Good morning everybody.
This is Cindy Crow here from Neebing in northwestern Ontario.
My spirit name is Standing Strong.
I'm of the Caribou Clan.
I'm from the Red Rock Indian Band and I live here on this sacred land that I call Neebin,
Which is,
It is summer.
I'm in the traditional homelands between the Grand Portage community and the Fort William community.
So yeah,
Very,
Very grateful to be here on this special sacred land.
I wanted to talk to you today about one of the things that I'm very passionate about,
And that's interconnectedness.
And to me,
Interconnectedness is not only referring to our connection between humans,
But also our connection between all the other life forces on this planet and around us.
So referring to the everything.
Today,
I wanted to share a little bit with you about the eagle,
The bald eagle in particular.
And when I think about the eagle,
I think about how high it's able to fly.
We say that it flies the closest to the creator and therefore can bring our prayers and our messages to the creator.
When you think about the eagle,
You think about how high it's able to fly and how it has such a broad perspective on things.
So in other words,
The eagle is reminding us to take a step back,
Take a broader view,
Not so much with tunnel vision.
So I really like that.
The eagle is also a representation of the grandfather teaching about love.
So when I see an eagle,
I always know it's a confirmation of love for me.
And if I see an eagle right after I've prayed or asked the universe a question,
Then I know that that eagle is confirming that message for me.
And it brings me great comfort because the eagle is telling me,
Don't worry,
Everything is going to be okay.
So yeah,
I really,
Really like that.
So yeah,
Let's,
Let's think about our eagle friends.
And let's pay respect to them.
Let's honor them.
And the more that you honor these messages that you're receiving from your animal spirit guides,
The more messages you're going to receive.
So yeah,
Wishing you a very love filled day today in honor of the eagle,
The bald eagle.
And yeah,
I look forward to hearing your experiences with the eagle.
And if you have any questions about this recording,
I really look forward to hearing from you.
Have a wonderful day.
Oh,
I have one more thing to add.
And that is the way that we say bald eagle in Anishinaabe is Migizi.
So yeah,
We pray to Migizi.
Have a great day.
