Welcome.
For today's meditation,
You may participate either lying on the ground or sitting with a nice straight spine.
You may be in a chair,
Both feet flat on the ground,
Or sitting in a comfortable cross-legged pose.
Wherever you find yourself today,
Place your palms down.
They may be on your knees,
On the ground beside you.
Today we will be grounding and reconnecting.
We use our physical posture to support our goals.
Begin to deepen your breath.
Send it further into the belly than you normally do and just start to pay attention.
Just notice as it starts to melt away the tension in your low belly.
As you observe your breath traveling through your torso,
The rest of your body relaxes.
Cells calm,
Interstitial space increases.
Everything melts toward the earth.
The jaw relaxes.
There is space between the teeth.
The space behind the eyes relaxes.
There's nowhere to go.
There's nothing to do.
Welcome home to yourself.
Let the breath expand everything.
Start to notice all the contact points of your physical body and the earth beneath you.
Imagine all this contact point grounding,
Neutralizing any unwelcome energy.
As this buzzing,
As this dancing neutralizes,
What is left is you.
You are the feeler that stress anxiety however small,
However large it is,
You are the feeler,
Not the feeling.
Breathe.
Imagine the entire curve of the earth supporting you.
You are so held for these moments.
You are not in charge of supporting anyone else right now.
You are supported by the infinite intelligence governs the plants,
The rocks,
The sky.
It also coordinates your life for your own evolution.
Lay back,
Sit in,
Sink,
Trust.
Imagine yourself,
Your feet,
Sinking into rich black earth.
It's cool but not muddy.
Walking barefoot through rich black earth and then soft deep green verdant grass under your feet.
There's moisture in the air,
Trees on either side,
Birdsong moves your feet.
Air is fresh,
Rich with life and nutrients.
There's green undergrowth everywhere.
It's soft cushioning.
Your breath deepens.
You feel all your energy return.
In this moment you are safe.
You are supported.
You are held.
Imagine you're still in towering deciduous trees.
You're supporting life and each other,
Reaching high,
Growing steady.
You can smell them.
You stand still amidst all these trees.
You begin to imagine roots growing from your feet to the rich black earth.
Your body gets heavier,
More solid,
Powerful,
Dense.
It's strong and supported as these roots reach deeper and deeper.
They reach bedrock that's supporting the whole ecosystem and still they reach.
They reach until you connect to the power center of the whole earth.
That rich red,
Orange,
Powerful magma.
You have a conduit straight from that grounding,
Powerful,
Primordial energy is flowing up into you.
Meet it with your breath.
Meet it with your breath deep into your low belly.
Your spine lengthens.
You are tall and strong and powerful and held and supported.
Allow yourself to imagine someone that has supported you through your life.
Unconditionally.
That may be a person,
A pet.
It may be a divine presence in your life somewhere where you've been allowed to be exactly as you are.
Maybe a divine mother and maybe nurturing mother earth,
A deity,
A higher power.
You are loved by this world.
Everything is rigged in your favor.
Everything combines to give you information,
Momentum,
Direction to your highest self.
Right now,
You are safe.
Right now,
You are so supported.
Right now,
You are held.
Right now,
You are peace.
Right now,
In this present moment,
You are the you that never changes.
You are you that is eternal,
Unbreakable,
Infinite.
Right now,
You are connected.
You are grounded.
You are home.
Stay here centered and breathing for as long as you wish.
You can create the space inside yourself anytime you wish.
You can return home at any moment.
