Maia

From the album "Pleiades" by Christel Veraart. The Pleiades, also known as the seven sisters, have guided and inspired multitudes of people throughout history. To honor their special role in navigation, the ancient Greeks referred to the Pleiades as the sailing stars, and Maia's mother, “the sailing queen”. Pleione's seven daughters were all renowned for their beauty, but Maia, the eldest star in the cluster, was singled out as exceptional.
