Today,

We journey inward to meet the parts of ourselves that have long waited for compassion.

No part of you is wrong or broken.

Everything within you is worthy of love.

As we sit with our shadows,

We soften judgment and open the door to deeper healing.

My name is Cari,

And I'll be your guide.

Let's begin with a few slow,

Deep breaths in through your nose,

Exhale out of your mouth,

And again in through your nose,

Exhale out of your mouth.

I just want to invite you to feel how your body is supported by the chair,

And in turn,

Feeling your body supported by the earth.

With each exhale,

Begin to soften into a deeper state of allowing.

Imagine or sense there's a strong grounding cord that begins to form from the base of your thigh,

And widened to be the width of your hips,

And it begins to travel down through the layers of the earth.

You're feeling a sense of being grounded and centered.

Then it arrives,

The very golden,

Molten center,

Giving you a sense of feeling connected,

Strong,

Present and grounded.

And whether you see imagery,

Or whether you just sense it,

As we begin this journey,

Open to whatever occurs for you,

Imagine or sense that you're stepping into a vast,

Serene space,

A beautiful space of acceptance,

Non-judgment,

Love,

And peace.

Maybe it's a beautiful garden,

A temple,

Beach somewhere peaceful,

Or a calm mountaintop.

We are now beginning to feel this sense that everything is allowed here.

Everything belongs,

And everything is accepted.

There's a part of you that would like to be seen.

It's a part of you that has gotten pushed to the side and dismissed.

And in this safe place,

Amongst this security and this feeling of ease,

We're going to gently invite that part of you into the space.

That part of you might be a figure,

A symbol,

A sensation,

Or even a color.

Whoever it shows up is absolutely perfect.

It's there to be healed,

Honored and recognized and understood.

This is a simple,

Easy process.

Just imagine now or sense that you're sitting across from this shadow aspect.

During this time,

Just begin to breathe and relax,

Knowing you are comfortable and safe and secure here.

Imagine that your shadow self sits across from you.

And whatever arises,

We are simply here to witness.

We're not trying to change or fix.

We're just observing and holding space.

Then,

I'd like you to ask your shadow self,

What are you hoping to show me?

Just allowing the feelings,

Images,

Or messages arise.

Discomfort is a doorway to greater wholeness.

I'd like you now,

Just imagine that you're sending a wave of pure compassion and mercy towards your shadow self.

This comes from the divine and from pure love and healing.

Just imagine that whatever is arising or coming begins to be released gently,

Easily,

And with compassion.

As that begins to shift and change the energy for your shadow,

Now begin to sense or imagine that you're wrapping it in golden light,

Offering them a gentle smile and a compassionate gesture.

Let shadow know you see them,

You honor them,

And you welcome them home.

Be sure to breathe in through your nose,

Exhale out of your mouth.

No need to change anything,

Just observe.

Beautiful.

Now,

As we shift back,

I just want you to thank your shadow for its willingness to be seen and share with you its experience.

The integration with your shadow is a journey,

And this meeting is a beautiful step forward to healing,

Integration,

Balance.

Begin by slowly bringing your awareness to your breath.

Again,

Thanking your shadow for being here and sharing with you and giving you insight,

Wisdom,

And guidance so that you may live a more integrated,

Balanced life.

You have just taken a courageous step towards wholeness.

By witnessing your shadow with compassion,

You reclaim more of your true self.

Trust that this space of acceptance you've created will continue to ripple through your life.

Take a few deep breaths in,

Knowing you're integrating in all of this wisdom.

Again,

Coming back to this moment.
