Understanding the Eternal Path
This lesson will focus on Sanatana Dharma, also known as modern-day Hinduism, which is considered the origins of yoga. Sanatana Dharma, often translated as "the path towards the eternal truth," is based on the teachings of the Vedas, ancient texts that were Divinely revealed to the sages of ancient times.
The class will also explore how the principles and practices of Sanatana Dharma have evolved over time and continue to shape the beliefs and practices of modern-day Hindu scriptures such as the Bhagavad Gita and Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, as well as western yoga practices.

Lesson 2: Three Principles of Yoga
This lesson will focus on the three eternal principles found in the Vedas: Brahman, Atma, and Prakriti. These principles are considered the foundation of Vedic philosophy and offer a comprehensive understanding of the nature of reality and our place in it.
We will explore the concept of Brahman as the ultimate reality and supreme consciousness that permeates all things. Additionally, we will delve into Atma, often translated as the soul, as the individual aspect of consciousness. Finally, we will examine Prakriti, often translated as nature, as the physical world that surrounds us.
