Cord-cutting meditation.
Start by finding a comfortable position.
Sitting upright with your spine long.
Feeling yourself growing taller as if you're lifting up by the crown of your head.
While simultaneously feeling grounded,
Rooted to the earth.
Closing the eyes and starting to drop in.
Taking in a soothing inhale.
Exhaling through the mouth.
Breathing in another soothing breath.
And on the exhale,
Opening the mouth,
Letting it out.
Continuing to breathe in this way.
Inhaling,
Soothing breaths,
Exhaling,
Releasing anything that no longer serves you.
And continue moving your breath in this way.
Calling to mind now,
Someone to whom you feel energetically attached.
Someone you're feeling resistance towards.
Someone you're arguing with.
Calling to mind someone with whom you have a negative energetic connection at this time.
And inviting that person into your meditation.
Envision them sitting or standing in front of you.
And tap in to where you feel that negative energy,
That attachment in your physical body.
Identifying the place or places where that attachment is living.
Breathing into that space.
As you identify those places.
Envision a thick black cord connecting you to the other person.
Continuing to breathe into the tightness.
And now beginning to call on your guides.
Calling on all energies of the highest truth and compassion.
Bringing in that energy to help you sever this cord which is no longer serving you.
Feeling yourself completely safe here,
Surrounded by love and light,
By all energies of the highest truth and compassion.
Energies designed for your highest good.
And call to mind now a blade in your hand.
A sword or a pair of golden scissors.
Taking up this blade in your hand and with the support of your guides of all positive energy surrounding you,
Vision yourself cutting through that cord.
Releasing these attachments.
Releasing any negative energy.
And watching the cord fall to the ground.
As it does,
Noticing the cord start to dissolve into a beautiful golden light.
Turning into a beautiful energy.
Designed for the highest good for all.
Continuing to breathe until that cord fully dissolves.
Soaking in the beautiful energy of that golden light.
And allowing a sense of peace,
Of ease to come over your mind,
Over your body.
And especially breathing in that sense of peace into the areas where the cord was attached.
Letting yourself expand and open in those areas.
Soaking up this beautiful healing energy.
Beginning to let this visualization go.
Sending out gratitude and loving kindness to the person you've released yourself from.
Beginning to return to your breath.
Bringing awareness back to your physical body.
Back into the room.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes.
