A brief affirmation for the evening (or whenever you'd like it!). I decided to share it because I've found it very useful for a long time, so I thought it might be of use to other people too. I'd recommend repeating the affirmation as many times as you want, whenever you want so that it can sink in. Maybe even meditate on it if you'd like! Hope it helps and best wishes!

So hello there.

So today I'd just like to share with you a little sort of reassurance or affirmation which I find very useful a lot of the time,

Especially when going to bed,

If you're feeling a lot of sort of worry or fear,

You know,

A lot of that coming through very heavy.

I always find it useful,

I have done for a long time,

To sort of alleviate that a bit,

To sort of help to come to sort of a little realization,

Let's say,

That can help with that.

So I'm just going to say the affirmation a couple of times,

Just repeat it so that it can sink in.

And I'd kind of recommend that after,

You know,

After this little session,

Maybe repeat it a couple of times to yourself,

Just as long as you need,

Whenever you need,

Anything like this,

Because the power in this,

Not to be sort of over dramatic,

But the sort of the power and the usefulness in this really comes from understanding what this means.

And that will make sense in a second,

But really understanding what this affirmation is saying.

So with that said,

Here's the affirmation.

So all fear and worry are entirely in the mind.

All fear and all worry are entirely in the mind.

All fear and all worry are all entirely,

Totally within the mind,

Only in the mind,

Nowhere else.

So again,

Just repeating that a couple of times,

If you want,

If you find that helpful,

Because like I say,

It's really the real sort of power and usefulness in this comes from understanding,

Not just understanding,

But realizing the sort of the meaning of the affirmation,

Sort of what's being said,

That really fear and worry are all entirely in the mind.

In the world around you,

There is no fear and worry.

It's just stuff,

Just world,

Universe,

Whatever you want to call it.

There is no emotion outside.

So this can be really useful,

As I say,

Just to switch things off and sort of relax before bed,

Is how I usually use it.

Or any other time,

You know,

If you're going to do something that's making you a bit nervous or anxious.

And indeed,

It can be used as a sort of path to kind of a greater understanding of emotion and of sort of mindfulness and your mindfulness practice.

Generally,

It can be used to kind of slingshot you sort of onto the onto a kind of realization,

If you like,

And understanding of this.

So I hope I think that's useful for you.

And certainly,

I find it useful for me.

So I thought I'd share it with people.

So I hope that this is useful to you.
