Lição 1
Setting An Intention
This evening’s session sets the tone for our 7-day journey. You’ll hear an overview, practice our moon meditation posture, and set an intention for personal transformation. Bring a piece of paper and something to write with, as well as headphones to experience the binaural beats of the music.
Lição 2
Charging Our Intention
We enter our moon-lit meditation under the growing energy of the waxing moon, symbolizing expansion and attraction, and opening the perfect portal for us to manifest our personal transformation. We will pair this charging of our intentions with beautiful moon poetry by Dickinson entitled “The Moon was But a Chin of Gold”.
Lição 3
Stirring Up Energy
Just as the waxing moon grows, so does the intensity of its pull on the ocean tides. As we sit in meditation with the magic of these natural phenomena, we deepen our intentions for personal transformation, stirring up energy for new ventures. Our seeds of intention are further fertilized by moon poetry from Rumi entitled “Dance in Your Blood”.
Lição 4
Full Moon Meditation
We’ve reached the apex of this lunar cycle, the Full Moon, and with it our intentions for personal transformation get an extra dose of spectacular, mystical energy. We’ll also imbibe a special course of moon poetry from Hafez called “With that Moon Language”.
Lição 5
Clearing Old Energy
We now welcome the waning moon, which holds its own energy. As the moon’s light diminishes each night, it sets the perfect stage for letting go and releasing what no longer serves us. We’ll also sit with the beautiful energy of a poem by Li Bai entitled “Drinking Alone under the Moon”.
Lição 6
Rebalancing Energy And Activity
The dwindling light of the waning moon invites us to consider the balance of energy and activity, and where in our lives we want to affect change to support our personal transformation. We accompany this with a piece by Neruda called “If You Forget Me”.
Lição 7
Nightly Connection Practice
We celebrate our final session by setting an intention for a nightly connection practice to support our personal transformation, and closing out the course with a poem by Ayneh entitled “My Sister the Moon”.
