This track contains drumming and singing. This song is representative of life and how it is like a river. Sometimes it is smooth and flowing quietly, sometimes we get stuck in an eddy and sometimes there are rapids. I would like to acknowledge Elder Beatrice Twance-Hynes from Biigtigong First Nation in Ontario for gifting us with the teachings of making hand drums and singing songs (including a songbook). Miigwech Beatrice. I am grateful for the opportunity to share this song with you. We usually begin with a smudge and prayer to the Creator. We also acknowledge the seven directions on our drum. We usually sing the verse four times and in this case it gets faster on each verse. Miigwech (thank you).

Go with the flow...and keep on going. This song jumps off the page of your offerings often and does not disappoint. Miigwech Cindy
