Welcome to Charm Words,

Your daily reminder to be good to yourself and others.

My name's Zola,

And together we're going to breathe in the good,

Breathe out the bad,

And use words to remind ourselves of our worth.

Sometimes people's expectations of us,

Or our expectations of ourselves,

Make us feel pressured.

When we feel pressured,

We might not want to try at all because we don't want to disappoint people.

We can't control what others think,

But we can make the choice to love and be proud of ourselves no matter what.

We deserve it just for being us.

Today's Charm Words are about letting ourselves try our best,

Learn from our mistakes,

And try our best again.

Let's do some belly breathing,

Then we'll do our affirmations.

When you breathe in,

Use your nose and keep your shoulders still.

Once your belly fills up like a balloon,

Breathe out through your mouth by just letting go.

In through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

Take a gentle,

Deep breath slowly through your nose,

And breathe out through your mouth.
