Self-care consists of so much more than a day at the spa. Taking care of the outside without taking care of the inside is like polishing your car without ever looking under the hood. In this 5 day course, you'll learn tips and tools that aim to improve your relationship with your inner self so you can live a more happy, joyous, and free life on the sober path.
The techniques in this course include principles of positive psychology, neuroscience, meditation, visualization, journaling, and ayurvedic recommendations. Please have a pen and paper handy each day.
Sadie is a Sober Coach, 500hr Registered Yoga Teacher, YA Continuing Education Provider and Faculty Member for the Institute of Living Yoga in Portland, OR. She earned her bachelors degree in human development and psychology from Oregon State University and integrates her western education with eastern philosophy, medicine, and practices.
Most importantly, she's a person who has recovered from drug addiction since 2011. Her mission is to guide people affected by addiction in cultivating a sustainable lifestyle of sobriety. With over a decade of experience, she's had the privilege of guiding thousands of people on the sober path using a blend of yoga philosophy, movement, mindfulness, meditation, ayurveda, positive psychology, and the principles of neuroscience.

I love your 11th step prayer. I hear something new every day and it takes the effort and the neurosis of good meditator/bad meditator self judgement out of my day; it helps me keep it simple while connecting to my day and my higher power. Likewise I did this course just listening and plan to do it again with the pause and writing. Your voice is palbably grounding and I can feel that you're invested in others emotional sobriety and come from a place of service.
