a planet.
That had been destroyed and something feels like.
There's relevance.
To you having this ability and you noticing that supernova and you now seeing the remains of that planet.
And you turn back time.
To before that star went supernova.
And you realise that planet.
Contained life.
And you travel to that planet.
And you've always been told not to interfere.
You've always been told that's the rule.
These things,
Don't interfere.
With primitive life.
You've seen enough science fiction to know.
You shouldn't interfere.
And yet something compels you to turn back time.
And to just help that life.
To know what's going to happen in the future.
Help that life progress that little bit faster.
That it'll have time to make its own decisions.
To change its own path,
Its own destiny.
And as time runs forward again.
This time you notice.
A young civilization beginning to grow up on the planet.
You notice as they become aware of the fate of the star.
You notice as they spend a few generations preparing for that fight.
And before that fate happens.
They leave the planet.
And you watch.
As they head off as explorers.
With a whole new destiny.
And you only made once move.
Change.
But that one small difference made a large difference.
That saved all those people.
And saved many of the species.
From that planet.
And you travel back following that thread to the you resting there by that lake in the cavern.
And you leave the cavern.
And start heading back.
The way you came.
And you get onto that carpet.
And with a flash.
You find yourself back in that room.
And you roll up the carpet.
You find your way out of the shop.
You turn off to avoid all the people.
And head off to a park.
And you unroll the rug.
Under a tree in the park.
And you sit down in that part.
You get out a jar of jam.
You get out some bread.
You make yourself some jam sandwiches.
And you sit and rest there.
Eating those jam sandwiches.
Watching people walking dogs curious.
About how the dogs that you can see here this Victorian time period are so different to when you see people walking dogs,
In your usual present.
And you just watch those people.
You watch children play.
With hoops,
With sticks,
Throwing things to each other,
Chasing each other around.
And you notice when you hear a noise in the undergrowth.
In the hedges alongside.
Where you're sitting There's little hedgehogs scurrying around,
Nose twitching away.
And you watch as it searches round under the hedge and when it sees that you've seen it.
It becomes very still and quickly rolls itself up into a ball.
But you can see that it's kind of peeking at you still,
Just keeping an eye on you.
And when it realizes that you're not moving anywhere.
You're not reacting to it in any way.
It unrolls itself and carries on.
Scurrying around.
Finding Food before heading out of sight,
Deeper into the hedge.
And you can see a little Robin.
Start hopping its way along the ground.
Before darting off into a tree.
Here the distant horse and cart going along the road the other side of the park.
Than as you finish your jam sandwich.
You decide to just have a little wander through the park,
Smell the flowers,
Watch the bees going in and out of different flowers.
Much butterflies.
Birds.
And just enjoy this experience And as you do that,
So you realise there seems to be circles on the ground.
Some small circles,
Some larger.
And then you notice.
That are in some of those circles.
They're mushrooms.
And you take a closer look.
And as you do.
You think you catch sight of a butterfly.
But when you get narrower.
.
.
You see that it's a small fairy.
And it notices you.
And it turns to you and realises.
That you've got a magic carpet.
And that to be given a magic carpet.
You have to be deeply trusted Because people don't just give magic carpets to anyone.
And so that fairy begins to talk to you.
It tells you that you've got to go and search.
Of a giant tortoise.
And that you'll know when you find that giant tortoise.
And you've got to help that giant tortoise.
And only once you've done that will you begin to?
Journey out of this space and time.
And so you go and sit down on the rug.
You sit down on that carpet.
You close your eyes and you focus.
On the idea of that.
Giant tortoise.
And as you do.
You get that same flash of light.
And you find yourself.
In a different part of British countryside.
With undulating hills.
And small villages.
And narrow country paths.
Almost like just dirt tracks connecting the villages.
And you walk through one of the villages.
Assuming somewhere around here is that giant tortoise.
And everyone you ask says they don't know what you're talking about.
And so you ask if there's any strange happenings around here.
And many people say that.
Up on the hills in the distance.
There used to be a farm.
And then one day.
.
.
Something changed.
And they described it as earthquakes happening.
They said it was as if the ground was unsettled.
And the farm became unusable.
And so you decided that that's where you would start exploring.
And you followed the path all the way.
Up to that hill.
In the distance and you enter the farm.
And you found an abandoned greenhouse.
Rows of overgrown plants.
Many of the glass panes damaged.
Signs that nature has been reclaiming.
This greenhouse.
And then you felt the ground move.
And rumble.
Only unlike or previous times the crowns moved and rumbled.
