It's Ryan and I'm here with my good friend Cool Koala.

Hey everyone.

Welcome to day one of your meditation journey.

We're going to lead some fun meditations to help you find your cool and keep your cool.

Wait,

Ryan,

What exactly is a meditation?

Great question Cool Koala.

So let me ask you something.

Do you ever get anxious,

Upset or angry?

Well,

Yeah,

Doesn't everyone?

Why,

Yes they do.

And meditation is a good way to let go of those feelings and start feeling better.

But don't worry,

It's easy.

I'll guide you through it.

But can our friends who are listening join us?

Of course they can.

That's why we're all here.

So try to find a nice quiet spot and get real comfy.

Hey Cool Koala,

Do you want to sound the meditation bell?

Oh yeah,

That would be fun.

Well,

Here you go.

Today we're going to take a relaxing journey using our imagination.

Before we go,

Let's make sure that our body is ready.

You can lay down or sit,

You know,

Whatever works best for you.

And wiggle around until you feel just right.

Now,

I invite you to close your eyes if you're comfortable with that.

And if you're sitting,

Keep your back nice and tall,

Just like a tree,

While still staying relaxed.

And try your best to keep your body still like a mountain.

Let's take one nice slow deep breath.

In through your nose.

Hold.

And out through your mouth.

You're doing great.

Now that you're in a more peaceful place,

Let's use that amazing imagination of yours and take a vacation from your worries.

Picture yourself standing in a big beautiful field.

You can hear some songbirds in the distance.

The grass is tall and green and there are big strong trees all along the edge of this field.

The sky is so blue and the warm yellow sun shines down upon you,

Warming your face and body.

Breathing in,

You can smell the fragrant wildflowers in the field.

You are feeling so very safe and relaxed.

You look down at your hand and see that you are holding a bunch of big colorful balloons.

Now these aren't your typical balloons.

These are very special and can help you let go of any worries or concerns you may have.

See,

All you gotta do is think about one of your worries and picture it floating right from your body and into one of these balloons.

Let's try it right now.

Think of a worry or concern you have and picture it in your mind.

Now,

See it floating right from your mind and into one of these balloons.

Grab this balloon,

Hold it up toward the sky and let it go.

You watch as this worry of yours floats away,

Leaving you feeling even more relaxed and peaceful.

Let's try it again with one more balloon.

Whatever else you might be worrying about,

Just picture it in your mind.

See it going right into this balloon and let it go.

Higher and higher it climbs,

Smaller and smaller it gets until it's gone.

Leaving you feeling even more relaxed and peaceful.

Our time is almost done,

But just know that whenever you need to,

You can return to this place in your imagination and let go of your worries and find this peace.

Well my friends,

We'll leave this special place for now so as the music slowly fades out,

Start to bring your attention back into the room.

You can wiggle your fingers and toes,

Rub your hands together and whenever you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

And remember,

You are one of a kind,

You are wonderful and you are loved.

Alright,

Let's finish up by taking a nice slow deep breath.

Inhale,

Hold,

Exhale.
