Welcome.
I'll begin by inviting you to find a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down.
And you can focus on your breath.
There's no need to change how you're breathing right now.
Notice how the air feels going into your nose.
And then notice where your breath goes next.
Maybe you're breathing through your nose.
Maybe it goes into your chest or into your belly.
See how your exhale feels.
You might breathe out through your nose or through your mouth.
Take a few more breaths just observing what it feels like to be in your body right now.
If you feel your mind start to wander,
You can come back to this anchor of your breath.
I'll invite you to drop a little bit deeper into your body.
Maybe locate any areas of tension that might be present.
You can soften your eyes and their sockets.
Relax your jaw.
Drop your shoulders.
Release any tightness in your back.
You might move your hips back and forth,
Releasing any tension there.
You can flex your feet and your toes,
Letting go of any lingering tightness in any part of your body.
And if there's anywhere that still feels tense,
I'll invite you to take your breath to that area of your body.
And on the exhale,
Let just a little bit more of that tension go.
Beautiful.
Now I'll invite you to take five shared breaths with me right now.
So we're going to inhale for five seconds and exhale for five seconds.
Meet me at the bottom of your next inhale and inhale and exhale.
Inhale,
Exhale.
And as you continue to breathe,
A portal opens up before you.
You step towards it and enter,
Allowing it to transport you.
And you arrive in a room connected to a long hallway.
In the middle of this hallway running along its length is a golden rope.
And you start to walk down the hallway alongside this golden rope.
Maybe you're touching it,
But you're allowing it to guide you.
And as you continue to walk down this hallway,
A figure starts walking towards you.
They get closer and you see this figure outlined in light.
They are one of your ancestors who has come to meet with you today.
Notice what they look like,
What it feels like to be around them.
Maybe you recognize them.
Maybe you don't.
You might feel you might have a sense what side of the family that they're from.
Maybe,
You know,
You just know where they lived when they were alive.
Whatever is happening right now,
Just let it unfold.
And as they continue to stand before you,
They outstretch their hands revealing a glowing box.
They pass it to you and invite you to open it.
And whenever you're ready,
You open it and you receive whatever is inside.
It might be an object,
A message,
A feeling,
A simple truth that lands differently.
Trust whatever is being shown to you right now.
Trust this gift and trust your interpretation of its meaning.
You don't need to overthink it.
I'll give you a little bit of time to be with this gift from your ancestor.
Your ancestor nods at you,
Smiles at you,
Sends you their love.
Take a minute to send your love and gratitude to them as well for coming to meet you today.
And remember that you can come meet them here again anytime in this hall of ancestors.
You start to walk back down the hallway,
Following that golden rope once again.
You arrive back at the portal and step through it,
Bringing you back here to your body.
And I'll invite you once again to come back to your breath as an anchor.
No need to change anything.
Just notice how you are breathing right now.
Feel this movement of breath throughout your body again.
And when you feel ready,
You can start to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
You might want to roll your shoulders a little bit.
You can loosen your hips,
Lean gently to one side and then the other.
You might put some movement into your hands.
And when you feel ready,
You can slowly start to open your eyes and come back to the present moment.
