Wintering is an invitation to soften, slow down, and return to the quiet wisdom within. Inspired in spirit by the themes explored in Katherine May’s Wintering, this course explores the restorative power of winter as a time of inwardness, renewal, and gentle transformation. The series unfolds across 12 sessions, guiding you through the inner landscape of the season: rest, darkness, breath, quiet, slowing down, nature, nourishment, trust, returning light, community, and deep inner wisdom. This experience is designed to lead you into a gentler rhythm - one that softens the nervous system, reconnects you with your inner world, and honors the natural intelligence of winter. You will learn to rest more deeply by softening your breath, relaxing your body, and making space for stillness. Through breathwork, visualization, and quiet reflection, you will begin rebuilding trust in your own timing, allowing your system to reset at a pace that does not rush or demand. Across these sessions, you will strengthen your connection to your inner knowing and begin to integrate the truths that rise only in stillness. Each session is approximately eleven minutes in length, beginning with a reflective opening and moving gently into a guided meditation, a moment of stillness, and an optional flow-writing prompt offered at the end of each session. This course is intentionally gentle - paced with softness, held with clarity, and grounded in the belief that winter is not a season to endure, but a sacred companion in your becoming. By the end of this series, you can expect to feel more rested, more centered, more connected to yourself, and more trusting of your own inner rhythm.