This time,
There was an explosion of mud.
On one side of the hill.
And then you saw her as this head.
Of a giant tortoise.
Turns to face you.
And then that hill rose up.
And Maud fell away.
And the trees on the hill toppled.
And you realise that this entire hill is actually a giant tortoise.
And you jumped onto your flying carpet.
You flew off the back of that giant tortoise.
Off in front of it.
Landed on the ground.
And began to talk.
To that tortoise.
And the tortoise explained that.
They had been cast.
That they'd been turned.
Into this giant.
And trapped as a hill.
And that they have been trying to move to free themselves.
To find an answer.
They've been trying in vain.
For many years.
And that it's only now they've been able to break out enough to free their head.
To be able to stand.
And that's something about.
Having magic near.
This magic.
Must have amplified.
Their ability.
To overcome being trapped.
But they still haven't been able to get back to their normal size.
And they ask you for help.
And you don't know how you can help.
And they tell you it's all in that medallion.
It's all about the medallion.
And you get onto the flying carpet,
You hold the medallion.
You focus on turning back time.
To a time before.
That tortoise was here.
And you watch as time around you flashes back rapidly until that farm looks normal,
Is operational.
And you know that that tortoise isn't there yet.
And you know that the flying carpet can tell you where to go.
Than by thinking about where to go.
It'll get you there.
And so,
As you think about where to go.
.
.
You find yourself travelling to a location of a giant white palace.
And you enter that white palace.
And you find a room.
That seems to have an aquarium.
That looks a bit like a mirror maze mixed in with the aquarium and mirrored walls.
And you're aware that at the far side of this room that you have to somehow navigate is another door and you just have this sense that it's through that door that you need to go.
And so you carefully start walking.
In this room,
Noticing your reflection in front of you to the sides of you.
Very carefully walking.
In that room.
Seeing fish in the aquarium.
Just swimming around.
Oblivious to their location noticing this room.
Has a really strange effect with all these mirrors.
Making everything in every direction look like it goes on for an infinity.
Making it hard to judge exactly how large this room is.
As you carefully navigate using your intuition around the mirror maze.
Eventually finding your way.
To a door at the far side of the room.
And at the far side of the room.
You pass through that door.
And you see that tortoise.
Only it's a normal size here.
And that tortoise doesn't know why you're here.
And you see someone else in the room.
And they've got a book open in front of them.
And then midway through casting some kind of a spell.
And you hold the medallion.
The time seems to freeze.
And you can see what looks like.
Some kind of a light beam or energy beam.
Heading from that person down towards the tortoise.
That's frozen in space and time.
And you walk around that and you pick up the tortoise.
You move it out of the way.
You take that book.
And close that book.
And then you travel through space and time.
To such a distant time,
That that book will never be discovered.
And then you go back to that room.
And you follow the life of that person back.
Trying to find a crossroads.
A point where a simple,
Different decision could lead them on a better path.
Perhaps just a friendly acknowledgement.
And you find that moment And like with the planet,
You make the tiniest of changes.
Allow things to play out and see how they change.
And you know that.
That tortoise will never know what you did.
That there are multiple timelines that you now seem to be aware of.
That you know what you did.
But where you came from.
Isn't where you'll go back to.
Because that tortoise won't be in that hill anymore.
And you take all these learnings from this whole experience and realise that somewhere deep inside you,
You've been on a journey,
Learning,
Discovering.
About yourself and the world around you.
As you feel yourself resting against that redwood and open your eyes and you walk away from that redwood.
With your mind filled with learning.
You walk through that forest.
You notice how now the sun is beginning to set how the shards of light passing through that forest.
Are in the opposite direction.
How the sounds in the forest have changed.
There's no longer a dawn chorus.
That's the evening.
Sounds.
Some animals settling down,
And birds settling down.
And other animals and birds just waking up.
And you will.
Through that forest.
Finding your way to.
A cabin that you live in.
You relax down in that cabin.
You set by a fire.
You enjoy the sounds of that crackling fire.
Enjoying the warmth in the cabin.
Before heading.
To bed.
And when you head to bed.
You find yourself drifting and floating and dreaming asleep about the journey you went on in your mind.
The learning from that journey.
Curious about.
What it teaches you.
About yourself.
About nature,
The world around you.
Just continuing to drift deeper.
And relax asleep.
Having your mind drifting asleep,
Your body.
.
.
Drifting Asleep knowing that you will wake up feeling rested and refreshed.
And alert in the morning.
As you just continue to drift.
And float asleep.
