Hello lovely.

If you've hit a wall with your practice,

If everything feels heavy,

Frustrating or just plain off,

You're not alone.

Take a moment to reset your energy,

Connect with your why and find a little peace in the noise.

Let's start with a breath.

Take a deep breath in.

Hold it gently.

And breathe out slowly.

Let's do that again.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

And feel your body soften just a little.

Now let's begin.

I am allowed to have off days.

Progress is not linear.

My practice is a journey,

Not a performance.

Even when it feels hard,

I am still growing.

Taking a break does not mean I'm giving up.

Rest is a part of the process.

I release the need to be perfect.

I trust that the music will return when I'm ready.

My worth is not measured by productivity.

I am a musician even when I struggle.

It's safe small today.

Every note,

Even the wrong ones,

Is part of my evolution.

I honour what my body and mind need today.

I am doing my best and that is always enough.

Music is still within me.

I am allowed to be kind to myself.

It's safe to start small today.

Every note,

Even the wrong ones,

Is part of my evolution.

I honour what my body and mind need today.

I am doing my best and that is always enough.

Music is still within me.

I am allowed to be kind to myself.

Thank you for taking this time for yourself.

Even when it feels tough,

Know that you're not alone in the struggle and you are always,

Always enough.

Whenever you're ready,

You can simply return to your practice or just rest in this quiet moment.

You've done something beautiful and brilliant by showing up.

Take one last deep breath in and exhale.

You've got this.

Thanks so much for this meditation. I’m a musician and have slight carpal tunnel syndrome in my left hand so I’m having some pain today and unfortunately, pain medicine isn’t working. I needed to hear what you said in the affirmations—that it’s okay to take a break and that it doesn’t mean that I’m giving up on my music. Thanks again. I appreciate what you’ve provided me with.
