Hi,

This is Rod and welcome to this meditation on self-love.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable place to sit or lie down.

Close your eyes and settle in.

You can place your hands by your side or rest them gently on your body.

Feel your body supported and start to relax.

It's time to slow down and take some time for yourself.

If your mind wanders,

That's no problem at all.

You can acknowledge the thought and come back to your breath and come back to me.

Let's begin by taking a few sweet,

Deep,

Slow,

And nourishing breaths together.

Exhaling with a sigh and letting go of anything that you no longer need to be holding onto.

Together let's take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in through your nose and gently let your breath go out through your nose.

Take in another long,

Deep breath.

Hold it for a short pause at the top and let go.

Let everything go.

Let's do that one more time.

A long,

Slow,

Deep breath in and gently release it.

Let everything wash away.

Just observe your breath as it returns to normal.

Watch it as it flows in and watch it as it flows back out.

Notice that your chest rises as you inhale and eases as you exhale.

Notice that your mind is calming.

With each inhale,

Draw in self-compassion and with each exhale,

Release self-judgment.

Now imagine yourself in a quiet,

Beautiful,

Lush,

Green garden with many plants and flowers.

The garden is bathed in the gentle light of dawn.

The air is fresh,

Filled with the scent of its blooming flowers.

You're in the middle of this garden.

The garden is your heart,

A space of infinite love and tranquility.

Now in this moment of calm,

Turn your attention inward.

Feel the warmth of your heart.

Today we turn your heart and your voice into a voice of kindness and compassion.

I hear you,

Full of love.

As you stand in the middle of this beautiful garden,

Repeat after me.

I am love and I embrace and accept myself as I am.

I am love and every breath fills me with loving energy.

I am love and my heart is full of kindness and warmth.

I am love and my love is pure and unconditional.

I am love and I radiate this love to everyone around me.

I am love and my love heals and transforms my fears and doubts.

I am love and in love I find strength and resilience.

Feel the warmth of these words.

Let these affirmations resonate deep within you.

Now picture a gentle,

White light emanating from your heart,

Growing brighter with each repetition.

This light is your energy,

True,

Pure,

And untainted by the world's chaos.

It's the part of you that remains constant,

Unchanging,

And beautiful.

Now repeat after me once more.

I am love and I embrace and accept myself as I am.

I am love and every breath fills me with loving energy.

I am love and my heart is full of kindness and warmth.

I am love and my love is pure and unconditional.

I am love and I radiate this love to everyone around me.

I am love and my love heals and transforms my fears and doubts.

I am love and in love I find strength and resilience.

Love is not something to be found outside of yourself.

It comes from within you,

Endless and ever-present.

Embrace it,

Nurture it,

And let it fill you.

Any love you receive from outside of yourself is an extra,

An addition,

But not a necessity.

You are a complete universe,

Abundant in love and grace.

Now gently place your hands over your heart.

Feel its steady rhythm.

Each beat lets you know that you're alive,

That you're loved,

And that you're more than worthy.

As we near the end of this meditation,

Remember that this garden,

This light,

This love is always within you.

You can return to the sanctuary anytime you feel lost or in need of love.

And remember,

The love you've nurtured here isn't confined to this practice.

It's a part of you.

Let it be your source of strength,

Comfort,

And connection.

Slowly bring your awareness back to the present.

Take in a deep,

Gentle breath,

And as you exhale,

Feel a sense of gratitude for taking this time for yourself.

Gently,

When you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Take a moment to stretch and to feel your body reawakening.

As you conclude this meditation,

Step into your day with the warmth and the light of the love that you are.
