Explore MeditationChange with Yoga - Erika Newberry Erika (she/her) began her own personal practice in 1998 and has been teaching yoga since 2011. Erika has recently moved from Naam (Melbourne) in Wurundjeri country, and is now based in Meanjin (Brisbane) on the land of the Jagera/Yuggera. Erika is a certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) and Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga facilitator (TCTSY-F) and has been facilitating yoga in various settings such as corporate, yoga studios, schools, psychiatric hospital, corrections facility, rehabilitation facilities and working with refugee communities, since 2011. Erika specializes in working with those who are living with complex trauma and through trauma sensitive yoga, supports clients in cultivating curiosity around the experience of being in their body and building a sense of personal agency.
