Welcome to Matt's motivational meditations.
Go ahead and close your eyes.
Find a comfortable spot to be.
Maybe in a chair.
Maybe on the couch.
Maybe lie down.
Do whatever is comfortable for you.
And take in some deep breaths.
Take in some deep breaths as you welcome in this brand new amazing day.
Because you will only get to live this day once.
Embrace the newness of life that is today.
Embrace it.
Love it.
Know that it is the only thing that you will get today.
Is this moment.
And then the next moment.
And then the next moment.
And you will get another breath.
As you breathe it in slowly or fastly or swiftly.
Enjoy it.
You get another breath.
And we keep living.
We keep going.
For everything that happens in life,
There is a season.
A right time for everything under heaven.
A time to be born.
A time to die.
A time to plant.
A time to collect the harvest.
A time to kill.
A time to heal.
A time to tear down.
A time to build up.
A time to cry.
A time to laugh.
A time to mourn and a time to dance.
A time to scatter stones.
A time to pile them up.
A time for a warm embrace.
A time for keeping your distance.
A time to search.
A time to give up as lost.
A time to keep.
A time to throw out.
A time to tear apart.
A time to bind together.
A time to be quiet.
A time to speak up.
A time to love.
A time to hate.
A time to go to war.
A time to make peace.
But in the end,
Does it really make a difference what anyone does?
I've had a good look at what God has given us to do.
Busy work mostly.
True,
God has made everything beautiful in itself and in its time.
But he's left us in the dark so we can never know what God is up to.
Whether he's coming or going.
I've decided that if there's nothing better to do,
Then go ahead and have a good time.
And get the most out of this life.
That's it.
Eat,
Drink,
And make the most of your job.
It's God's gift.
So enjoy the day,
My friends.
Enjoy the day.
What do they say?
It's called like carpe diem?
Enjoy the day?
I think that's what it is.
I think that's what it's called.
To enjoy the life that we've been given.
To enjoy the work that we've been given.
To enjoy the blessings that we've been given.
To enjoy the laughter.
To enjoy the music.
To enjoy the dancing in life.
So today,
I hope that you make the most of it.
