Introduction To Proprioception And Interoception
-Understanding the concepts of proprioception and interoception -Importance of mind-body connection for overall well-being -Guided body scan meditation to initiate awareness Students: Please bring a journal for notes or reflection and wear comfy clothing for the awareness practice at the end of this session.

Grounding Techniques For Proprioception
-Importance of grounding in body awareness -Guided barefoot walking and mindful stepping -Journaling: Reflecting on the experience of grounding * Students: Please bring a journal for notes and reflection, and wear comfortable clothing. If you are able, please also bring a foot rolling ball or a small towel that can be rolled up, as well as something that you can step on that has a texture, such as yoga mat, fuzzy bath mat, rough door mat.

Proprioceptive Awareness Through Movement
-Proprioception and the body on ‘autopilot’ – observing musculoskeletal patterning -Mindful movement and breath exploration emphasizing proprioceptive engagement -Guided body scan meditation to increase awareness of body sensations **Students - Please keep your journal ready for your own self-reflection and wear comfortable clothing. If you are able, please also have a chair and a and space to lay down would be optimal.

Tuning Into Interoception - Emotions And Sensations
-Interoception and its role in emotional awareness and connection to the nervous system -Thoughts become things – how the body is the container for emotion -Guided body scan meditation with a focus on emotional sensation *Students: Please bring a journal for those who may feel inspired to write. Wear comfy clothes and have a space to lie down if possible.

Cultivating A Sustainable Mind-Body Connection
-Applied Being and Doing -Learning to re-connect to self, others and nature -Short movement practice and affirmation meditation *Students bring a journal for those who like to write. Wear comfortable clothes and have a space to lie down if possible.
