Journaling Into Spring - Writing For Habit Creation

Por Laura Dietze

Comece o Dia 1
O que você irá aprender
In these 10 sessions recommended to do across 10 consecutive days, I will guide you through different kinds of journaling to experience what feels right for you and to create a habit of journaling. Habits need a routine (the journaling), a reward (the awesome feeling you get afterward for showing up for yourself), repetition (we will do 10 together and you can take it from there), and a trigger or a cue until they are fully formed (the 10 sessions will help you to get into it in a structured way). The 10 sessions will introduce you to different formats, give you prompts to make it easier to start, and provide you with a structure to get going. We will start with a recurring ritual to get you settled and ready and explore different ways of journaling each day.

Lição 1
Gratitude Journaling And Insights Into Habit Creation
In this first session, we dive into how habits are created and go through our first guided journaling session. The topic of the first session is gratitude journaling. The session includes 5 minutes of actual journaling practice.
Lição 2
Free Writing - The Benefits Of Not Taking Your Pen Of The Paper For 5 Minutes Straight
Today we start forming the journaling habit. We talk about free form writing and the benefits of keeping going for the full 5 minutes without taking the pen off the paper. And we journal for the body. We start with a body scan and see what our body is telling us today and journal around that.
Lição 3
Past-Present-Future Journaling With Prompts
From today onwards we start experimenting with different prompts, different themes. Today journaling is around past - present - future. What comes up when you focus on yourself in those 3 different time frames?
Lição 4
A Sunrise Visualization Followed By Journaling On The Return Of Spring
Today's theme is sunrise. We are still exploring different prompts and how they change your journaling. Today's session starts with a sunrise visualization exploring the connection of spring and sunrise. The common theme of the light and the energy returning. In the following journaling practice you get to reflect on what that return means to you.
Lição 5
The First Full Moon Of Spring And The Thoughts That Come With It
We are still exploring different prompts and stick with the theme of strong nature connections and what they trigger within us. Today's topic is the first full moon of spring. Pink moon, ice melt moon, bud moon. We start with a visualization about the power of the full moon and move into journaling from there.
Lição 6
No Prompt Journaling - An Open Space For Whatever Comes Up
You are developing into an independent writer of your journal. Today there will be no prompt. Just a frame, a space held by me for your daily journaling. We continue the habit creation process but without any prompt and see what comes up for you without any outside influence.
Lição 7
Rituals - What They Mean And How To Create Them
Today's theme is rituals. With the prompt for your daily journaling practice being rituals you get to reflect on the meaning of existing or future rituals for your life but also on the ritual of journaling.
Lição 8
Formats: Brainstorm, Create Personal Statements And The Magic Of Reading Out Loud
Today we are not only experimenting with prompts but with the format. A more prescriptive format than previously lets you move through 3 different phases. A brainstorming style free writing, turning the written words into personal statements, reflecting through reading them out loud.
Lição 9
Evening Journaling, Exploring Different Times Of The Day For Your Journaling Practice
Today's journaling session is an evening session and it encourages you to not only explore formats and prompts but also the time of day you are journaling. We start with a little wind-down breathwork, let the day pass us by like a movie screening, and then move into journaling.
Lição 10
Reflecting On 10 Days Of Journaling And How To Keep Going
With the 10 days coming to an end, we use our last journaling session together to reflect on 10 days of journaling in different formats, with different prompts, and at different times of the day. This session gives you room to explore what the right journaling practice is for you going forward.
