Whether you wake up at 5 am or 10 am, creating a daily wake-up routine can become your anchor in a day full of unpredictable situations. This practice will guide you to begin your day with the right intentions. Focus on the power of your intentions to flow throughout the day.

Each day is a new beginning and when you started with a morning meditation,

You can gently release expectations and set the right intentions for a successful day.

Whether you wake up at 5 or 10 am,

Creating a daily wake up routine can become your anchor in a day full of unpredictable situations.

This meditation will guide you to begin your day with the right intentions.

Focus on the power of your intentions to flow throughout the day.

Give yourself a loving stretch from head to toe and come to a comfortable seated meditation position.

You can lie your hands facing up on your lap or you can place them on your chest,

Feeling your breath in and out and the beating of your heart.

Let's take 3 deep breaths before we start.

Inhale through the nose and a count of 3.

And exhale through the mouth and a count of 3.

Do it again.

Inhale through the nose.

Exhale through the mouth.

One more time.

Inhale feeling your chest raising up.

Exhale through the mouth.

Let go of the expectations for what you want this day to be and start setting intentions to how you want to feel,

Regardless of the situations.

Setting the intention for how you want to feel instead of how you want the day to be.

This is the most important part of your day.

This practice will honor the desires you have for yourself.

Remember that you are not able to control how the day will go but you can establish early on how you want to approach anything that comes your way.

When you make the commitment to see the brighter side of everything in your day,

You will remember to honor yourself by finding the positive in every situation.

This practice will give you the power to create how you will affect the day and not how the day will affect you.

When you begin the day setting your intentions to how you want to feel,

This mindset will change your life for the better.

Now repeat to yourself.

I will accept that I am not in control of what happens around me.

However,

I can always take control on how I choose to feel about it,

On how I react to and move forward from events.

I decide now how I want my day to feel like.

I am not setting any expectations for how I want the day to go but how I want to feel.

I know I cannot control other people,

The traffic,

The weather,

I have no power over what's outside of me.

But I will intend to feel confident,

Strong,

Helpful,

Fearless,

Proud and happy.

Everything that happens today,

I will remember to align with my intentions.

Today I choose to feel lighter,

Happier and graceful.

I will show up for the possibilities and the universe will show up for me.

I will keep my heart and mind open to appreciate when little blessings show up along my way and I will be grateful for it.

I will choose my words wisely,

Doesn't matter who I will be talking to.

I will compliment myself for the good choices I will make during this day and I will feel proud of myself.

I will remember my good intentions for this day and this will keep me open for the divine surprises in life.

I am feeling excited to start this new day in my life and I know it doesn't matter how the outside world unfolds.

I choose peace,

I choose love and I choose grace.

You never know what a new day will bring you,

So be open,

Surrender your thoughts of how you want to feel and always be open to the new possibilities.
